it is okay to sell bitcoin these days. but I suggest selling 30% of your total assets, because I think you can use your other assets to be used to get bigger profits.

It's your wish, You bought Bitcoin at deep and want to sell at top, if you don't care about 100K rally then you can sell, But in my opinion why you sell your Bitcoin if you don't need to sell it. there are many hodler who hodl Bitcoin during the years but didn't sell  a penny cause they don't need to sell it they have money in real life and they invested in Bitcoin for securing their future. If you bought a land you will never sell that until you don't need to sell cause you know that land will secure your future life. So if you need money then you cn sell a little portion of your investment and hodl the rest of BTC.
^ That is definitely a good question if you don't need it, then there is no reason for your to sell your BTC, each of us has a different insight about selling our BTC, that is fine to sell anytime as long as your profit was there and do not sell when the price is low upon you purchased it. But if you do not need cash, keep holding and wait for a better opportunity, as we witnessed, BTC was boosting too much the price this year, it will always have a surprise of having a new ATH after a month passed. Nevertheless, think twice that you can not able to jump again when the BTC price is too expensive.

Selling BTC is a matter of comfort and it varies per individual.  There isn't any such time to sell. You sell when you have a reason to and not just because you felt you've made profit. The reason for a sale could be very possibly that you've made profit but, is it the best?
Well, selling with the idea of buying when it falls is a good idea but, its only good as much as you know or is able to determine whe  the market has actually hit a low.

But importantly,  bitcoin is not a currency you just sell. It appreciates with time so, its best to be patient with it. But, the issue of selling is always up to you to find the best time that suits your own purpose or need as at that time.

Bitcoin struggled past the $ 61k resistance price, several times trying to get past the $ 61k price tag but always failed.  There may be a correction
to the support price at $ 57k. So now is the right time to sell Bitcoin. But don't sell all the Bitcoin we have, just in case the Bitcoin price manages
to rise above $ 61k. We still have to monitor Bitcoin's current movement, because there are many possibilities that could happen. If you want to
buy altcoins, you should buy BNB, because the performance for the past few days is quite good and the price might go back up to ATH price.

So I bought BTC at £9000, made a nice amount. Is it a good idea to now sell this and move that money into alt coins? or should I  sell half BTC and buy back in after alt season is finished?

What do you think?

I personally would keep the Bitcoins I have, the market continues to rise and we are early from a long-lasting bear market. Or a long-term correction can be obtained at a cost of $ 100,000.

If you want to invest in Altcoins and have no other funds, it may be a good idea to use 20% to 30% of your Bitcoins and keep the rest. But I personally wouldn't sell half of my Bitcoins now.

I suggest you sell half and wait for pumping or dumping. If you sell today half it’s best price for you. You can rest after sell.

Just wait some days to cut a good profit from it. It is really not time for selling Bitcoin. It has already crossed $60k and hopefully within short possible of time, it will reach $100k. So hold Bitcoin and wait some more days if you want to get good profit.
Why would wait for 100k if you can sell it off at this moment to materialize the profits in a short time basis and then buyback later on when the price had corrected?
We cant really resist in not to do so knowing that we've been playing around 50k price on this week or last week as far as i remember and now we are in 60k
which means its a profit for your side and its not bad to consider on making such step and profit out instead of hodling.Well, this is a matter of choice though
because we do have different target or goals in life.

To put it simply, sell when you are profitable or you have a target price you want to achieve. There is no limit to what price you have to sell your BTC.
You can sell it and buy it again if the price starts to fall.
Selling to secure your capital is also workable and it is a few safe ways.

Now that the decision is yours, take the profit and enjoy it if you want to sell it. But if you believe that the bitcoin price will hit $100K, then I believe the choice is hold. I don't think you need to sell some of your bitcoin to buy altcoin because at the same time you can still make a profit due to the increase in the price of bitcoin. If the price of bitcoin goes down, then usually the price of the altcoin goes down too. But if you believe that altcoin are the right choice right now to maximize profit, then sell all your bitcoinsand start with altcoin. No advice is right for you at this point in time other than your own decision.

You have got a lot of profit mate although if you sell your holding now. But, there is something that I should know since you hold your coin, I guess you have a good faith into bitcoin and high confident to hold bitcoin unti now, I just curious what factors are behind you to continue to hold bitcoin?

I guess many people there who bought bitcoin same like you, but they will sell their bitcoin when its price touched $20.000 as previous all time high and they will buy again when $20.000 already broken. But, in your case you still hold the coin until now and you ignore some bad suggestion to sell your bitcoin and I guess I have to learn to you.

sell half and wait until BTC corrects. only then buy, so I think right now prepare to buy at low prices and sell at high prices for some time to come

No time person buy or sell Bitcoin is wrong, we have right to sell whenever we feel like to sell Bitcoin, because I don't think we have a specific time for selling, but we most know our profit we suppose to obtain or generate as market demand before selling to avoid lost, but actually selling is based on choice respective the gain and lost involves.

Yes, everyone has their choice.  For those who feel that they have reached the expected profit point, they can now sell their BTC and buy it back at the expected price as well.  However, for those who are still buying at a high enough price I don't think it's the right time to sell it right now because I really believe BTC has a very bright future for now and the price will still continue to rise.  So the choice is back to the owner.  I'm not suggesting financial advice just expressing my opinion.

This is a difficult question to answer as it will turn to financial advice. If the purpose is for-profit and not in any financial stress, you can hold for another year and see the fortune. Alts can make you earn more profits or get less than your BTC holding, it is not a game of luck but a market reaction to BTC movement

I suggest you to hold for little more, actually sold my btc few days ago and I regret it. Few days ago it seems that bitcoin price will fall but it wasn't happened. Bitcoin price still tend to rise now so it will be good for you to hold it. You should keep an eye on the chart just for getting ready if there is panic selling, but I don't think that it will happen this year. Even Elon musk tweets about bitcoin can't make bitcoin price fall.
Even if the bitcoin price tends to increase if he needs money, he can sell his bitcoin at any price. But that will be his decision and I am sure that he has a plan on what he wants to do with his bitcoin. With the price now, I think it is not good if he decides to sell bitcoin because the trend seems to want to go down or making a correction. So I think it is better to hold for a while and see what will happen to bitcoin in the next weeks.
