In the case of Inter and AC Milan, I agree with you fully as Milan didn't make the impression that even a chance for a come back could be in sight for them. Now Leao will return, which does definitely change the game up quite a bit, but usually Inter is a team that knows what to do to get over with those 90 minutes without conceding at least two or even more goals.

The Inter game will be very tactical and it will be all about the clock, which I actually hate when I watch soccer. I don't like it when teams literally stop playing soccer but instead play time-oriented only with fouls and other shenanigans. I hope that AC Milan can score an early goal, that would open up the competition again!

at this point I can say that my hypothesis of seeing Milan play in the final definitely vanishes
Inter played better, or at least, Inter were present and didn't make those two trivial mistakes that cost them goals
when you make a mistake in football (at a big level) you usually get punished
Inter has better players and more important better bench. They have a deep bench where Inzagi saved Lukaku for last 30min if the game was equal. I think if Milan doesn't score in first 15min in second leg Inter will have chill second semifinal.

It's true that Manchester City have never lost at home and they always manage to beat their opponents when they host. If we look at the matches in the previous rounds this season when Manchester City played away games against Bayern Munich and also Leipzig, most of them always ended in draws and most recently they also managed to hold Real Madrid to a draw at the Santiago Bernabeu.

It seems that Manchester City will still be favored to win at home regardless of what will happen, but still their opponent is Real Madrid, which sometimes can turn things around even at home. This will be a place to prove whether Manchester City is able to maintain its unbeaten record at home or Real Madrid manages to break this record at home to Manchester City later.
I don't think Real Madrid understand the idea of home and away because even away in the Champions league they will be playing at top level to ensure they win. My advice to Manchester City is to never expect Real Madrid to back down even at the Ethihad stadium, they will give everything to win.

Inter came out of the block in rapid fashion taking their rival with great surprise with two goals inside the neat within 15 minutes into the game the game would have been laid to rest after a dominant first-half display which saw Hakan hit the post and Var overturned a penalty decision. Despite their woeful start Milan improved after the break but they were little they could do to change the scoreline.

In this game Inter could almost do whatever they wanted because Milan didn't have the means to really threaten them inside their box.

Yesterday's match was a showcase of Inter's outstanding performance, which should have resulted in more than just 2 goals scored. Despite Milan's superior ball possession, Inter managed to create more chances. In the second leg, Milan will face a daunting challenge and their chances of overcoming the aggregate deficit are slim. I'm looking forward to the second leg because it's bound to be an emotional match, with AC Milan playing all-out.

With this in mind, there's a strong chance that Inter and Man City will meet in the final.

Currently, Inter may be the only team that has the most potential to go to the final as you said aggregate 2 goals and then Inter will play at home obviously that is another advantage, meanwhile between Manchester City vs Real Madrid can not be predicted who will go to the final. Manchester City does have potential but Madrid has experience in the Champions League so the opportunity is same IMO.
for the Inter Milan vs Ac Milan match, it might be a little easier to predict because it is indeed a difficult situation that Ac Milan is currently experiencing, the best player is injured and on the other hand Inter's aggregate is 2 points superior. well, from here it is clear that if Ac Milan wants to qualify for the finals Milan must be able to achieve a score of 3x the score of Inter in the second leg later. for example Inter Milan scores 1 and Ac Milan must at least score 4 scores, that is Ac Milan's difficulty which must be stronger with an aggregate score difference that puts more pressure on Ac Milan's players even though their mainstay players are injured.
different from Real Madrid and Man City who have a balanced aggregate score and who qualify for the final is the one who is able to score more and even though these two teams have the same strength.
Inter Milan is already in the finals, they have Champions league experienced and are more inform than Ac Milan, the second leg will determine who qualifies to the finals. but will stake for Inter milan.but football is unpredictable, anything can happen. the Real Madrid vs Manchester city is the only game that has no favourite , both team are potentials finalist. it will be difficult for Manchester city to beat Madrid at home as many as predicted, Real Madrid has no mate in champions football game, they are master on their own. don't be surprise Real Madrid will come to England and win Manchester city. but for now they have same chance to qualify.

The 2 quick goals scored by Inter Milan, at least it has shaken the mentality of the AC Milan players. It even took quite a long for Milan to find their rhythm. AC Milan played better in the second half and they actually had some good chances but it's a shame they couldn't take advantage of all of these opportunities. Milan still has a chance because there is still the Second Leg and it is very likely that Rafael Leao will be able to return to playing.
Yes, it is true that the goal created at the beginning of the first half clearly undermined the mentality of Milan players. If there was no quick goal that might be a very interesting match at least the score must be drawn until the first half.

After netting two goals from Simone Inzaghi began to appear to instruct his players to calm down and no longer in a hurry to attack and tend to maintain the defense line so that the Rossoneri began to get out of pressure. Behind 2 goals are certainly not easy for Pioli to pursue aggregate but I think the opportunity is still there as long as the game must be able to appear in totality.

Congratulations to Roma for the favour they got from bayer Leverkusen in the first leg that made their fans celebrated through out the day because the beginning of the match made many people feel bad about the results in the first half. But Roma coach gave words of advice to his players that made the match to changed positively in the second half to allowed Roma strikers to work together to achieved a goal at 63 minutes to reduced the strength and confidence of Bayer Leverkusen through out the match. Bayer Leverkusen really demonstrated well in the first half to make the match draw 0-0, but their defenders got weak in the second half that made Roma to defeated them 1-0.

Even though Inter has beaten Milan in all three meetings this season, we can't reach a conclusion just yet. I doubt there will be a turnover in the second leg, but this is the Champions League, where the impossible happens when we least expect it. Both teams are really enthusiastic about this match and hope to go to the final round. We'll keep an eye to see how they perform individually and as a team in their second leg battle.

I don't even think so. Ac milan has been performing use its best squads. The chance is pretty small for acmilan to comeback against intermilan in the second leg. Intermilan almost makes more goals if acmilan was not lucky enough caused by some shots were just hitting the crossbar.
Ac milan might be losing with huge scores against intermilan. Intermilan has not yet used lukaku. it will be even crazy if lukaku will able to play against milan in the second leg. The good result achieved by intermilan has been making simeone inzaghi will get another year in intermilan.

Leao was not playing in the first leg. Ac milan loses its sould. Attacking and defensive lines of ac milan were very weak compared with intermilan. The high pressure from intermilan has been making many acmilan players become frustrated.
Even though people called that ac milan can comeback anytime but i say big no for that. Ac milan will only able to make one or two goals in the second leg but it will not win the game against inter.
Intermilan is going back to the best performance again.

Inter Milan completed it well and they proactively attacked AC Milan very early and succeeded. I don't know what happened with Pioli and AC Milan players. Why they let Calabria to follow Dzeko in that corner kick? Calabria is weaker than Dzeko and it is a big defensive mistake from AC Milan. For a second goal, Inter Milan just did that counter attack too well.

Inter Milan grew up a lot in tactics and they are one of most dangerous teams with counter attacking. Di Marco and Barela are too energetic and bring lot of speed, energy for their counter attacking. At their front line, they have some great players who can support each other like Lautaro, Dzeko, Lukaku and they can contribute for proactively defense too.

Inter Milan have big advantage after the first leg and they can beat AC Milan after all. Their task is more simply than Manchester City task. Manchester City will have to win against Real Madrid at Etihad to join the final match. It is not easy like Inter Milan that only need a draw or a minimal lose to be winner for that tie.

Inter were just on their best yesterday if not their attack also hasn’t been great all season. The Milan played woefully in the first 25 minutes maybe they missed the presence of Rafael Leao in the attack. With this score line in the first leg I strongly doubt that Milan will triumph over inter in the second. As for the record inter has won all their games against Milan this year (3 out of 3) and this will give them the much pump they will need for the second leg.

Inter Milan played so well yeserday. I was expecting Inter to play good but this was more than I expected. Inter have the upper hand thanks to early strikes from Edin Dzeko and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Also, Inter could have won by a wider margin as Hakan Calhanoglu smashed a shot off the post and Dzeko wasted a great chance early in the second half.
Intermilan is always be like that. I meant its performance in UCL is far better compared with serie a . I don't even know what motivation that owned by intermilan but simeone inzaghi has been successfully bringing intermilan to the semi final of UCL. It's only one step closer to the final of UCL this season. that's a very amazing result for simeone inzaghi. It will be far better if intermilan will also able to get trophy this season. that's gonna be a great achievement by lukaku and his team.

Im so glad that if lukaku was also making comeback at the same time caused by many people were just blaming him due to the his bad performance with intermilan.
Lukaku could also become the main weapon owned by intermilan for the final. Dzeko is enough to be in the match against acmilan for the second leg.

I hope that inzaghi will keep lukaku for the match in the final against madrid/city.

I think it is difficult to draw a conclusion here yet. Inter hasn't faced one of the big teams during the knockout stage. I believe that we would have seen different results if they had to play against a team like Real Madrid or Manchester City. Now against Milan it looked easy, but Milan was also missing their most important player Leao. I new that if he is not going to play, the whole Milan game will lose so many facets in terms of speed, surprise moments, many options that the Milan game usually needs to keep the opponent busy. In this game Inter could almost do whatever they wanted because Milan didn't have the means to really threaten them inside their box.

Another UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg will be between Milan and Inter. "Derby della Madonnina" will be a great pleasure to watch. I feel like we will watch a very enjoyable match.  In my opinion, the favorite team is Inter. I would also like to watch Hakan Çalhanoğlu in the final. Milan's starting XI against Inter: Maignan, Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo Hernandez, Bennacer, Tonali, Brahim, Krunic, Saelemaekers, Giroud. Inter's starting XI against Milan : Onana, Darmian, Acerbi, Bastoni, Dumfries, Barella, Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco, Lautaro, Dzeko.

I was expecting an entertaining and intense game between these two clubs, but Inter's early two goals have made the game appear one-sided, with great pressure on Milan despite conceding two early goals. Milan had 0 shots on target, whereas Inter had 11 shots, three of which were on target. Milan must seize control of this game before it is too late; if the two-goal lead lasts until the end of the first half, I expect them to come prepared for a better second half to balance the game.
And now the first half will end and the score is still 0-2 in favor of Inter Milan.

I also hope that in the second half at least Ac Milan can play better. At the moment, another problem for Ac Milan is that they are too weak in possession and too many missed passes or poor passing accuracy are also another additional problem. They are always too quick to lose the ball. Maybe they need a new strategy for the second half later.

Let's see what will happen in the second half. Hopefully the running game becomes more interesting and not boring.
