MAX HOLLOWAY   DEF. FRANKIE EDGAR
– to retain featherweight title
unanimous decision (50-45, 49-46, 48-47) - Round 5, 5:00

Cris Cyborg   def. Felicia Spencer
unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) - Round 3, 5:00
The winners were as many predicted but I didn't expect both fights to go the distance especially the Cyborg-Spencer fight. Even though she lost, kudos still to Spencer for her toughness. She's a future champion if she doesn't suffer major injuries.
Not a KO victory, but from what I've seen it was a relatively easy win for Cris Cyborg despite a cut in the first round, so I'm still thinking it was a pretty sure bet. Spencer proved she's talented and has a big chin.
BTW Cris Cyborg is asking for a rematch against Amanda Nunes.

The odds might be fair, however would you bet? Would you risk big to win small? I reckon most bettors would pass on this bet.
I would rather put a bet for under 1.5 rounds for Cristiane Justino v Felicia Spencer fight which would give you a better odd  Wink or you can parlay it with another bet.

My bet prediction for UFC 240

Geoff Neal to win against Niko Price
Hakeem Dawodu to win against Yoshinori Horie
Cristiane Justino v Felicia Spencer Under 1.5 rounds
Max Holloway v Frankie Edgar going for over 2.5 rounds

Also, is Frankie going to win versus another dominant Hawaiian hehehe?

He's def a live dog.  IMHO.  His loss to Ortega took his stock a couple of notches down tho, that's why we're seeing the line we're seeing...  Again, imho.

@nydiacaskey01. That is not really a hard choice because she is the clear favorite. However, would you bet? The odds on Cyborg are very low. You would need to bet $700 to win only $100.

You're a "bbc.reporter" and you are using american odds?  Roll Eyes LOL
Well I don't think -700 or -600 are very low odds for Cris Cyborg despite her last KO against Amanda Nunes.
The level in women MMA is still very heterogeneous, with huge gaps between fighters. And I think there is one between her and Spencer.

I will go for Cyborg on this, she will try to recover on her loss to Nunes last UFC 232 and maybe ask for a rematch. Dana White may approve this fight. Both fighters (Cyborg and Nunes) are crowd drawers. But for now, I think Cyborg is pretty much determined to win on this fight. She is still  one of the feared fighters in her division.
I was expecting that, no doubt that Cyborg would be the crowd's favorite this time knowing that she has the caliber like what Rousey and Nunes have. I'm just hoping that she is really well-prepared and maintained her good shape for this fight because 7 month rest is not a joke.
A seven-month break for a fighter of this rank is really a very long time, after which it will be very difficult to recover for the next fight.  But as practice shows, the fighter will always be able to show the best results in future competitions.

If a player will do more successive training and do it seriously with dedication along with courage, possible he will soon recover all the failures he had with UFC fight. Recovery will took over a year before a player achieve a well trained ability. Skills and other particular factors to consider must be developed before aiming greater results.

They found someone else to fight Cyborg.
Cris Cyborg (20-2-0, 1NC) Vs Felicia Spencer (7-0-0)
Another viticim for Cyborg to face and after this fight i would guess UFC will make the rematch between Cyborg and Nunes yet again and it will be a bigger spectacle for them. There is no way Spencer will win the fight against Cyborg.

Dunno...  I'm just not too stoked about Holloway lately...  And Edgar.  I'd rather see Zabit vs Holloway.  Someone new, you what I mean?
I am big fan of Zabit Magomedsharipov skill set as he is a complete fighter with all the skills you need to have to become a top fighter, not sure when he is scheduled to fight next but i am expecting him to fight for the title in a years time and it will be a great battle against Max Holloway as his skills sets and stamina made him the dominant champion he is in the division which is ruled by Jose Aldo.

The only chance Spencer has is to go  for a submission. Her go to sub is rear naked choke.
I have a way to bet this that I call a "degenerate synthetic derivative". What you do is bet on
Cyborg In The Distance (ITD) or via TKO we are looking for something around 1.5 if possible the odds are not out yet on these props.
Let´s say you bet 100 to win 15, then in another seperate bet place the 15 you would win on Spencer via Submission(prop bet).
The odds are not out for the second part but I think it should be about 8.00 - 10.00. This means that if Cyborg wins, you get a push, you lose nothing.
If Spencer wins via sub which is imo the only way she has a chance then you win 50 if the Spencer via sub is 10.00 odds.
Really interesting betting strategy, thank you to expose it  Smiley
Do you know on which betting site we can find those bets?

I'd rather see Zabit vs Holloway.
Interesting match up. Great stand up skills and I see similarities with prime Anthony Petis. I don't see Max getting dethroned anytime soon so we may see this fight happening in a few months or early next year.
