Well, it really depends on how much he bet with to win that much in a luck-based betting.
It's OK if he bet only little or amount he can afford to lose. Not a good idea to gamble or take big risk in my opinion.
By the way, what we call luck may not really be luck, unless you really believe we live in a random "universe" without purpose. *Me just say luck because everyone else says luck.

You own the pen
If I were him, I wouldn't even tell people that I won that much. I will just disappear on the gambling site and continue to live my life as nothing has happened. this will bring him so much attention andI'm sure he can't walk on the street without someone accompanying him. this is the toughest situation you need to face you are going to the public after a huge win. this will also serve as a lesson for us too.

Definitely a fortune made by that person and was lucky enough to win twice in so short period of time. Not sure though if he will gamble or not but if he maintains discipline and uses this money rightly he could make more money in coming future by investing in right asset allocation during this times where many business opportunities exists at discounted rates. So other than gambling also could make money if he stays invested in good stocks or crypto coins.

If I won that amount I would quit while ahead and never look back. However since he is spending his fortune in a fast way it is only a matter of time when he will return to gambling.I think he will return the moment he spends or losses every cent that he has won. When he arrives at this point he will start to think that maybe I win again if I gamble again and that is what is going to happen.

I don't know if he could spend it quickly since there is a lockdown and he must keep in mind that there isn't a certain time when this lockdown will end. It's not logical to buy luxurious products these days I guess he can just spend it on food supplies. But his decision to stop while ahead means he thinks wisely.

If he has that gambling mindset, definitely, he can still fall for that thought that he can extend his luck and go chase for another windfall. I myself won big in a land based casino and in less than 24 hours I'm back again and hoping that I will get lucky. Not the best thing to do!!

I hope he will stand on his decision to quits while ahead. Good for him.
This is one of the good news I heard in gambling, able to win a huge amount and decided to take profits, bought some needs in his life.
He can be a role model for some gamblers. But for sure, there are still some people will talk negatively to him after what he did, like telling "You should gamble more, you have now huge capital, you have nothing to lose".

I will do the same thing if will also win that huge amount of money, gambling relies on luck so winning on it is such a great feeling. I think winning so much money is enough because you will lost your prize if you still going to bet because luck is not always on our side, know how to be contented, do not take the risk of spending your prize on betting and betting.

Winning the game should stop you from gambling, it is really different from those people that won't stop betting while losing the game, some people triggers so much when they keep losing their money so they cannot stop gambling because of thinking that they can turn back the money that have lost.

Josh Spurling decided to gamble out of sheer boredom since he was locked at home due to the current lockdown situation, and he gambled on two different occasions and on both he won big amounts totalling to £400,000.

It’s also pertinent to note that he’s decided not to gamble anymore as he believes to quit while he’s ahead, but something tells me he’s going to gamble again.

Now I know many will ask me why I feel this, so the answer is simple he’s already spending his fortune away quickly, and he’ll have more confidence in his luck so it’s only a matter of days before he gambles again.

Lastly there’re two important lessons we all can learn from him, 1) quit while you’re ahead and 2) don’t splurge your winning fortune quickly spend it slowly and wisely.

A SALESMAN won more than £400,000 in online casinos when he was bored during lockdown.

Josh Spurling struck lucky in two games just a few days apart.

Quote

The window and door salesman has already spent £50,000 on a house deposit, as well as presents for himself and his family including his daughters aged eight and three. A holiday is also on the cards.

But Josh is now giving up online gambling. He said: “I feel I’ve had my luck and I’ve done really well. If I carried on I’d jinx it.”
