Imposition of ORder = Escalation of Chaos
November 15, 2013, 10:10:15 AM
Here's an updater. I haven't updated for a while because I feel it is no longer interesting seeing these consecutive all-time highs, as it's a sea of bold. However, if you want an update, feel free to ask. Don't pay me for it; this takes less than 5 seconds to generate. I'll look into automating it in the future.

Thanks a lot! So there is one last remnant of the last bubble still on the list and with each day that passes without a huge crash it gets bumped down.

Maybe you could do an automated version of this in the vein of chartbuddy? In a dedicated thread or in the Wall observer? The Wall observer thread is a lounge for people with nothing else to do but to stare at all things Bitcoin all day anyway so they might as well have something to talk about  Cheesy

Yep, that storm sure came faster than I expected!

Laziness. It is a logarithmic-trendline fitting exercise, and it does not change anything. But if you have the monthly VWAs, (starting June 2013 in Stamp), I could replace the values. Does your month end on Friday or the last day of the month?

Months in my dataset start on the first day and end on the last day. To be honest, I do not see the point of ending months on a Friday, but I am not a financial analyst so I have little experience with how they tend to do it.

Here's the full dataset, which switches from Gox to Stamp in June 2013. Note that June 2011 is incomplete due to Gox shutting down for a few days.

It's so nice to be in the early stage of a bubble! everyones so happy  Grin

I've witnessed every one of Bitcoin's many bubbles. From my experience, a bubble is always in the "early stages" until the moment it pops. Just some food for thought Wink.

Don't be so sure. It could shit all over us tomorrow. Always have some fiat waiting... never 100% in or 100% out.  Grin

(And buy nice things with the profits every once in a while... so that if it does all come tumbling down, you'll at least have something to show for it...)

Prediction: That #2 spot from April will need to get bumped off the top 20 list before we "crash".

That's quite a safe prediction. I am envisioning a nice, smooth rise to 4 digits over several weeks' time.

Perhaps we can be friends after all.

+1 We agree on something.

holy cow guys, calm down and put it back in your pants.

we'll probably bounce off the ATH, back to 230 240 for a day then maybe break through it. we may crash from $300 down to $200 or lower. this rally is fast.

I remember posts just like this when we were at $25 earlier this year ...  just take a zero off of your figures Roll Eyes

And there were a lot of people who sold at $27-30 calling the top  Grin
