It is still up to you, if you are already contented on the profit that you may have if you are going to sell your btc then sell it, if you already need the money then pull it out but if you want to earn more then I suggest you have to keep hodling it, hodling for a long term is such a good way of earning money and saving it as well. We are still looking that bitcoin could reach more than this.

So I bought BTC at £9000, made a nice amount. Is it a good idea to now sell this and move that money into alt coins? or should I  sell half BTC and buy back in after alt season is finished?

What do you think?
\It's yours decide for your own , Don't let anyone dictate you for whatever you wanted because they cannot return back once you lose it.

Sell now as the price is still 56,000 and leave the market .

but if you wanted to remain here then best to Close your eyes and forget about your coins the whole year and check back in December .

Asking question can give us enough and concrete information to make our decision to something we need to do, this situation if you think you can earn and make good amount of money if you sell your bit coin, then that good decision that you can make because the reason why we are is to make money and to build our future.

Just balance the risk and possibilities, then use it to make a better decision.

I suggest you to hold for little more, actually sold my btc few days ago and I regret it. Few days ago it seems that bitcoin price will fall but it wasn't happened. Bitcoin price still tend to rise now so it will be good for you to hold it. You should keep an eye on the chart just for getting ready if there is panic selling, but I don't think that it will happen this year. Even Elon musk tweets about bitcoin can't make bitcoin price fall.

Nature of being an investor and trader at the same will surely uttering that it is not yet the best time to sell Bitcoin because we are surely that its value will continue to make it higher than what its value today of $54, 030, however, as we may wish that he shouldn't sell it right away but knowing that he buy it at £9000 i guess he could make already a profit from it though maybe he didn't just waiting for a quite some time to take a profit or maybe he's in need.
It is more important than his current position where he is. Returning capital is never the wrong decision at all, don't be too greedy because greed itself can end everything he has. I think it is an important asset to him, so securing it as well but getting a profit is more reasonable at the stage where anything is possible.

Well, if you don't need the money and you can still hold, --I say no.
Bitcoin is on the road to $100k as I have read so many prediction articles. It will perhaps follow the price of bitcoin all altcoin as we expected and there is no reason we will switch to the altcoins since all altcoins are very risky to invest in. The truly decentralized coin now is bitcoin that doesn't have manipulation by the team or any of the pump and dump group. So there is no doubt to bitcoin will have another ATH by end of this year.

The ball is in your court. You can sell now and wait for the bear market. But, if it bear market did not come, do not blame me. Bitcoin is a good asset moreover you bought yours at a good price. Selling half is not also a bad idea.

Bitcoin price is now so high and damn good position. In my personal opinion you can sell half of your Bitcoin for buying other good Altcoins. But after buying Altcoins you must research on them. Choose good and potential altcoins. If you have enough knowledge about Altcoins then selling half of your Bitcoin is good idea for you. If you haven't enough idea about Altcoins then hold your Bitcoin if you don't need money. Hope bitcoin price will increase more.

I wonder if you have sold. Bitcoin continues to grow. There was still such a price in history, so now it was a good time Smiley
The best option for cashing out your profits is whenever you think you have made gain and you need the fund otherwise it Better to hold your bitcoin for the long term to avoid feeling sorry for cashing out when the price keeps rising.

It would be better if you will just sell half of your bitcoin so that when the price pump up you can sell again another high amount of bitcoin. The other half you can use it to buy altcoins so that when the altcoin season comes you will gain a huge profit or in case you will be able to buy back again on buying other coins or maybe bitcoin, but today that I am seeing the price of the bitcoin right now I would probably say that it would be good to just hold again your bitcoin because there's a huge possibility that the price of bitcoin will make a new ath again so it would be better to hold it for a long-term investment.

Depends on your targeted income buddy, regardless how small or big your income will be, profit is profit. However given the status of the market today, pretty sure that the price soaring up high or to the moon they say, won't be impossible at all. In case that its not your main source of income, holding will be the best option here.

I agree to this user. Because in holding btc you must decide wether you are a long term or short term holder in order to have a clear and very organized experience. But in the case of bitcoin, I can say that it is not the ATH at this time. It will have a better and good profit in the next few days. Bitcoin will definitely have a new ATH. Many people will start to become rich because of the long term holders. And at the same time, many people for long term hold because they've been in the middle and might gey lost. Basic idea of bitcoin is definitely Buy in Low and Sell High.

No one will give you the right advice. Since you, yourself already know the answer, and only want to hear it from someone else. There are many answers, and there are many who advise keeping bitcoin. This is what most say because everyone understands the value of bitcoin. If you trust alternative coins, then this is more difficult. Look at how they rise along with bitcoin and fall in the same way. Everyone has different strategies, if you are confident in your actions, sell and buy alts. Only how do you know when the season begins and ends for sure?  Smiley
Every suggestion and advice we have to be able to pick which ones can be taken for ourselves because choosing coins is difficult with the exception of bitcoins which are widely recommended. Altcoins as an alternative coin are indeed now a lot of choices, but sometimes we always take the wrong steps with full risk, I personally certainly have my own way of making decisions about which altcoins to buy and sell because indeed if we compare them with others then still not. will be the same.
It is difficult to determine when the seasons will come and end.

I don't want to recommend selling it, but being able to redistribute the numbers and move on to other altcoins is a very good idea at this point. The remaining 50% of bitcoin is available to use that money to buy altcoins and leave a balance of 10% of the stablecoin waiting to buy other discounted things.

A few altcoins that I think will have strong growth, like LTC, XRP, NEO, you can take it.

You are lucky to be able to buy a certain amount of Bitcoin when the price is still at $ 9000. With the Bitcoin price now at $ 57k, very natural for you
to make the decision to sell your Bitcoin. But in my opinion, don't sell the Bitcoin that you have entirely, because Bitcoin still has the potential to go up
even higher. My advice is that your Bitcoin can be sold for about 30%, and you can buy a few altcoins. I think the very good altcoins to buy right now
are ETH, BNB and ADA.

Psychologically, it is very difficult to sell your coins when the prices are moving up. The human nature is to wait for more and more profits. I have been to cryptocurrency sector for more than 7 years now, and still it is very difficult for me to get around this behavior. So I can understand the hesitation from the part of the new users. Both BNB and ADA looks attractive right now. IMO, they represent the future of cryptocurrency. But I am not very excited with ETH in its current form. There are various issues plaguing ETH, and the developers are not interested in resolving them.

If you're going to sell bitcoin to buy some altcoins then IMO its not a good idea. Since most alts are also expensive at this time and not a right timing to engage yourself unless if you're buying new coins, not establish yet but has a cheap price.

Better to keep holding if you're not really in need of money. Nevertheless the decision is still up to you because we know whats best for our coins, just analyze and think what can benefited you more.

Don't  sell btc yet! There seems not to be any strong resisitance holding a bullish movement, the price of BtC might hit 60k and even exceed it since its still on a price discovery trail. although a technical analysis will give prospective resistance point based on trend line but then do not give it up yet.
