Interesting idea , There is couple of things I do not understand , decentralization might make the process cheaper that is true but how it will make it with higher quality ? can you please explain more on this area .

P.S : I like how the project team is wearing T-shirts with project name on it that is awesome Smiley and nice verification

And what's the problem to do the slicing on your own, on the same computer you made that 3D model?

Do you need bounty manager ? so you can contact me with more details. By the way, I want to find out more about your services.
How could blockchain be utilized in additive manufacturing to support supply chain scale and product innovation and add value to the digital thread?
In our project we use blockchain to decentralize slicing. Thus we can help to reduce time and money costs. Our target audience are small/medium 3d printing studios or individuals, who are printing items, but don't necessarily do the 3d models on their own. Usually they don't have powerful computers, so the time costs for slicing are a big deal for them.
Also blockchain can be used to protect copyright issues, that is very important for printing parts of equipment or health care items.

I enjoyed the idea of this project and I came across the website about the project and was very attracted to investors. I hope the development team will do well to develop the project because in the future I can choose this project as my favorite ICO investment portfolio
Thanks! We're working hard to keep up to your expectations!

Slicing is a process to transform a 3D model into an instruction for printing it layer by layer or slice by slice Wink
Yes, you're right, that is basically how it works.

That's the best slicing explanation, thanks!

I always see the news that 3d printers become cheaper or better, or faster. Thechnoloies are developing, so there will be more demand on 3D infrastructure services like slicing!

White paper is simple and understandable. True, the project is suitable for those who can build 3D models. You need to unite with some service that suggests building a model on a user's request, or you can develop such a service yourself so that ordinary people like me can submit a verbal description and get a good thing as a result.

Thanks for the comment! Yes, we'll consider this ideas for further development. It could fit the task exchange concept very well!

What a kind of interesting idea, isn't it? I hope this project will gonna be a success, cheer!

Thank you!

Well, it's an interesting idea. I like that you can make 3d printing more accessible. Now it's not as widespread as it could be.

That partnership program must be a good start to attract new members to the project.

Right, 3DES is quite special for ICO projects. Good that they won't have many competitors, while demand on 3D services is growing!

That's right! We're working with 3D printing because there's a big future for this technology.

Sounds very interesting! When and how can we try it?

MVP will be ready in March, everyone is welcome to join the free testing.

Guys, you still should think a lot about advertising and marketing to take off.

Yes, we reserve the special budget for marketing.

It's quite clear that guys have invented an improvement to 3d printing technology. But how exactly blockchain technology deals with it?
Blockchain is used to decentralize the process, make it cheaper and of higher quality. And later it might be used for copyright protection as well.

How are you going to protect users from fraud??
An arbitrage node will protect all users from unfair actions and fraud.

From your whitepaper:
Quote
For a low-power computer it may take dozens of minutes or even hours.
Most modern computers can slice models within seconds. You're creating a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. Download Cura and slice a model and see how long it takes.
Still there are many low power computers, more than you actually think. Also, soon it will be common to control 3d printers using a smartphone.

Project looks interesting. I subscribed to the mail newsletter. I am waiting for MVP with curiosity. Is there a certain date? When can we try?
We'll announce the testing start soon!

Hello! I was searching for other 3D projects, and surprisingly only 3DES is focusing 3D printing like this. I found some projects that are going to print there own stuff, but that's totally different.
