This is certainly not the proper time to retrieve any loss you have come about by selling your altcoins. Doing this will only magnify your dilemma. I will not recommend trading because i do not have any slightest idea of how it's done. A more sensible thing to do during this bearish market is to buy more to increase whatever there is in your portfolio and hold.

Every trader or even holder face this because even in holding you can be scared and stop holding when you are already -50% of your initial holdings but of course in trading that can be worse if you don't know how and what to do in that time in the market.

you are right, it is very difficult to cover the losses when the market like this, although you do switching not necessarily will be able to cover your losses

plese you need more patient to recover your asset. if switching your asset , you need cut loss to buy it.but how about if your new asset not profitable too.you will suffering double loss.

I was hoping that bitcoin price will recover the price soon i we can start again so far i dont have enough money to buy more so i will hold my money for now and i will sell the before the end of this year.

If you were fast enough and sold your altcoins at the beginnin of the correction, you had luck and decimate your loss. Congratulations. I thougt its just a small dip thats why i dont sold my coins. But now i see i should. But actually its to late, some of my altcoin in my portfolio lost 90% of value since then, and to sell now would be a really stupid idea. SO now you can start again with trading to get your profit back. But just think were in the bearmarket and it will not be so easy anymore!

I think what you are saying is we just need to buy more at lower price but i think that's a good strategy especially if you have faith in crypto markets that it will recover. I always do that to average my investment and putting it on a good base price and i think this is the best way if we have trust on our investment. We just need to wait for the price to rise and waiting is the game.

You are right but I think time people do not want to accept that, most of the people that invested at the end of the year wanted to make some fast profits and now they are looking at holding for years in order to recover their money. If you want to recover from your lost, do not ever think to sell your altcoin now because it will only mean that you surrender your chance of gaining back what you have lost

This is normal to be felt since we are just human being at all but having a self control on these kind of situation would really help you out to avoid further loss.We wont lose nothing if we dont sell out our holdings.Recovering is possible by just holding it out. Better is to stick with one’s own coin and that coin should be either bitcoin or any from the top altcoins. The reason is they all are believed to recover after every dump and bitcoin is the most amazing one

if the price of altocin a few months ago decreased, then why you think to sell it, it is not justified. if you sell it with an unstable current condition, the possibility of getting a small profit, because the price of altocin is not possible at this time. if the current price declines you should hold for a moment, until finally the price of altocin bounced up again. that is if in my opinion. if you are experiencing a loss do not immediately despair, and consider the loss is ugliness. think of it as a lesson for you for the future. stay patient in the face of unstable market circumstances, that's the way I use when experiencing an unstable market situation.
