Leaving aside the referee and his management, Fenerbahce didn't really play well in the match.Although they always managed to keep the ball at their feet, they struggled to get to the goal, that is to say to shoot at the goal.Every ball came back to the defender and they had to keep trying. In the first half it was clearly a penalty against Szymanski and all the commentators and former referees said that it was a penalty according to the IFAB rule.Of course we can't forget this match because of the referee's bad management. These things happen so that mistakes can be learned from.

Income is low in the league because of the exchange rate. Payments are made in Euros in UCL, but earnings in the league are in TL.
Abdülkerim can be sold for good money, but his place will be difficult to replace.

Nelsson played in the starting 11 in tonight's game. We need to sell it for good money. He's a good player, but Sanchez is much better.

We won the game 2-1 tonight, the unbeaten streak continues in the league.

I have never thought about soccer and salaries in Turkey from this angle, but you are very correct! I checked the inflation rates and they keep exploding and if someone signed a contract with (converted) 5 million euros annually, those 5 million euros are now worth less than 2.5 million euros. That is insane and this must be one consideration that players have to factor in when they sign contracts in countries with economically unstable conditions.

@MK-74 are you sure that the contracts are hard-based on TL? Or do you think that especially for European players, the player's management would negotiate a contract that states the salary in euros? Because otherwise what you described would have severe financial consequences.

But back to soccer, it must have been a while since we had such a fierce competition at the top between two clubs. Both Gala and Fener are on fire.

Let me explain it exactly this way.

Players earn based on Euros.
Super league payments are TL.
Teams pay players in EURO. So the earnings are in TL but the payments are in EURO.
Teams earn EURO only from the European League. I hope I explained it correctly. Smiley

Fenerbahçe's series ended tonight. They will play against Adanademirspor next week and it will be tough in this game.

Fenerbahce will be looking to make it 11/11 in the league tonight. I don't expect them to have much trouble against Trabzonspor but this time goalkeeper Livakovic might have a lot of work to do. The goalkeeper will have a lot of work to do after the players in the defensive line are struggling with injuries, but he is a really good goalkeeper and being the goalkeeper of Croatia, the third in the world, you can't help but trust him.

Dont aged well, sorry mate. But what a game we just have, with a huge win of Tranzborsport and with a high voltage added time, Fenerbache trying with one men less to make a draw, and ended up allowing another goal and canceled by the referee.

Anyways its good for the league to see them losing some ponts after all.

Fenerbahçe couldn't produce anything in the first half and it was almost as if they were far away from the game. Fenerbahçe's classic game and tactical approach was almost non existent in match of Trabzonspor. Fenerbahçe lacked their ideal stopper and the absence of Fred had a bad effect on the team. However, it is useful to open a parenthesis here. Because the technical committee knew about this situation for a week and could have taken precautions accordingly.
If Fenerbahçe loses in derbies this year as it did last year, it will create a negative situation on the way to the championship. Trabzonspor started the game with their ideal line-up, but not quite at the level they should have been, but they were stronger and had a more clearer distribution of tasks, especially in the first half. After Trabzonspor scored surprise goals, they started to spend time among themselves. For Fenerbahce, not playing with the ideal squad may be one of the reasons for the defeat but it cannot be an excuse.
For the first time this season, Fenerbahce dropped points in the league after they were beaten by Trabzonspor. The last season runner's up had previously won their first 10 matches before the game but could not continue their perfect start to the new season.
Galatasaray who yesterday defeated  Kisimpasa will definitely be happy with the result as it now allows them to occupy the top spot in the league table though with just one point ahead of second placed Fenerbahce

The lack of defenders was very evident in this match. Samet, who hasn't played for a long time, and Oosterwolde, who normally plays as a left back, were both injured and unfortunately Ismail Kartal had to start with such a squad. This was perhaps the worst possible scenario in this match and Samet was really at fault for all three goals and to be honest I think Samet was the only reason why Fenerbahce lost. It was not Samet but the lack of a stopper that cost Fenerbahce this match. Livakovic's poor performance was actually the salt of the earth. We have a world number three goalkeeper in our goal and obviously you expect a good performance but today he was really not good and he took almost every shot. The lack of defenders and a bad goalkeeper were the main reasons for losing this game. Fred's absence was also clearly felt in this match. Miha Zajc is not a quality number 8 who can play in this team. Additions to this position and to the stopper seem to be a must in the interim transfer window. In fact, I can say that this was a game in which İsmail Kartal also failed because I think it would have been better to play Bartuğ instead of Crespo. Although Bartuğ has performed really well in the games he has played so far, in this match he could have come on in the second half instead of a player with a yellow card. not to mention the referee's decisions. I can clearly say that he managed a very bad match, there were some obvious wrong decisions for both sides.

Today we saw how the much-praised Fenerbahçe was doomed at home. Everyone watched how a bubble was actually tried to be created. The result of this match hit like a slap to those who tried to design the league with 2 teams. Even though they tried to stay in the match by scoring 2 penalties, they couldn't score any goals in the ongoing game and didn't even get 1 point from the match. Even in a bad season, Trabzonspor can beat Fenerbahçe away. This shows that the 2-team league design project has collapsed. Even if they want to, they will not be able to make the Turkish league like the Spanish league.

Hatayspor and Fenerbahçe cost me around 30-31 dollars, but at least I enjoyed watching them. Fenerbahçe was unbeaten in 19 games and Trabzonspor put an end to that. It seems that 20 is a really cursed number for Fenerbahce because they have 19 championship and they have been waiting for the 20th for years.

With 1 point more Galatasaray took the lead and let's see how long they can hold on to it.

Same is true for Turkey but I can say that in many nations the earnings of the club is mostly in fiat of their nation, and spending is in euro for salaries. So when you get a player, you pay a transfer fee in euro, and when you pay the player the salary is in euro too, because that's what they made so far in their life. However, when you sell a ticket in turkey, you can't sell ticket in euro, not a lot at least, you have to sell it in local currency, which is Turkish Lira.

So the earning is not the same, even the champion of the league there makes only a few million dollars, one UCL group stages is equal financially of the rewards to be 10 years champions in the league. Obviously that would still mean UCL if you are Champions but not the same. So long story short most players get Euro, and most players needs to be sold to cover the costs, buying a player for cheaper, playing him, propping him up good, and then selling for higher is bigger profit making for these teams than the league rewards.

It is good to see them losing some points after a long while, yes. Today's score was very interesting. Referee had a very interesting game as well. This is really not an easy game to be a referee. The tense atmosphere in front of the match, the statements and organisations made by the rich and unsuccessful to satisfy their greed, the fans who do all kinds of outrageous things both on social media and in daily life and are capable of doing more, the footballers who jump on the pitch with the support of the fans and try all kinds of moves to deceive the referees. In such an environment, you expect referees to be stable, robotic and 100% accurate. Impossible. And after that, they take the bribes. Then we see these kind of crazy situations.

Today there will be 3 matches in the league. Undoubtedly, Fenerbahçe and Trabzonspor will attract the most attention. Fenerbahçe has odds of 1.20 as the favorite of the match, while its rival Trabzonspor has odds of 7.

Of the other matches, I don't think Istanbulspor and Pendik will be very entertaining, while I think the match between Samsun and Hatay will be a bit more entertaining.

My bet slip will be as like that:

İstanbulspor Vs Pendikspor: +1,5 Gol
Samsunspor - Hatayspor: 2
Fenerbahçe - Trabzonspor: +2,5 Gol

Abdülkerim is a very good stopper. But we have three good stoppers in our squad. We can make money by selling one of them. Because one of them will always be a substitute. Last season we formed a very good defensive line with Nelsson and Abdülkerim. This season we transferred Davinson Sanchez. After we transferred Davinson Sanchez, Nelsson was substituted. It won't be bad for us if we sell Abdülkerim. Because we have Nelsson. But we can also sell Nelsson. We have such small problems because our squad quality is better than last season. I think we should be happy with this situation.
It would be bad if we sell Abdülkerim because we need good Turkish players.
Our two best Turkish players are Abdülkerim Bardakçı and Kerem Aktürkoğlu, it would be ridiculous to sell them if we can't find good players to replace them.
As you know, there is a foreign rule in our league and a total of 3 players must be Turkish. (8+3)
Depends on the money I suppose? Teams in Turkey do not really make all that much money from rewards at the league or cup or anything, Galatasaray made some money thanks to UCL this season but usually teams do not make all that much money. If Abdulkerim could be sold for a good amount of money then it would be smart to sell him.

Look at the situation with Nellson, first a season with europa success and losing to Barcelona, and then becoming champions, and up until Sanchez came along, they were basically using Nellson all that period and that made him worth something, he is young too, so they thought they  could sell him for at least 15-20 million to some big club, but they failed and not he is a bench player, barely worth 5-10 range. So they should sell Abdulkerim before it's too late as well.

Those who thought that Galatasaray would lose points at home against Kasımpaşa were wrong. Galatasaray won't lose points easily at home with this support. Zaha scored both goals, reminding me of the Crystal Palace days.
The main match of the week will be played between Fenerbahçe and Trabzonspor. It's unlikely that there will be any surprises in this match either. Fenerbahçe is very strong at home. However, if they are going to lose points in a match, this opponent could be Trabzonspor. After all, we are watching a team that can achieve 10 out of 10. This streak will definitely come to an end at some point. But with such a strong attacking side, losing points depends on very extreme situations. This seems difficult in the current conjuncture.

With Zaha's two goals, Galatasaray managed to beat Kasımpaşa today. It was a bit difficult, but Zaha solved the difficult problem. In the first goal, he forces his opponent to make a mistake and steals the ball, then shoots a delicious shot from far away.

Galatasaray beat Kasımpaşa tonight. But it was a very difficult win for us. I think the players had concentration problems because they were thinking about the Champions League match against Bayern Munich. Winning is more important than anything else in such times. When Champions League matches and league matches create a tight schedule, it is possible to encounter such low performances. Now we have to focus on the Champions League match against Bayern Munich. We played badly in this game but we managed to win.

What else can he do to create a left-field goal? He was incredibly cool when scoring the second goal, and even though the ball suddenly came out of the way, he finished easily. It's nice to see what a good transfer it is. There were difficult moments in Kasımpaşa, but Galatasaray continues to win thanks to Zaha.
Kasimpasa had their chances and could have gotten the draw. They had really a lot of shots and were able to cause a lot of troubles to Galatasaray. Galatasaray got a big win and now is first on the table until Fenerbahce plays the next match against Trabzonspor.

Galatasaray became the leader again by beating their rival Kasımpaşa with a 2-1 score. I bet a total of 100 TL (around 3.5-4 dollars) on a draw or a win for Kasımpaşa. I lost, but it was a good game. Galatasaray struggled with their finishing, scoring one goal from outside the penalty area and the other on a quick counter-attack from a position that could have been a penalty. Kasımpaşa also had a lot of good chances but they didn't have the final touches and this defeat was inevitable for them.

Muslera left the game with an injury and I hope he is not seriously injured.

I also think that Galatasaray should hold onto their skilled Turkish players. They already need 3 domestic players as you have mentioned. In addition to that they had better keep some alternatives to them in the squad as well in case there is an injury or suspension situation. They had better keep the best ones in the team firstly and the rest of them can be sold of course. Galatasaray spent lots of money in the last transfer window. Selling some players can be beneficial.

However instead of doing it with domestic players who aren't worth much they can do it with useless foreign players whose worth is much more.
