It is safe to leave Bitcoin on the 1st place! He's just out of the competition.
Another 2 places you can give tokens ERC 20.
Ethereum can remain in the lead if the issue of scalability is resolved.
EOS is already catching up, and it has a transaction rate hundreds of times higher.

My top 3 predictions would be:
1. BTC
2. ETH
3. POLY

I am very bullish on the polymath tokens as they are targeting security tokens, and if US and other countries start making all the tokens as security tokens then there will be huge demand for POLY. Great potential coin and currently at very low price.

Why people still believe in centralized crap like EOS?
They have many bugs in their mainnet, I am only waiting for another bug which will cause that many investors will loose another money/coins here.

For me, the top 3 coins in 2020 will be the NEO, Ethereum and also the Bitcoin because it has a good team, good potential, good community and also a good project on their coin. It is the most trusted coin for me based on my observation about their whitepaper. Try to look at their site too so you can have a lot of information about their coin. This is only based on my own understanding. Always remember that you should always do your own research.

top 3 Altcoin for 2020 I highly recommend to use Ethereum, Cardano, and Waves. these three points I have noticed and have an ever-increasing development. so it is very able to rely on these three coins as a coin in the future and generate much greater profits.

But I personally disagree with the choice of your top three coins in the year 2020,
because I think the three coins will be occupied by bitcoin, ethereum and neo,

Frankly speaking, Nobody can predict exact correct scenario of the 2018 end. So its far difficult to predict top 3 coins of 2020. But according to me, it would be BTC, ETH and EOS

Lol, I dont think this market can alive until 2020, The market is bad now. But if I have to choose top 3 coins in 2020 I will choose ETH, NEO and XRP.

I see bitcoin still retaining the number one with a very high price margin above the top second which will be etheruem. The third is not too clear to me for now, maybe litecoin, dogecoin or trippki Grin

it's hard to predict such things, but if you dream up, I'm half-prof these 3 IOTA ,RIPPLE and ETHEREUM. in my opinion, they are the most promising of all that is now on the market. they have a fairly low price and a high probability that the price will rise until the end of 2018

All are predictions. But I also have my own predictions about which coins will dominate in the next time. I think that there are not any coins can alternate two leading positions of Bitcoin and Etherium. At the third position, may be NEO, and the fourth is Dash or Monero
