Everything works now even without 2fa..they solved the problem
Right.
I don't have enough balance to request a withdrawal and I also have 2FA activated.
To see if the problem with authorization emails have been solved, I requested a password reset and I can confirm that the issues have been solved and I received the authorization email without any delay.

I'm also confused why the people running freebitco.in haven't posted here to explain what's going on.

It's quite impossible.
We've been running faucets ourselves, 20 actually, for over 6-7 years now, and if one technical thing goes wrong the amount of tickets/inquiries you would be getting is enormous ... they can't respond to all inquiries.

Their best bet is to resolve the technical issues and post an announcement. Secondly, they should definitely change the way they operate, but so far they don't really seem to care.

Not even referring to the previous incidents reported about stolen/hacked accounts, take all the info posted here with a grain of salt (if you wish) and decide what to do next.

There should be a simple equation here:

No trust = No business

It is very sad that people are still being affected by the issues related to freebitco.in therefore it is not a nice experience for you but next time you post about your experiences regarding them, remember to post screenshots. Also it will be good if you could add as much context and background information as possible in order for those of us reading it to understand what happened.

I tried contacting support in so many ways but no response.  If you cant login anymore you probably lost all btc and fun allready.
My account was also change of email / password and even 2fa but i can still see it. All btc is withdrawn, and support dont react on any way. The new spokeman for support also dont react. I guess there is something bad happening atm.

They care about their reputation here on the forum...

I don't think so. In that sense I am a behaviorist. If you tell me you take your reputation seriously on the forum but don't actually do anything to take care of it, you don't take it seriously. Period. It is an example that it is better to listen to what people do than what they say.
They care about their reputation here, but I didn't say they do it in a good way.
Persistent opening of new support accounts is a kind of "washing" of the biography. The moment they receive negative or even neutral (with a negative reason) feedback, they soon decide to create a new account.
I have already written about the mutual addition of FBin accounts between themselves on the trust list. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.64295307
One of the accounts somehow ended up with DT2 status, so this may be an attempt to abuse and transfer DT status to related accounts.

Only someone who cares about their reputation here does such things, which does not mean that it is the right way.

I'm also confused why the people running freebitco.in haven't posted here to explain what's going on.  Seems like they should give folks a heads up on the current situation, and maybe estimate how long before things get fixed or at least usable again.  Back when TheQuin was around, issues were handled better I thought.  If freebitco.in cares about their reputation on this forum, they oughta be working harder to protect it.
Yeah, under TheQuin issues were handled much better. Not sure what happened later, maybe they just grown into such huge website that could afford to not care much about their reputation on Bitcointalk forum and other platforms. They hired new support guy, but seems that he didn't improved situation much.

This is beginning to look ominously bad for freebitco.in especially after the previous months of reports upon reports of issues. It really does not look good at all when going forward from this when it relates to trusting them. They quite clearly are not even posting about the true state of what is happening behind the scenes therefore the best advice would be to simply avoid using their website. Put it this way, their problems have been going on for far too long to keep giving them the benefit of any doubt.

Some users are reporting that they don't receive authorization emails and they can't withdraw their fund.
Now, I don't have enough balance to request a withdrawal, but to check whether I can receive authorization emails or not, I just tried to reset my password and I can confirm that there are again issues with authorization emails.

I updated OP with some information about the recent issues with authorization emails.

I am not even able to log-in  Smiley
It says "incorrect credentials" and when I request password reset it returns error 500 (and, therefore, no email comes to my inbox).

To make it funny: I am still getting daily promotional emails from the site.

Well, from what I remember, Freebitco.in has never had a reliable support team, they rarely respond to emails or fix some issues related to the account and profile. In the past, even without their support team everything was working well, deposits and withdrawals. It’s been a while now since I have been following this case, and I have some reward points in my account almost 100,000 to be allowed for exchanging them. It is more than a year since my last withdrawal. I’m asking you guys if I shouldn’t bother myself to achieve the minimum amount for exchange and trying to withdraw, or I will have a chance for that some of bitcoins.

This topic is what reminded me of having points in it, and at the same time feeling bad to see this happening as one of the best and first faucets of Bitcoin.

They seem to have the same problem again.

It's unclear why they don't appear here, explain the current situation, estimate the time it will take to fix everything or at least restore functionality. They care about their reputation here on the forum, but they make little effort to defend it.
I've seen similar things before and unfortunately, I don't think this is going in the right direction. I will be more surprised if they successfully recover the whole thing than if they close the service.

edit: just changed my opinion on the flag from oppose to support

What happened to the promised professional customer support team... Have they abandoned us already

I don't know how many active users they currently have (it's certainly not a small number), but considering that they have thousands of dissatisfied users who are looking for answers to their questions, I don't think that even a customer service of 100 agents working non-stop would help them.

I withdrew everything I had from their service, so even though I still use it, my trust in them is very low.

I messaged CSFBC on July 04, 2024, 06:42:24 AM

I never did get a reply.

I actually sent CSFBC a copy of a message I sent to TheQuin on May 15, 2024, 12:21:42 PM

I never got a reply from TheQuin either.
