This is why many people don't earn a lot through bitcoin since they dump their coins very quickly for short term profits. Everyone knows that the secret to earning big bucks in the crypto world is mostly through the long term HODL. Bitcoin currently is over 13k and I believe that it might go to 45k by this time next year which is why I am HODLING my coins. Bitcoin and Ethereum are the best long term investments according to me and the rest of the altcoins don't even come close in this scenario. We are HODLers

I sold most of my altcoins but i still hold eth and waves since they are both doing well against bitcoin in the past few days. It's always hard to decide when bitcoin is always like that.
I did it a few weeks ago and I knew that I did not think that everything would turn out so well and that this adventure would be crowned with such success

dont sell alts, dont give in to the FOMO! a correction will come and then you'll be like dang shoulda hodled.
So true. Don't sell just to cut your loses. Since bitcoin is going to the moon and alts are left behind many are planning to sell their alts so they can also taste what's the moon like but they actually just worsen things. Just hold and next year will be the year of alts.
Yeah I guess, the current condition is really the right decision to move first to bitcoin which is currently the price is experiencing a massive pumping.
But I think still doesn't rule out the possibility, some altcoins also would be following the trail of bitcoin price developments I guess in the next.

My view is opposit to it. I think this is the time to sell Bitcoin and buy Altcoin. For example ONION raise to $3 from $0.70 more than 4 times in three week only.
Bitcoin and Ethereum will grow much stronger in 2018 so no need to take a risk in alts. This is 99% solid investment.
I don't know about you guys, but my altcoin holdings have been doing great against bitcoin. For some reason they seem to just be riding the price rise right along with bitcoin so really I'm better off than if I had moved them all back into bitcoin. Going from $0.50 to $1.00 doubles my holdings whereas bitcoin may be guaranteed but still my respective gains will be less in comparison. Alts are making their comeback and bitcoin is just leading the pack.

Its funny how bitcoin rapidly increase and im lucky enough to catch up to invest in bitcoin while its price is 7300$ and now its price is almost 15,000$ im hoping it would continue so that I can have big profit. But im always monitoring its price in case it would dump it price I can sell it and earn some salary in bitcoin.

I have sell alt coin long time ago in the early of November , at that point I see Bitcoin keep on going up, so I decided to sell my alt try my luck on BTC even though at that point alt price was also going up, and it works, now Bitcoin has been skyrocket and reach a very high price
I think it's going to be the best time to sell bitcoins before and after the Chicago exchange, because a lot of people are thinking about selling bitcoins.
I do not sell my altcoin just to exchange with bitcoin because it is only a matter of time for the holders

Im keeping a healthy stack of both types of coins. Diversify your i vestments you don't want all your eggs in one basket. Also the new bitcoin price is due to new money i beilive... Alt coins didnt take a beating this time around which hopefully means new blood isnentering the crypto world

Bitcoin seems like going too fast in the previous days so it makes me think maybe there would be some people behind pushing it upwards to attract more people to join and then flip it afterwards when the bitcoin futures come. Whatever happens, I would just make sure to reap some profits from bitcoin by selling some of it in exchange for fiat. Some of my alts are down but I intend to hold them for long term so I did not sell them but I plan to buy more at the bottom.
It didn't even last a month for someone to double his money if he invested last month when the price is around $7,000. It's too good to be true but then it is true and others who were not able to get in the train and still doubtful about it are now bashing bitcoin.
If you want to invest in bitcoin for a long term, it's good. But, if you stay with altcoin, it's good too, but for short term. You can get profit from them. I think, movement price in altcoin is good at the moment.
