If it is prolonged or in the long term something similar continues to happen where the League is used as place to make money or the financial interests of each ruling individual then there will be no development whatsoever and in certain period of time in the future football there will be destroyed.
Wouldn't it be shame if the Domestic League had to be destroyed because of the actions of several rulers who only carried out capitalism above the interests of the sport of football and of course something like this would be great shame, even worse, it could destroy trust and trigger disappointment from Turkish football fans.

In fact, Turkey has pretty great football team, they have even managed to compete with big European teams and their development can be seen more clearly in European competitions than in the Domestic League.
Just look at Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Galatasaray, they look so enthusiastic every season for European competitions, especially for the UCL.
They are the biggest team that Turkey has but now they don't seem to be very enthusiastic about the Domestic League.

In addition, the Turkish national team has also experienced significant decline in the past 3 decades and they were among the semifinalists in the 2002 World Cup and qualified for the top 8 of the 2008 European Cup.
But this is only past history at time when Turkish football was really developing well.
I think Football yes is for the money cause players earn a living out of it, but it requires passion too and that’s why each club has a fan base, Leaders should learn how to invest in their clubs as this will make football passion increase generally and when there’s good football it’ll result in more fund generated, however club owners and board members are supposed to follow the rules and regulations of their countries football body

Now when you see the situation at Turkey and compare it to the country’s performance both in Europe and the World at large you know proper investment is lacking as a result the country’s low performance, however I must commend several clubs like Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, and Besiktas for doing their very best in their league and qualifying into the Champions League to give us a good show.

It is very sad that we cannot talk about football in the Turkish Super League. Last year the league was postponed because of the earthquake. This year, the league was postponed because of a behavior that created an earthquake effect.

I think the punishment given to Koca is too little. Koca has been banned from football for life. But I think this punishment is not enough for him. Halil Umut Meler should sue him personally. Because he was attacked and injured. And other referees and the football federation should be on the same side with Halil Umut Meler.

It doesn't feel that "corrupt", I mean financially if there is a financial fair play that is getting broken then the Uefa has to do something about it but from what I can see they have not found any financial fair play issues. When you accept that financially they are all fair and not breaking anything, then you need to look at the team values.

Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are much higher valued teams than any other team in that league and they are both at the very top, ahead of everyone else, Besiktas is third and they are near the third in the results as well. It is not really a shocker to see the standings when you compare the values of the teams players as well. So in the end, what is so corrupt? Good teams are doing good, why is it so shocking?

If there was a backbone in the federation, all managers and directors would resign after this fiasco. Anakragücü was officially rewarded, not punished. We didn't expect relegation anyway, everyone in the country knows that that team is being watched for political reasons. At least they should have been given a penalty to play without spectators until the end of the season, but they couldn't even do that. The punishment given to the club president was not a punishment, they gave the message that you can beat anyone you want with a little money. Unless penalties are deterrent, these incidents cannot be prevented. I'm writing here that one day a referee will be killed and those who cannot give the necessary deterrent penalties today will be responsible for this. Unfortunately, the league is heading to a much worse place.

Football in the Turkish League have now become a corrupt sports, games are no longer played fairly and the outcomes however are just more or less inputed. The football bodies need to take a deep look at this league and send out necessary sanctions to all that requires it. First from the match officials that have now turned every game to a business just to go in the favor of the highest bidder. It's certain that if a game doesn't go fairly as it ought to, it'd cause fury in the fans and will in turn lead to break outs on the pitch. At thesame time, the fans ought to learn to control themselves and not cause disruption always in every game.

At this point in time, there's just disorderliness in the league and if something isn't done about it, then definitely there'd be a lot of errors that may likely not get fixed just easily. The correction should start from the top tho and the football bodies should put more focus and strength on every happenings in the league, strict policies should as well be implemented as it'll make for proactive measures to curbing the excesses from both the teams, the referees and the fans too. Orderliness should be restored so the league won't loose its integrity and worth.

More severe punishment? The Turkish Football Federation can only impose sanctions for incidents that fall under its jurisdiction.

Turkish Football Federation sentenced Faruk Koca to permanent disqualification. Furthermore, the Turkish Football Federation sentenced Ankaragücü to 5 matches without spectators and a monetary penalty of 2 million 200 thousand Turkish Liras. The Turkish Football Federation did what it had to do.

I think it was a correct and measured punishment. I congratulate the Turkish Football Federation.

However, all is not over. Faruk Koca will also be tried for intentional injury, threats and entering forbidden areas...
I must commend the Turkish Football Federation for serving justice to the defaulters, cause they brought same and embarrassment to the country and deserves to be punished, alot of fans has complained about the situation, saying the Federation is full of corruption and nothing would be done to the defaulters cause of the positions they hold in their team, however the TFF have cleared alot of doubts and proved that theirs still fairness in the game.

This would serve as a warning to others that has plans to commit such act and fell they'll go Scott free, atleast they'll learn to be calm and control their temper, so as not to put their team in a situation, to be honest the TFF did the right thing by serving the defaulters the right punishment, finally Justice have been served to them.
I bet all the other teams and their presidents who have seen the ~70k $ fine thought that they can do the same too. Before they resign from the club anyway, they can just punch the referees or other people and just pay the 70k$ fine. Look at the nba, their punishments are usually much harsher and they even make huge changes like the dress code. Then all the players and the teams behave well, and they have to. With this decision, it is proven that it just cheap to do illegal things. This situation also affected the league in a bad way with the fixture change. We might see unusual scores.

I have similar thoughts in the opposite direction. I was sad that Galatasaray was eliminated from the Champions League, but the Champions League is an arena with tough matches, so it had a negative impact on league matches. Now I think we can focus more on the league, so I think we will make fewer mistakes in the league.
Mistakes are made just once and another doesn't counts to be happening. This is strict warnings to all Turkish clubs, if they can't compete in UEFA Champions League football, they should probably quit and settle only in their domestic league. The looks of things this season for Turkish clubs, they found it really hard for obtaining pleasant spots in the major tournaments they qualified for, they got eliminated and now we will watch some  of them performing in the Europa League and some will return home without relevant scores to depend on.

Ankaragücü fans will get 5 matches ban. The team will pay $69k fine. Ex president permanently banned after punching referee. This was expected. Some people expect harsher punishment but we know how things go in Türkiye.
There will be no matches this weekend but the league will restart in Tuesday. This match week will be played in January. Obviously this fixture change has negative effects but I don't think there would be any other solution. The fixture is tight already and there is no room to play games.

Fenerbahçe had a fantastic win in the UEFA European Conference League. We will return to the league with high motivation and morale. I hope we can maintain this state until the derby match.

All these are quite shocking news, I mean these type of things do usually happens but usually do not end up with this much trouble. I have seen plenty of games where fans did rush the pitch and attack the refs, not like this was the first time ever in history that something like this happened, we have seen this happen so many times, so it is not really that shocking to me.

However, the result of postponing games, the president of the team being fired and turns out he was the one who did it, and all those are the new parts. Fans and hooligans do this all the time, it is not uncommon, but president of a club? Now that's a new thing and the leagues are postponed as well, things are looking a little bit chaotic for the league.

It is normal for someone who has been in fan groups in stadiums for years and has worked his way up to the presidency of a club. Unfortunately fanaticism always kills the mind. Someone who has lost his mind can do anything. There is no other explanation for what we are going through. We must be against all forms of violence in sports. It doesn't matter if it is referees or opposing teams, we should all be able to say no to violence. If we achieve this, football and sports will gain meaning.

It is difficult for TFF management to change because those who come to the management do not want to leave, no matter how unsuccessful they are.
Turkish football is getting worse day by day, something must be done urgently, otherwise no one will watch this football.
Federation officials do not leave office. The problem here is not caused by them. The selfish act of a team president and the subsequent violence of a referee on the ground was already a bad enough sight for Turkish football. According to what I read, they banned the violent president indefinitely from football. I hope he gets rewarded for this with other punishments.

After this big disgrace in the Ankaragucu v Rizespor match the leagues are going to be continuing from where they left as of next Tuesday as you have also mentioned.

We are continuing like nothing happened. I hope that Faruk Koca gets punished accordingly. As there have been flaws in the law of our country for some time I'm afraid that I have some doubts about that.  Sad

When we return to the matches to be played next week I can say that Fenerbahce's job won't be easy at all. Because they are playing an away match against Kayserispor. As Kayserispor haven't been losing a single match for many weeks and they are at the 3rd position maybe Fenerbahce might lose points against them.

It is normal that nowadays there are many sports industries which are really utilized by certain parties to make certain amount of money for themselves, and of course various events not only in Turkish football make most people consider football as the place of highest capitalism.
But if you think about the impact of case like that, it will have bad effect in the long term regarding the development of football there, progress will be slow and efforts to achieve success will also be difficult.
Turkish football has now become one of the competitions that many people can enjoy or enjoy, so the existence of cases like this in the future could also eliminate the feeling of liking for Turkish football.
Wouldn't this be shame if it happened?
The governing board of the Turkish football association must be able to overcome this, they must be able to suppress the existence of capitalism in their football so that it can support better development.

There is one case that is being talked about quite lot and this has really caused Turkish football to experience quite serious impact, namely the president of one of the teams who beat the referee.
Even worse, rumors are circulating that the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has made statement that the League will be suspended for some time to come.
Cases like this should not happen but that is what Turkish football is experiencing and all the teams there must accept the impact.

The TFF management needs to change. At the Clubs' Union meeting held yesterday, the presidents of most teams made statements expressing their opinions in this direction. Ali Koç, the president of the club association, emphasized the need for tough decisions. Although the absurdity of the decisions taken by the TFF was mentioned, he stated that unfortunately the decisions must be obeyed. Obviously, the club presidents do not want the current TFF president Mehmet Büyükekşi to continue in office any longer. For this reason, it is considered likely that a new president will take over the TFF.

Turkiye is a country of law. First of all, Ankaragücü president Koca had to resign from his post due to public pressure. Also, according to Article 44 of the TFF's disciplinary regulations, he will receive a 400-day suspension. Furthermore, according to Article 86 of the Turkish Penal Code, referees of matches are considered public officials, so the incident will turn into a public case. There is even a possibility that Ankaragücü president Koca will be sentenced to 1 to 3 years in prison for intentional injury.

Turkiye is a country that has been under the influence of one-party fascism for many years in the past. Some one-party fascists are trying to achieve through different means what they could not achieve by elections, and for this reason they use disinformation to mix politics into sports. Our country is a state of law that has fought against the putschist mentality for years and will continue to fight against the putschist mentality.
