How you can do day trade if you are loss in holding?
From this i can see that you are not experience holder and also trader so improve knowledge first before doing day trade.
Loss is bad but good to learn from mistake so dont always think its 100% bad.

Looking for gigs

We do all want to recover from our losses since the mid-January crash until now. Before the crash, my Trade.io tokens were worth almost $4k in value, and now down to almost $400, which is a 1000% loss because of being too much greedy. I believe we will recover because Bitcoin and other altcoins are yet to be massively adopted, and pretty soon there will be a bull run within June onward.

Recovering the loss? Everybody want to do it mate but now we can not do anything unless waiting and patient.
You can try to buy more in the deep and hold the first asset so we can get double profit if the price bullish.

I think we have a good year in 2017, the crisis happens this yearn and until now we have witness a dropping price of every assets.
Let's continue to believe and be more strong to hold that one day the bullish trend will arrive, and that time if we are strong enough, we can hold

Just wait and be patient , everyday have it's rise and fall , hold your coins for the perfect time to sell.

If you sell yout alts now and start to trade again, the market is still the same at a bearish trend. Basically you'll be wasting your money there. I agree that your best option would be to hold out. Most of us have no better option and we can't do anything unless the market recovers.

as far as I know there are many ways to recover your lost assets because you sell them at cheap price, one of them you can follow bounty campaign in this forum to get more trading capital.

I will never do that anymore, not right now, i actually done that before when i started in trading, because of panic mode, i sell all my altcoins and regret it after a month because the price started to rise.

You’re not the only one that has lost money in this, there are lots of others. If you have altcoins, there is still no problem, all you still have to do is hold it and wait till the price increases. One thing for sure is that whenever the price of Bitcoin starts to increase, altcoins will follow as well and will start increasing. Selling your altcoins just because you are losing money is not the right thing to do. You should have patience, don’t trade everything due to being desperate. Be calculative.

Yes. I am simply ignoring my losses by holding my positions until I am getting to profit regions. It became possible for me to hold only because of I am trading only established assets like bitcoins. Otherwise holding finitely will not at all possible.

We should hold until what happens next, because if you dump it at early stages while there's a great possibility of price to soar again to higher price then why decide quickly. Sometimes ignoring our losses definitely gives us a heartaches and stressful days after you see the price in the next coming days that it eventually rises back to top price. Lets just take that as a lessons when we did something a failure, because its not easy to handle situations like this especially when it involves decision making which is so hard to do in trading with volatile value of a currency.

When you are in need of money these kind of situation would really stress us out when you do see that your folio is on a very big decrease when it comes to percentage but as same as you said we should not dump no matter what as long we are still holding our coins it cant still be considered as loss.Just try to avoid to look into your folio to avoid stress and might able to make decisions if you look to often.

I think this moment in time the market is dead. Dead in a sense that trading and selling dont give much benefit to traders and sellers. I dont sell my coins i hold everything. I dont want to lose so i patiently wait. But not everyone can wait, some need money so we cant blame them.

it depends which coin you buy, if that coin has a potential i suggest you for hold it. because sell your coins when you loss that's mean you lose your money, it is my principal.
at least wait until your amount get back and then you can sell them.

Ideally, you should try and purchase Alts again in order to average out your losses.
Suppose you bought a coin for 10$ and its price has fallen to 1$, so, instead of selling yours for 1$, you should buy more coins for 1$ each in order to bring your net buying price to 5.5$ a coin. This way, once the coin reaches 6$ again, you would be in profit again.
I feel this is the best strategy to recover your losses.

sometimes hold is not too good for our trading results. we must be able to decide when to hold and why it is done. even sometimes the decision to close the transaction will be better even with the loss.

ofc we must know coins which we hold. because holding is not applicable to all coins
then we can take a decision to hold or not

Recovering your losses are not easy task. You should improve your knowledge first for you to use new strategies and techniques in order to make profit in the trading world.
