I recommend this series: How to get away with murder
First episode and you already know some tips how to get away with murder. This series made law and justice. Sound interesting and intriguing then adding sex, violence and thrilling college life to the mix that will make you want to watch more episodes. Try also to watch Hannibal if you're into cannibalism.

The original House of Cards was pretty great (at least 1st season was). I'm not sure if most people even realize that the netflix show originated on the BBC first. BBC version > Netflix version in my opinion.

I really liked watching Rome as well, great show. Some shows I could recommend that you might like:
- Weeds
(good drama/dark comedy – season 4 just wrapped up in the US)
- The Sopranos
(an oldie but goodie – you might've already seen it, but in case you haven't, I highly recommend it)

Now I watch Game of Thrones last season. I like the show. The truth is slightly deviated from the book. Nevertheless, a very strong story and not how it ruined him.

He was advised to see the TV series "The Sopranos." I was very surprised by the quality and interesting plot, so I highly recommend, and you see this show.
