If I often lose when gambling, of course I will be angry and hate why I experienced this, even though what I want is a big win and that will definitely be experienced by other gamblers because what is experienced or felt like this is something that. ordinary and unusual. aimed at gamblers. However, it does not rule out the possibility that I will gamble again, but with the warning that I have to be more careful and still control myself well when I want to gamble and I will use this experience as a lesson for myself.

This behaviour is what makes you a responsible gambler, when you're learning from your mistakes and improving on your behaviour as a gambler you'll soon notice you'll be enjoying yourself when you're gambling. We cannot determine what the outcome of our games are but we shouldn't blame ourselves for every loss that we get and put ourselves into depression. Some losses there's nothing we can do about it as gambling is an activity that can give you profits or loss.

Every gamblers losses sometimes, but it's how we handle this losses is what determined if we're responsible gamblers or not. Some individuals will immediately chase after their losses when they lose but a responsible gambler won't do that but to learn. Regardless of how we hate it when losing don't take your own life as some gamblers do when they lose. To prevent this don't over spend when gambling.

With responsible behavior we will be in control when gambling because this behavior is good to carry out in daily activities, especially when gambling responsibly we will also be consistent in playing time and how much money we will spend fairly and not excessively.

Agree, we have to be aware and accept defeat if this happens. We will not chase victory too much by continuing to gamble. Sometimes we also need self-control to perfect it and it is possible that we will not experience big risks from gambling.

Hating myself? Never done that when I lose, maybe I regretted my decision but it was never a hate. However, I would just be able to accept it within 24 hours as I don't want it to bother me on my upcoming session in gambling. I made a mistake, I learn from it, that's the only process but sometimes when I go overboard, I need to stop for awhile to evaluate my mistakes and reflect on it.

We are human so we are prone to make mistakes, and since gambling does involve our emotion, it's important that we are not weak, otherwise, we will easily get addicted and it could possibly ruin our life. But let us not allow it will happen to our lives, best thing to do all the time is, learn how to forgive ourselves.
Some people will be liberal and not hate themselves but another part will be frightened by the flawed version of themselves as they indulge in gambling more, like it was a moment where their regrets were voiced and their repentance was expressed but even so, the feeling of disgust should not be maintained, hating more and more only makes us become a more damaged version of ourselves. As you mentioned, it is a lesson and an improvement in personality, each shell of the buggy version will be the maturity of a future version with powerful fixes
I don't know the reason why gamblers should hate themselves because of losing if not for the fault of the gambler himself from the beginning. You do not just gamble senselessly, but if you did, then you can blame yourself or even hate yourself if that is what is nice for you to do so that you will not repeat it again. So why not? Gambling rightly has approaches to it, you can't miss it if you follow the right approaches and due process, and you can only miss it if you do otherwise. Missing it entails the fact that the gambler is gambling anyhow, and some will be gambling within gambling itself, which makes it so ill.

Gamblers must have certain gambling styles and approaches, and if these approaches are good enough, they will bring about better gambling results and even pleasant experiences for the gamblers. But in the absence of this, it will be losses and mismanagement of the gambling account, so no gambler should be exonerated in this regard. They must be blamed and they can be bitter with themselves to enforce a change if that is what it takes. All that matters is for them to stop making mistakes and treat gambling as it should be done. Or else, they will continue to lose in their folly.

I've never gambled and lost and it's gotten to the point where I hate myself for being so unlucky, even when I'm on a losing streak. Because I thought that it was just gambling, what did I expect from gambling, especially since most of the games I played were slots, so I understood that the percentage of my losses was higher than my wins. So when I'm really unlucky, I usually stop for a while until I can calm down and start playing again.
There's really no need to hate ourselves over this, we're just unlucky. We don’t know at what point luck will overtake us and whether it will happen at all. Also, we cannot influence this, so why then experience these negative emotions, we need to be above primitive emotions, and this can only be achieved with reason and calculation. Of course, it is difficult to fight your emotions, I understand, because this is inherent in us by nature and there is nothing wrong with it if we cannot defeat them, but next time, if you lose, try to control it more than before. By hating ourselves, we only slowly destroy ourselves and slide down, and we can also spit it out on the people around us, which will definitely affect our relationship with them. I wouldn’t want this, and I don’t think you would either.

Hated is a strong word, thankfully I never hated myself for gambling, I mean if we are talking about just gambling, otherwise I do end up hating myself everyday lol. But when we are talking about just gambling, I do not gamble all that much to hate myself.

The worst situation was losing just a bit of money, something I really needed that's true, but in grand scheme of things, it wasn't really half of my salary, I have never lost that much, so when you do not lose even half of your monthly income, you lose less than that, it means no matter how much you needed that money, you end up recovering. This was of course like ten years ago or so, which means that it has no valid feelings left about that one anymore. Be careful, bet small.
Hahaha, that good because you never feel regret and whatever the outcome of gambling, even if you lose and lose certain amount of money, it will still make you happy.
An attitude of self-loathing will usually appear when big failure occurs and this is normal condition for anyone to experience.
Many gamblers blame themselves or even blame others for their losses but this is mistake and if it continues it can also have bad impact.
As gambler, you must have a patient attitude to accept everything that happens in gambling and everything can start when the aim of gambling is to have fun.

Whether we have lot or how little monthly income we have, we still have to have limits when we decide to gamble because otherwise it could get out of control and cause us to make careless actions such as increasing the number of bets.
This is not only related to income in one or two months but also in the long term, when gamblers are used to increasing bets then every time they gamble they will definitely do the same thing and this is clearly very detrimental.
If you can accept it, it not problem and what actually happens is that it is still very rare for gamblers to be able to accept any of their losses.

I believe this is not strange to regular gamblers. We often joke with each other that once you fall into a streak of bad luck, it will be difficult for you to escape, you will only lose and lose. At that time, you almost just threw money into gambling unconsciously, without thinking about anything else.
I have also experienced this situation many times, I once placed 20 consecutive bets on only one over, but it only came out under, and countless other times were the same, also a bit disappointed about myself, but why only appeared 1 door, when the probability is always 50/50? What I learned later is that you should not stubbornly continue to play when you have had more than 3-5 consecutive losses, stopping and coming back the next day will be a wise choice to escape the losing streak.

I cannot see how... "coming back the next day" ..will improve your luck?

Yes, I think casinos change the RTP, so you might come back the next day and the casino might have flipped the "happy" switch... and you might win 1% more than the previous day. (Slight adjustments)

So it's not your luck that has changed, just the slight adjustment to the RTP. (Some casinos request this from their game providers, but they can do it with their own original games)

Sports betting is a beast on it's own... and it's influenced by 1000s of factors. (Odds/weather/mood/bad intel or data... etc.)

If they can learn from their experience or from what they have experienced, it can give them maturity and a mature way of thinking because this is gambling and there will be times when we lose. Losing when playing gambling may be more common than winning, so they must be prepared for the risk of losing their money. If not, they will only hate themselves because they have spent a lot of money but haven't been able to win any money. That's the point of learning self-control and using limits when gambling so that we don't gamble excessively. We must be able to use gambling properly to avoid feeling disappointed, stressed or even frustrated.

Every gambler who wants to win indeed have great hope and confidence in himself to be able to win a large enough amount of money hoping that luck will come to him even though it is clear that there is no definite belief in winning at gambling because gambling is full of uncertainty. Thinking about risk is the key so that we don't take too much risk so that we avoid being greedy and also have the ambition to win big, let alone hope in gambling because this is just a game full of risk.

Most gamblers who don't accept losing are like that, they try to recover their losses by continuing to gamble even though instead of being able to recover, their losses increase. It is very difficult to recover losses. If you are not careful, your balance can be drained due to chasing losses too much which causes you to become addicted to gambling and Once again, never hate yourself, even though you always lose when gambling, it means you are unlucky. Stopping for a while is like saving yourself from misleading gambling.

It's true that there is no definite belief about winning at gambling. In my opinion, this is something that is still a mystery and will forever be a mystery because no one can guess accurately whether the gambling they do will result in a win. Some gamblers don't think about the risks involved, I mean the risks involved in gambling are often ignored, even though if they could see this side maybe they wouldn't experience big losses.

I think by them recovering the loss it means they can't see the risky side of gambling. also I think when every time they lose gambling they regret it, but the regret is still outweighed by the hope they have of winning big. and in every regretted loss they may hate themselves for not being able to control themselves well. it is true what you said that saving yourself from gambling should be done consciously not to gamble excessively,  because it is not a completely profitable action.
Yep, it's true that gambling is a mysterious thing because no one can win for sure even if they have used any strategy because gambling is a game that has a smaller chance of winning than losing, if you win then it's money from other people's losses. Casino owners create gambling to provide games that are money-based but fun for their users. By considering it as entertainment and managing expenses well, it will not be a big risk for the gamblers themselves.

Yes, some gamblers sometimes ignore the risk of losing so that they only realize it when they start losing quite a lot of money and in the end regret having ignored this risk. Even though they hope that if they win they can recover their losses, gambling winnings are not certain, we don't know how big the winnings are and I don't think it's enough to cover the losses they have experienced so far. So even though they hate themselves because they often experience losses, but still they could not restore the situation to normal.

Overall, mistakes are useful lessons. Embracing and learning from them helps us evolve. Indeed, ruminating on past mistakes hinders progress. Instead, knowing what caused these failures helps us make better decisions.

When gambling, this mindset is especially important. Each loss has been sobering but informative. I learnt to like gambling and establish limits. Being in the moment, experiencing the thrill, and understanding when to back off. It maximises delight and minimises losses.

Sharing my experiences helps turn past mistakes into collective wisdom. Why our mistakes can help others, especially in gambling, is fascinating. Acknowledging this can make gambling healthier and more fun. The game is about learning and having fun, not losing.
Experiencing mistakes is a lesson for us so that we can change our lives and correct those mistakes, and it can mean that we are getting something that can help us develop even better. Reflecting on past mistakes is okay, but we shouldn't get caught up in those mistakes so that we can't get up again. However, we must be able to recover from that mistake to fix it.

Regarding gambling, when we experience a mistake, we must be able to learn where the error lies and try to correct it so that we will not experience the same mistake again. This is important to mature our thinking so we can use gambling properly. We have to learn to control ourselves and understand how to use gambling well so that we don't make mistake after mistake.

Yes, we often share our experiences, whether good or bad, so that people can learn from our experiences and they don't have to experience what we experienced. However, we must be able to gain something from other people's experiences or our own so that we can be better at using gambling as entertainment.

mistakes are valuable lessons that don't need to be regretted or even blamed yourself, it's not necessary.
with mistakes we have a very good experience to become a better self and if there is a gambler who hates himself because of a previous mistake which made him lose all his money I think it is not necessary and instead it should be used for learning and take something positive not to repeat it in the future.
every gambler here, I'm sure they all had bad experiences in the past, making them feel very guilty for making that mistake, but I'm sure that after making a mistake in gambling, they become very careful when betting and always remember their mistakes in the past so they don't repeat it again.
but if some of them still repeat the same mistakes, I'm sure they are not ordinary gamblers but excessive gamblers or gambling addicts who ignore everything related to the risks they will get.

there is no point in regretting the mistakes we made because we gambled because of our own choice and when something happens we should be able to accept the risk.
We should be able to learn from our mistakes so we don't repeat the same mistakes. But if we make different mistakes, there is still no need to regret it because everyone who can learn from their mistakes will develop into a better person. We don't need to blame ourselves for the mistakes we make because it might not allow us to get up to correct those mistakes. We must try to get up and correct the mistakes and try to understand where the mistakes lie so that we can avoid them. That is a good lesson for us, especially if we can learn from those mistakes so that we can share our experiences with other people so that they don't make the same mistakes as us. And even though the mistake is due to losing money from gambling, we will see that we can reduce the loss without making it even bigger. We can limit the use of larger amounts of money so that the losses will not become larger. Many gamblers have made mistakes, but only a few are willing to learn from their mistakes, so only a few can use gambling better.

So there is no point in regretting mistakes because mistakes help us recover from those mistakes to be better in the future. And with these mistakes, we can learn to accept the risks of gambling because when gambling, losing money is a normal thing.

Yes, every human being should also be aware that every time you fail, don't ever try to blame yourself because people always make mistakes, especially in gambling, even though I have played gambling better than before, I still sometimes make mistakes, everything needs a proper process. not short of being better, the point is never to blame yourself because that will only lower your self-confidence and have a bad effect on us when gambling.

At least for every mistake we make, we still gamble responsibly. In any case, every mistake can be an important lesson to be better, it's okay to make mistakes because we are only ordinary people who often make mistakes and what you say is true. We have to forgive ourselves and always take lessons from whatever failures we have in gambling and not make it something that makes us continue to feel guilty and ultimately makes us continue gambling because we want to recover from our losses and mistakes, ultimately becoming addicted to gambling.  Wink

Yeah, losing is more common than win. Recognizing the risk doesn't equal accepting loss. Game comprehension is key. The beast accumulates loses. Success requires judgments, discipline, and, dare I say, knowledge

Only if the gamblers know this that losing in gambling is a part and parcel in gambling, then for sure they will never ever hate themselves of losing in gambling or blame themselves for tough luck. Also if one gambles responsibly with a reasonable amount of money, then even a lot won't have much bad effect on his financial health as well as emotional health.

You highlight addiction, a major issue none can ignore. Hope and despair fuel it. Now we pivot—it's not about winning or chasing; it's about playing wisely and within your means. The golden rule. Every gambler can hold or fold. No shame in leaving. That's strategy, not loss. Avoid glorifying irresponsibility for the love of the game. Gambling should be fun, not life-destroying. Play smart, safe

Well, gambling addiction is the next level and we cannot presume what will be the reaction of the gambler who loses money in gambling. The gambler must realize that any act of irresponsible gambling can cost them their money and even their relationship with their family and friends can become bad.
An irresponsible gambling can take your life from heaven to hell in no time and even the gamblers won't realize what has changed so quickly and by the time they realize, it will be too late.

What else can we do to ourselves due to hatred because we had the experience of loss while gambling, don't need know right from the beginning that gambling has it's own risk of winning or loosing, what else then can we do to ourselves than to take heart and console self for more caution against the next time, I know some people have witness being a severe trouble before for this kind of reckless gambling attitude of theirs, some go to the extent of commiting suicide when they couldn't bare it anymore, we ha e to watch the way we gamble before it lands us into trouble.

In your entire gambling journey, have you ever had a series of losses to the extent you hated yourself so much for being so unlucky?
In trading, Yes, but in gambling, No. Haven't I been losing in gambling? I have, but not much, and it is due to good plans and budgets. From the beginning, I had this mindset that gambling is not the avenue through which I would make it in life, so whatever I am doing in gambling is for two reasons. The first is that, it could be for entertainment, I like to just play for the fun of it at times and it has been so good when I am truly in the mood for gambling for that entertainment which will not be able to be substituted for movies and other ways of keeping myself busy. And for the entertainment part, I keep the wagering low, so that I will not because of having fun losing big. That would also be foolish.

Though I lose my casino money which is majorly for fun at times, but most times, it takes time before losing it, so it always serves its purpose. While the second reason is for money-making. I do this in my sports betting, but still, I do not risk senselessly. I can deposit $250 and plan to bet with it 10 times. This has always kept my gambling out of the pressure that many often face. Not only that, I manage my gambling portfolio very well and make withdrawals sometimes too, so all these reduce the tension in my betting even as I focus on my main jobs and do not think of gambling as a big deal to earn for me.
