Galatasaray had a bad season. As a Galatasaray fan, I can't remember a worse season.
I don't think it matters who the coach is.
What matters is the quality of the player.
Okan Buruk or someone else... It can't change much.
After several seasons of being able to dominate the top flight of the Turkish Super League standings but this season was actually their worst season, inconsistent performances in the league forced Galatasaray to end the season in 13th place and clearly it was the worst season in the last 10 years, as one of the  giants team in turkey of course It's quite sad that Galatasaray condition is now and the fans are quite disappointed when they miss playing in European competition next season, I haven't seen any movement from Galatasaray in the transfer market and I think they should immediately fix the squad if they don't want to repeat their bad luck next season.

Galatasaray really had a poor season last.
-snip

indeed, they had a season to forget, it was not that close of course, but talks about relegation were there, in front of talks about title or European spots

nevertheless, since they have no European matches this year, they will be concentrated to domestic competition

last year highlight was playing Barca in Europa league, that actually went better than expected

Galatasaray really had a poor season last. They must be aiming to make their fans forget about that season. They will need to make a huge improvement in the team. I don't believe that they have a squad that has a very good quality now. I mean that they need to make some of the positions stronger to be more competitive. They need a striker for example. Gomis is too old even though he performed nicely last season. They can't continue to rely on only him. I think Babel also should be sent from the team like they did with Feghouli.

Okan Buruk has become the new coach of Galatasaray. He was part of the team in the UEFA cup we won in 2000. He can bring back the spirit that Galatasaray needs. We have good and young players. We need a few masterful touches that can capture the harmony. Okan Buruk can do this. Everyone is skipping Galatasaray this year, but I think we can become one of the most ambitious teams in the league championship.
Yes, I think the fans think that Okan Buruk is a good solution. He can add a good spirit to the team, as you said, they need to focus completely on the league this year. Believe that we will rise to the top of the league this year with a couple of nice transfers for the midfield. I think Okan will bring the team to good places, I am hopeful from him. That means you have big responsibilities for Galatasaray, for the league.
Now after having the worst last season look like good things are happening with Galatasaray because fans looking for better next season and for me Okan Buruk is right decision in current circumstances with finances are also very important for club, and we all know recently some foreign player are not happy to join here in Turkey with current government attitude is not good enough for them.

In last few years quality of soccer clubs are dropping very badly but still few clubs are doing their best for having some better things hopefully after having the worst last season Galatasaray have their lessons and will improve their game for having good results and entry in European Competitions which is very important for them if they want to increase quality and have some better finances for their clubs.

I can't believe Okan Buruk decision is final, he is the new coach. Okan Buruk can't take the burden of this team. He will most probably fail. A poor coach, he can never be successful in a big team like this in this stage of his career. On the other hand, Fatih Terim is very very old. The game he plays is no longer enjoyable. Defensive back passes are his only deal. This team needs a disciplined and dedicated coach. Marco Rose is very good and cares about young players. But I can understand that circumstances are tough, Okan Buruk might be Galatasaray's only choice.

Why are you so negative about Okan Buruk? I believe he was the best choice for Galatasaray under this circumstances. Nuri Şahin is pretty inexperienced, Fatih Terim must be retired already, Marco Rose and other foreign options are too expensive. Okan fit Galatasaray so well and we know he wants to be in this club for a long time. I think he already prove himself in Başakşehir, it's very hard to make a team with no fans a champion. I don't know if he can be successful in Galatasaray or not but I know he was one of the best options out there.

Marco Rose was spoken as a coach at Galatasaray club. In fact, Fatih Terim came to the agenda for a short time, I don't understand how it is still on the agenda, how many times he had that chance, he just didn't get it. Now it is said that Okan Buruk has become the new director of the club, and it is said that the official announcement will be on Monday. Galatasaray club made an offer for Abdülkerim Barcakçı. He is a player who is on the agenda of three big clubs at the moment.

Official offer made for Jackson Muleka. Beşiktaş offered 2 million Euro. Standard Liege expects a higher transfer fee, but Turkish clubs cannot spend a lot of money under these economic conditions. Muleka, who came to Kasımpaşa at halftime last season, showed a great performance and scored 12 goals. After this performance, big Turkish clubs took him on their radar. If he stayed in Belgium or went to another league, there would be no such demand. If Weghorst transfer doesn't happen, Muleka could be a good alternative.

Fenerbahce is going to revise its team this year with new coach Jorge Jesus. The Yellow and Dark Blue team which started the season early, started quickly to form a squad. Lincoln Henrique and Bruma joined the team. The roads will part with the majority of the foreign players transferred during the Vitor Pereira and Erol Bulut era. Opening the season early for the Champions League qualifying matches, will Fenerbahce be able to achieve success this year with Jesus' roster revision?
They will probably increase the Pressure to win next season because this could be a pretty good move to get through the season.
I think Jorge Jesus' achievements were quite good, especially when he was at Benfica and I hope that the good achievements at that time can be made here again.
But there are interesting things here it seems that despite the new leadership for coaching but the ban for Ozil is still in effect and he will still be imprisoned at the club.

They say Galatasaray signed with Okan Buruk. I think it's a good choice. This season they will only focus on the league. I expect success from Galatasaray this season.

They also say that Arda Turan will retire.

As I am watching this all situation most chances he will not join this club Besiktas because his family is not feeling comfortable with this all and due to some other players consultation he is personally also not feeling good for joining here.

Many Dutch players regard Turkish soccer as the graveyard for Dutch players because few already play here and then never able to do something good in soccer which is surely not a good signal for a player like Weghorst, even though he is a very strong and good player but still, he has a few years to play so most chances he will stay in England and try to have some good contract which is possible because few clubs are having interest and they can give him something manageable which is acceptable to him and his family which is already not happy with this Besiktas talk.

Weghorst was so undecided whole transfer season long. Beşiktaş have no time to waste so they plan on making moves for other candidates. Striker position is the most important part as we've watched consequences. Batshuayi scored many goals but he missed way more than he scored. Too many clear positions wasted and that cost Beşiktaş too much. Now they have to make a right move. You can't make a mistake in striker position, if your last player can't score then all of other attacking preparations become worthless.

According to latest news money is not the issue for Weghorst. His family don't want to come to Türkiye but I believe if right people present the country they would say yes. Due to the current government, the country has several fundamental problems. I think they approach it with prejudice because of the bad publicity of the country abroad. Almost all foreign players coming to the country are satisfied. There will be another meeting with Weghorst tomorrow. This transfer can still happen if the question marks in his family's minds are cleared. Would he make Mario Gomez effect? It's definitely very likely. It was Sosa who fed Gomez with assists. Now Ghezzal can feed Weghorst.
Yes, the latest news are that Weghorst still didn't give his final answer. Things can still happen in the favour of Besiktas. I think this deal would be beneficial for both the player and his current team, Burnley.

On the other hand for Besiktas, names such as Douglas, Jeremain Lens, Fabrice N'Sakala, Adem Ljajic, who were not considered in the squad by the technical team, but left the team when their contracts expired despite the convenience provided by the management, have not yet found a club for themselves. Likewise, Oğuzhan Özyakup, Gökhan Töre and Mehmet Topal, whose contracts were not renewed and released, could not agree with a place yet. These players were a huge baggage for Besiktas, it is very good that they get rid of these players who didn't contribute at all.

People were saying Wout Weghorst could be the second Mario Gomez for Besiktas and Turkey, but he also decided to not play for Besiktas. It can be considered understandable but as far as I reckon, for the players it is also quite a good deal. He could be very successful in Besiktas.

I know that Okan Buruk will be the new manager of Galatasaray. The latest news was showing it. They say there will be no Marco Rose or Fatih Terim. Fatih Terim doesn't take charge when there is a bad squad. Marco Rose would cost too much, too. Besides, the fact that only Turkish managers have won championships in recent years pushes the boards to Turkish options. Okan Buruk made a small club champion. Why shouldn't he come to Galatasaray? I think he will be successful, but the fans have to show patience.

Beşiktaş brought Romain Saïss today and he signed the deal. That's a very powerful move for defense. Also youngster Emirhan İlkhan signed a new deal. In Winter transfer window Gedson Fernandes was bought and loaned out to Rizespor, now he's back to the team as well.
Wout Weghorst told his decision that he doesn't want to play in Türkiye so this deal fell through. It's his loss though, he could've played comfortable matches and scored many goals with this lineup. Even Batshuayi scored a lot of goals while he's missed more than that. I don't think Weghorst could find many positions as he would be in Beşiktaş if he comes.

Besiktas looks really good for next season and probobly doing the best job so far in this transfer window of all Turkish clubs.
Weghorst wants to play in a much better league then the turkish one and with his history he can play in the top 5 league for sure

Romain Saïss is a very good transfer. Besiktas desperately needed a good defender like him and they are filling a big gap in their roster. Nevertheless, they still need a lot of quality players but their economic situation also make it harder for them to transfer a lot of players. For all of the Turkish teams, it is very hard road ahead.
