Beşiktaş brought Romain Saïss today and he signed the deal. That's a very powerful move for defense. Also youngster Emirhan İlkhan signed a new deal. In Winter transfer window Gedson Fernandes was bought and loaned out to Rizespor, now he's back to the team as well.
Wout Weghorst told his decision that he doesn't want to play in Türkiye so this deal fell through. It's his loss though, he could've played comfortable matches and scored many goals with this lineup. Even Batshuayi scored a lot of goals while he's missed more than that. I don't think Weghorst could find many positions as he would be in Beşiktaş if he comes.

Fenerbahce is going to revise its team this year with new coach Jorge Jesus. The Yellow and Dark Blue team which started the season early, started quickly to form a squad. Lincoln Henrique and Bruma joined the team. The roads will part with the majority of the foreign players transferred during the Vitor Pereira and Erol Bulut era. Opening the season early for the Champions League qualifying matches, will Fenerbahce be able to achieve success this year with Jesus' roster revision?

Galatasaray hasn't done much yet mainly because their presidential election just ended recently. Which means that the old one couldn't do anything yet, and the new one didn't had any time to do anything yet. There are talks about making the midfield stronger, and to be fair their defense wasn't that terrible, it wasn't amazing neither but it wasn't terrible. Their offensive line is not the best in the league but not terrible neither again.

Only thing they needed was getting that great midfield, if they can do that, and somehow get rid of those Romanian bad players they paid so much money for, they could use the income from that, to buy 1-2 players that could make their team so much better.

I follow the developments, but I am not sure if they are slowing down the new transfer period in the Galatasaray community or if they are trying to solve the internal problems first. It is absolutely essential that they make radical changes and make good transfers. Things should go well this season, I think now is the time if they want to compete. The club was in talks with the coach Marco Rose, but Marco Rose gave negative feedback.

Fenerbahce signed a contract  with new transfers Lincoln Henrique and Bruma. Fenerbahçe transferring for Jorge Jesus's new system. Also I read today in a speculation that Halil Dervişoğlu was on Beşiktaş's and Trabzonspor's agenda. Unfortunately, there is no positive news for Galatasaray today. Galatasaray are still not clear about the coach.

Surprisingly former Portuguese Galatasaray player Brumo joined Fenerbahçe lately. He is not as young and potentially good now although he knows Süper Lig and he might be very very useful with Fenerbahçe in the long run in my opinion. Gonna rotate with Diego Rossi at left wing probably. Let's see if they gonna get new striker or not for next season. I think -as many big teams- they will.

although only briefly but Pirlo has been a tactician for Juventus. Karagumruk finished in 8th position last season and with Pirlo's presence, I'm sure next season Karagumruk's position will rise. turkish league is getting more and more interesting with many italian players in it.

The arrival of Andrea Pirlo is really a big deal. He was idle for a year after coaching Juventus. Now this will be his second managerial adventure and his first time working abroad. Everyone knows how good his player time is, but being a manager is something else. Very good players came to Turkey as managers before. It's certainly interesting to see how their careers will take shape, but that could go in a good way or a bad way. Being a good player doesn't guarantee that you will be a good manager. I hope it will be the best for Pirlo and he will add color to the league.

I think Pirlo has a high technical capacity. His understanding of the game is also effective in making the Super League interesting. Karagümrük must have made a very good offer. After his Juventus career, there must be good reasons for him to agree to manage a medium strength team in Turkey. Let's see what he can do in the league. It's certainly true that he adds excitement to the league.

What a surprising start for Karagümrük. Thre is strange connection between Karagümrük and Italians. They keep getting Italian players as well. Maybe those convinced him to come to İstanbul. There is not big difference between Italians and Turks in mentality so I think they can get along easily. They should just get used to night life of İstanbul. hehe. Karagümrük is one of upper table teams in league. I think Pirlo may become successful.
Karagümrük may view Italians as idol, or indeed the club's biggest connection most Italians. Pirlo has to bring the club to a title because of the fact that this club has not yet won a title, if Pirlo manages to bring Karagümrük to become the 1st champion of the turkish super league then he will become great history for the club.

The weird thing about Fenerbahce situation is that they had a magnificent manager, that helped them get a lot better and won most of the games, and they still got another one. I get that interim coach is literally there for the interim, there to be hold off until the season ends so that you can get someone else, but when an interim manager plays and wins most of the games, you should be considering him for the job as well.

I would have kept him there, for at least another season, he would have been amazing and if not, then get another manager since he would be willing to move back to coaching anyway. That could have been a great idea to be fair, but Fener opted not to do that.

İsmail Kartal had a really good time as an interim manager as he was very successful. But I think that the decision to send him was the right thing to do definitely. Fenerbahçe haven't been able to become the champions in the league for eight years and there is a big pressure over the club. I don't think that he is capable of handling this pressure well. When he started to manage the team, Fenerbahçe were already aimless for the rest of the season.

Next season can be a really interesting one. Trabzonspor had a huge dominance in the last one most of the time. Fenerbahce started to recover later on but it wasn't enough for catching up with Trabzonspor of course. For next season I think that we will see a different team making it to the league title. Trabzonspor will still stay as one of the biggest contenders but I don't think they will manage to win the title two times in a row. It will be depending on the performances of other big teams too actually. Because thanks to their poor look, Trabzonspor had even an easier job.

Andrea Pirlo became the new coach of Karagümrük. What a day! We will watch Pirlo as a coach in one of the teams that have never won a championship in the Turkish League. Maybe Pirlo will win a championship to Karagümrük. Why not? It seems like a miracle but his football mind can do it. Joking apart! He will add color to our league. It will be a great experience to watch Pirlo as a coach working in the Turkish League. Welcome to Türkiye, Maestro!

There are discussions before the presidential election in Galatasaray. There are problems between President Burak Elmas and Fatih Terim, who will not be a candidate in the election to be held. Burak Elmas regretted not sending Fatih Terim early from the team. Fatih Terim on the other hand thinks that Burak Elmas won the election thanks to him. In the last discussion, Burak Elmas implied that they paid a salary for Fatih Terim in vain. Tensions continue between the two. I think that the person who will be the favorite in the presidential election will be Dursun Özbek. Because Özbek is an experienced name and if he wins again, he is someone who will save his team from a bad situation.
Dursun Özbek has won the presidential race for the Galatasaray after their horrible season. He claimed that they will keep most of the players and get at least four more to next year's team. While the Turkish economy is in terrible shape, all of the football teams are also struggling so badly economically. I reckon that is why Dursun Özbek cannot change the players drastically and probably can get cheap players. I don't also expect any success from Galatasaray next year. They have to do a big rebuild in my opinion, otherwise they can't be successful in the coming years.

Marcelo, whose contract with Real Madrid has expired is about to sign with Fenerbahce.

Fenerbahçe previously signed Roberto Carlos. Marcelo's transfer may have the same effect. Brazilian players have had great success at Fenerbahçe. Alex, Devid, Roberto Carlos had been very successful at Fenerbahçe. There is a perfect harmony between Fenerbahçe and Brazilian football players. If it happens, it would be a very good transfer.

Fenerbahce is trying to return to its long awaited old days. The yellow dark blue team which entered the transfer season with Jorge Jesus fast, wants to realize the transfer that will make a name for itself this time. Marcelo, whose contract with Real Madrid has expired is about to sign with Fenerbahce. The yellow dark blue team, which wants to become the champion next season wants to make a name for itself in the transfers. Fenerbahce who wants to strengthen his wings with Marcelo, may already want to form a dream team with Jesus.

In my opinion, the two best favorites will be Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş this season. Galatasaray needs to solve its own problems first.

Galatasaray's presidential election is on the agenda and they are still not clear about the coach.  There are a lot of news pages that say torrent is going away.  The question of who will be president remains an issue.  Galatasaray must solve them and concentrate on the team or they will fall behind their opponents.  Trabzonspor, which is the champion this year, is one of the ambitious teams next year in my opinion.  It is not limited to Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş.

Trabzonspor became champion once, I think they will not allow them to become champions again in 3-4 years. I think Antalyaspor will start well this year. Towards the end of the season, we can watch a championship fight between Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş. It's still too early to speculate because many things are still uncertain.
In the Turkish league, unfortunately, the champion is not determined only by the quality of the players Cheesy
