Hi gusknure,

can you give me some more information please. Version, Algo, pool?

Also, if you have some space left on your HD you can create a logfile that conrains more information. To create that just add the option -logpool to the commandline. TT-Miner will then create a logfile with information of the communication with the pool that could be helpful.

Thanks.

Version - TT-Miner_2.1.4
Pool - mintpond.com
Algo - MTP
-logpool enabled
Switched on 2.1.5

Thanks, too tired yesterday evening and brainless: yes I missed the the subfolder "algos" from the zip file....

1080ti: 3.4 MH/s miner side (core +110, mem +0, power 80%),
1070: 1.75 MH/s miner side (core +160, mem +0, power 80%), will see later on pool side

Hi cirlama,

can you please check that you got the subfolder 'Algos' out of the zip file? Your reports sounds to me that you got only the files out of the main folder and not the algo folder with it files.

Maybe the best is to download again and make sure that you extract all files & folders out of the zip file. The file for the cuda10 version of MTP is 'AlgoMTP.dll'. Make sure that is file exists in the algo folder.

Hope that helps? Let me know if that was the problem and if it works now.

Thx

Hi, I get this (v2.1.5, w10, latest driver, and latest CRT are installed):

Active algo: Unknown
Found one CUDA device
* #0 PCI 0:1    GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (6.1)       CoreClk 1683 MHz | MemClk 5200 MHz | 11264 MB | SM: 28

ID:0 - Primary pool:    zcoin-eu.mintpond.com:3000
                        Wallet: xxxx
                        Worker: 1080
No backup pool defined

23:39:46 Cannot load the algo dll (10)

command line is
TT-Miner.exe -A MTP-100 -P [email protected]:3000

similar with MTP-92

Version 2.1.5 is available.

The new release adresses some issues that have been reported in the last few days. On some systems the miner creates too much rejected shares. I redesigned some related parts of the miner and I thiunk that this issue is fixed now. TT-Miner should not give you too much rejected shares anymore. You can monitor if the new functions works. There are only two scenarios where a rejected share may happend. One this that the pool adjusts the difficulty at the same time as the miner send out a new solution, the other on is that the miner recieves a new job while it is sending a new solution to the pool. In both scenarios a rejected shar may happend. You can see if the difficulty is adjusted or if the pool sent a new job in the command window.

Stating with this new release TT-Miner can understand most of the used command line arguments. If you already use any miner it should be OK just to replace the program name an leave the remaining arguments as they are. If you have a combination that TT-Miner does not understand please let me know so that I can fix that.

In the case that TT-Miner crashes it creates now a so called crash-dump file in the directory in which TT-Miner was started. In this case a file named CrashDump.dmp is created. It should be really helpful to fix the bug if you could send me these file with Information of the version of TT-Miner and the pool you used. The file contains information at which location TT-Miner crashed. i can so try to understand what happened and fix the bug. If you want to leand more about the contant of this file please read this artivcle from MS: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/desktop/dxtecharts/crash-dump-analysis

If you do benchmarking please do not compare minerside numbers, but use pool hashrates, shares or just monies to get a objective number.

Thanks and: Happy mining.

It is OK if the hashrates isn't the same - even if you have 'identical' cards. Nothing to worry. I think it is save to go up to 64GB if you have enough space available on your HD/SSD.

Thanks for your help and quick response

Try to increase virtual memory:

https://www.gpuminingresearch.com/getting-started/how-to-increase-virtual-memory-in-windows-10/

Please let me know if that helps.

Increased from 32Gb to 36Gb, it seems to be working, at list for last 5 min. I will be watching future. Thanks for your help!!!
One card shows little less hashrate than other, but all 6 card has same configuration.

Hello, nice work on a new miner for ProgPow and other hot algorithms.

Is there any support for linux planned?

If so, we would like to request that it follow the following conventions for application development:

- Fully configurable using the command line, without need for config files.
- Per-device stats (accepts, hashrate at the least)
- Full JSON API via socket, so we can reach the stats via curl, for example.

If this is doable we will be very thankful and include your miner in our ubuntu-based distribution, PiMP OS.

Thank you very much!
