That being said, they still have Mbappe and Messi as forwards so they are still incredibly strong in the offense no matter what. Maybe it can even be a good thing for them, because usually they have 3 players that are doing absolutely nothing to support the defense of their team, which is a very bad thing in modern football, now they only have 2 players missing in the defense.

It won't, i think that you should try to cosider the performance from chelsea in EPL. The Chelsea squad that was managed by Tuchel is probably enough to overturn this and qualify for the next round. Potter can't seem to find the right mix and the players are likely losing confidence on his style. Huge problem if they think he can't lead them.
