The last time I watched a Mixed martial art fighter try boxing it was very disappointing because both fighters didn't care how it went down because they were getting paid handsomely and really failed to put up a good show imo...

But for this one, I think it will be different because  Francis Ngannou uses his fists mostly to knock out his opponents which will make this match exciting..and him having a Tyson in his corner makes it even more exciting as he will learn new tricks to his arsenal in trying to take down the Gypsy King in his own sport and that power punch will come in handy...

Its been awhile since we had a proper heavy weight fight and this one is a must watch!

For what purpose is Tyson getting back into pro boxing? Is he out of money for bird feed?
I don't think they have to have any valid purpose just to return in the limelight, just like Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, are they also out of money? Grin

Mike Tyson was just called by Fedor Emelianenko and it doesn't even state or guarantee that they will indeed have a fight because this is not new anyway, there has been talks previously that Mike Tyson will fight Evander Holyfield but that didn't materialize. But if this bout will come into fruition, the organizers are definitely in for a lot of money because the last time Mike Tyson stepped foot in the ring way back 2020, that bout generated 1 million plus PPVs.

What more if we add Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou in the equation. It's just a business mate and if you don't want to watch, you're pretty much welcome not to participate.
I mean if it's just money we're talking about, Tyson can sit comfortably in his bed of cash without ever having to touch the boxing gloves again. My statement was more of satirical really rather than something to take seriously. Given the fact that he had a history with mismanagement of funds and all that which lead him to being bankrupt and indebted way back then.

Anywho, For me this should be a separate event. The Tyson-Ngannou fight is good and all that and they deserve a powerful opener before the main event, but Mike is more than just an opening fighter, he's the main event ever since and even if he's already retired, I don't think we're putting enough respect in his name by giving him just the opening fight slot instead of his own event. But oh well, I heard that the Two Tysons are in great terms and are even good friends, perhaps Mike Tyson's doing this as a favor for his friend. Idk for sure.

Have you guys noticed, that with time, vote poll became more even? If at first, Fury was domination among users selection, now he is leading only with few votes. Why suddenly users opinion changed so much ? Because of 1) they observed current form of Fury 2) the role of Mike Tyson in Ngannou camp became more valuable 3) people noticed something new in Ngannou 4) they just randomly chose the winner Cheesy

Fury has a lot of haters who just want to see him lose. He is very arrogant and often contradicts himself by saying he cares more about legacy than about the money. Even if he is justified in wanting a higher percentage against Joshua and Usyk people will still blame him for those negotiations failing. He is not the people's champion as he likes to portray himself. He obviously cares very much about money and has made it the primary reason for why he is competing in the sport.

Mike has to teach Francis how to get closer to find the range, Mike is smart enough to have done this against his opponents. If Francis can't get close, he will never get an opportunity to land a punch.

It doesn't look like they are very much into thrashing. Francis pointing at the bod looks like a good meme. We're going to see a lot of memes after the fight and it wouldn't even matter for Francis if he loses the fight since it's already expected against the pro but it would be a hilarious meme if Fury loses though.

I believe that it is their plan, Ngannou cannot make any difference if he will stay beyond Fury's reach because that will also mean that he will have a hard time reaching the latter. It's much better for them to have a confrontation in the guise of a toe-to-toe fight because they got more chances that way, but it's a challenge though if Ngannou can survive it because his stamina will be a problem as he is not built to be a boxer who can last up to 12 rounds while giving and receiving deadly blows.

In the 5th round, Francis would be a flatliner. He needs the fight to end quickly in less than 5 rounds or he'll be the one on the ground lying. Francis is still slow which would be the kind of worrying if you are to bet on him. I saw his training with Mike on YouTube, he is not as quick still especially with a boxing glove.

If he is to win the fight, I think the strategy is to just body shots at Fury. It's an easier target than the head but he also has to be cautious of the counter. As much as I want Francis to win, its not gonna be a park walk.

If my memory serves me correctly, the poll was like this from the very beginning. People vote for Ngannou not because they really believe in his victory, but simply because they want such an outcome. The fight itself is not much different from a circus, so everyone wants at least some intrigue and even an unexpected defeat from Fury so that they can then see an “interesting” revenge. Imagine if everything goes as we expect: in the first rounds Ngannou tries to be active as much as possible, Fury keeps distance and doesn’t let him do it and then just beats him. And the fight either ends with a technical knockout or a unanimous decision of the judges. As uninteresting as possible.

For sure I don't want to body shame and with the recent Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury face-off Fury doesn't need such muscle because his skill and technique are more than enough in dealing with Francis Ngannou, and this is the 1st time for Ngannou in dealing a fight with boxing, for sure with all that body fats Tyson Fury is still confident in dealing with Francis Ngannou for sure,

So we have a new meme here, Maybe Ngannou is thinking Is this the guy that can knock me out and how come this guy is the heavyweight champion, If Ngannou carries this mindset he is in big trouble the moment he steps in the ring this flappy fat guy is going to knock him out, I hope Mike Tyson will give him a different mindset going through the fight remember he is a victim of an upset because he undermine his opponent.

The appearance is an exception for Fury, as he had that kind of physique when he reigned in the heavyweight division. Ngannou shouldn't be too overconfident if he wants to last longer in this fight. If he rushes things and attacks without the right strategy, he might be hit by Fury's counter punches, which were his best weapon during his past fights especially against Wilder. Ngannou's camp could trash talk Fury outside the ring, but inside it's a different story, as Fury is full of confidence when he's already in the ring.

It won't be good for him if he is indeed mocking down an undefeated boxing champion, out of all people, he should know better because he was already eyeing this bout for a long time and that this is just a natural physique for Fury. It's not that new anymore specially for the avid boxing fans out here, the people who will laugh with Ngannou are also the people who don't know that Fury is just like this.

I would just think that it's his technique to attract people to watch the fight. Since most fans believe that Fury would easily beat him, he creates a scene so that people will talk about him and might be convinced that he is the real deal in boxing. Let's just see, but I'm really confident that Ngannou can't match the boxing skills of Fury.

From watching Ngannou sparring I would say that Tyson Fury wins this fight easily. Sure, Fury isn’t in shape like Ngannou, but that’s nothing new for Fury. At least he’s a proven boxer. After seeing Ngannou box in practice I am pretty sure this is just another money grab gimmick fight. Not worth watching in my opinion, but I’ll bet on Fury.

The fight might be what people expect but I'll check it out Who knows there's going to be a huge upset and I want to see that in my own eyes when it happens, I also want to see how Ngannou fights now after a long lay off it will be 9 months after his last fight and how Ngannou adjust from MMA to boxing he also has a very long lay off.

People are curious about the future of these two fighters Ngannou after getting out of UFC has a contract with other organizations and a good fight against Ngannou will give him authority in his new organization.

Ngannou doesn't do trashtalk. It could be because of language but he doesn't do that either even to his MMA fights. Him noticing the belly could be interpreted differently but seems more like a joke.

But looking at it from a boxer's perspective, Fury is becoming fat and that belly is a belly of an obese fat. And Fury also wants to fight Jon Jones. Yep, this is going to turn into a bigger circus. They discover how easy it is to make money with crossover fights like how the Pauls did it.

At this point, this is going to be very detrimental for professional fighters who are actually trying to fight their way up to the ranks. Doesn’t matter in boxing or MMA. If the fighters who are popular, or even people who are not actually fighters, like Logan Paul, who are taking the spotlight, just because they are popular, and can abuse a bunch of steroids, the actual fighters are not going to get what they deserve.

I didn’t say Jake Paul because it seems like he is actually trying. But if people can actually get so much money for exhibition matches, the actual professional fighters should be scared.

Maybe Ngannou is just motivating himself, Here is another one after looking down on Fury's fats he is imagining that he can knock out Ngannou wearing a T-shirt where Tyson is lying down, Maybe Ngannou in his dream is dreaming that he knocked out Fury, so many things running in Ngannou's head but when you checked on Tyson he is so relaxed and just clowning around a very usual Tyson, no pressure just joking around and creating hype, he'll just do his business some fight night.

Mike has to teach Francis how to get closer to find the range, Mike is smart enough to have done this against his opponents. If Francis can't get close, he will never get an opportunity to land a punch.
And that's what Mike Tyson is training Francis, head movement and he should be quick on his feet. Of course in training he might execute it nicely. But when he is on the ring with Fury, it is very different. Perhaps like what his strategy against Wilder, used his technical skills and if Francis gets closer, tie him up and put all the weight on Ngannou and let him take all the weight and eventually he will get tired as he is not used to his long rounds.

That's the closest confrontation that we might seen this two do leading up to the fight. But it sure did as it be a meme right now. But it boils down as how Francis will do in this fight. Can you pull an upset and land that big one shot on Tyson Fury?

^^ I saw glimpse of the face-off, as usual Tyson Fury started to run his mouth again, but Francis just keep calm and then point to the belly of Fury, lol. As we all know, Francis body is solid as compare to Fury who has not have a good body but he was able to carry that so no complains.

And I also see Mike Tyson really putting his works to train Francis here. Maybe he saw something in Francis that he can upset Fury. Just to sharpen his boxing skills and footwork and then the timing of letting his hands to go score a knockout. It's going to be devastating to see Francis knocking out Fury in return.

Yep, I saw it too. I'm glad to see that my boy in this particular fight, Francis Ngannou, is very confident and we cannot see any hint that he is somehow thinking of something negative when he faced Tyson Fury for their upcoming fight.

Now, I'd say that this will be a good fight, but what makes it interesting to me more is that Fury seems not taking things seriously. I mean, we can clearly see it.

With regards to Mike Tyson's decision to help Ngannou, I know he got his own reason why and in the first place, I don't think that he will train someone whom he sees no chance at all because he will just be part of an embarrassment. It may be a money fight, but I know that it's different from Francis and for him, it's not just about money.

I think that is quite of an understatement because Tyson Fury always looks like he doesn't care or that he is not taking things very seriously, even before then that is already his attitude, but don't you get swayed by those nonsense jokes and laugh because the air will be different once he steps in the ring against any other boxer or fighter that he will face.

I know that Francis Ngannou is preparing like he's still approaching to make a name for himself, but this is not his ordinary MMA fight where he always get the upper hand. This time, he is the opposite, and it is understandable why he is so serious about this fight because he doesn't want to get embarrassed by the public and think that he's just a clown against Fury, but the fact that he prepared for this fight for a couple of years makes it more thrilling to see.
