Do I always sell higher than the purchase price when I get a list on the exchange?
this thing mostly happening with a bad coins or bad managed coins. The only good project which I live this is IUNGO which It's still trading below my ICO purchase price. Still not thinking about to sell it coz project is good I believe it will recover
Choose the one who convince you the most, believe in the project and watch it gain! That's the best approach. Nothing is sure.

There are many coins, the price of which has multiplied several times after ICO. If the project is strong people keep this coin. I never sell coins at once, because I know that in a few months it will bring me more profit. But now the market is oversaturated with ICO projects and many people instantly flip from one project to another. That's why prices fall even at pretty well projects.
Yeah, investing in ICOs maybe the same risky as buying tokens after getting listed on exchanges, Everybody should evaluate by himself, and there is no guarantee from risks.

It is because people are afraid after listing and people are panic when the price is decreasing. Most of the ICO are giving profit in the begining after listing and people who bought in the ICO are dumping to make profits. This makes to decrease the ICO price.
Don't be afraid of it, the price of a token falls that certainly if want to wait sometimes certainly token will recover and go up again the price is compared after ICO is completed.
Be patient and if you token has a good prospect, just wait and hodl them. When investors coming and the project are widely known there will be a time that the price will be recovered and rises up.

That was a real hard fall, if you can still hold and you believe this will recover then you should be strong. Really, there are times that price will fall hard, just like what happen to NXT, it dump hard, pump hard, and now it dump.
The only difference is your coin is not yet listed in a big exchange, so the volume itself is already a problem.
About 2 years ago I participated in Icos, before they almost all went up as soon as they launched, then changed ... when they launch the price, it falls even more than the value that is paid at ICO, then it fits. Centra and Bowhead
