I don't actually know, but it can mean the top level, then A, B, C, D, and then F tier or grade. Maybe it means Super. *quick search* Neat. From Wikipedia [1] "'S' tier may stand for "Special", "Super", or the Japanese word for "Exemplary" (秀, shū), and originates from the widespread use in Japanese culture of an 'S' grade for advertising and academic grading. It looks to me like the r in Kraken is smaller than Toronto.

So the volume weighted average is (total USD volume of all trades) / (total BTC volume of all trades)

With the ongoing volume of BTC purchases by the ETFs, I cannot accept that BTC prices are going to stay down significantly, absent some real concrete evidence of drying up of demand... so let's see how the first few days of this week plays out in terms of the additional sucking up of the BTC supply...and even if we were to have one week that would be low volume, I probably would need to see low volume for more than just one week.. but hey, I tend to be a lagging indicator, anyhow.... in terms of my own ways of thinking about some of these BTC price dynamics matters.

Another thing is that there is almost nothing unusual about BTC prices pushing upwards (whether we are talking about ATHs or just otherwise, the BTC price does not tend to get stuck at the absolute top of the range, so it will tend to push up and then it may well correct back down 3-8% or maybe some other amount, and then spend a little time consolidating at a little bit of a lower point before resuming its upward journey.. and I cannot see anything different in our current range that seems to be 6% to 12% from the top.

Even if you haven't figured it out. There is green there, and maybe the green could also have bold.. since it is a little bit difficult to see sometimes, it is not always very obvious that it is green.

I'm doing it manually, but I agree, next time it will be bold and underlined for visibility.

Selling pressure in the market is always there, but with the strong potential of these large Funds, they have more than enough power to buy Bitcoins which are being selling. Maybe they still want to create fear for those still holding Bitcoin, make them to sell it all.

How many of Canada's Bitcoiners use exchanges all that often. Many of us have been involved for so long that we don't trade unnecessarily and when we do there's a good chance it's going to be over the counter or under the table. Most probably simply hodl.

How many BCT members come from Canada as compared to Singapore or some of the other countries on Coinhills' list?

It probably depends on what "we" might be wanting to see in the data - and if they are reflective of actual BTC trading activities going on in the world. I would be more concerned about if trading in any particular currency is fake to be more important to figuring out its non-importance rather than including for reasons that might not be easy to justify...

Do we want to limit the number to 5 currencies?.. is there something meaningful in terms of choosing based on something other than volume? The Coinhill list seems to be trade volume that is based on all 89 exchanges that are listed through its site; it is not based on any particular exchange.. if there might be some other way of figuring out trade volume but yeah, you are not seeming to like the idea of trade volume in terms of importance...

I find this thread much more important than the daily Chartbuddy recap in the WO. That doesn't even reference prices, just bids and asks.

I asked Richy to include the final actual trade value in CB, top center between the final bids and asks but I guess he's been too busy.

You always seem to find the time.

Thankfully I've also learned to keep backups whenever making a change so rollbacks are possible. It's still a little messed up as we can all see.
