I can't wait for the resumption of the Champions league games because at this point it becomes more interesting and much more competitive. Bayern Munich against PSG is the game I am anticipating, I want to see how well PSG can react to the first leg loss, could they bounce back to defeat and knock Bayern Munich out? Chelsea still have an opportunity to redeem themselves in the Champions league when  they face  Dortmund in the second leg fixture. With a goal difference from the previous meeting. Chelsea fans will be hoping their team can make a surprise come back to win by aggregates.

They need to make sure that Pep's guys don't get a quick overwhelming advantage. Play it safe and then use their head , they don't have to score. Manchester City is the team that has to score here.

manchester city became a very inconsistent team, honestly it is very difficult to understand what goes on in guardiola's head, when he has a good result in a certain game, in the next game he changes the 11 that had a good result in the last game, he had a good squad of players that made city strong as a rock, but they sold them and brought in others, so the team is not the same as when they had gabriel jesus and others, honestly I don't see city playing well, it's true that there are times when they score a lot of goals, but their style of play is not a good style like in the past, when Kevin De Bruyne is on the field playing, the team has been performing well, but it is strange that Kevin De Bruyne It is no longer the best option for Guardiola, in short, anything can happen in the game against RBLeipzig, this city does not inspire confidence in me

What I thought when they had their game against Bristol City is that they are dependent on Kevin de Bruyne in top shape. It is a different game when he is at his best level because he is also the brain of the team. His precise passes that open space for an attack out of nowhere is difficult to defend. Sometimes even his own team mates are surprised when the pass suddenly happens.

When he plays against Leipzig and is fit it will be much more difficult for Leipzig to keep their defensive lines closed and safe. If the opponent has someone who can play passes like de Bruyne, you as a team are under much more pressure constantly for the whole 90 minutes. It is a higher burden on your concentration when you have to anticipate all those surprise runs and passes in free spaces that you thought are no option. He also knows how to score. Against Bristol he lifted his head for a second, knew he had a moment to focus the target and goal.

I still have big expectations from PSG even though they lost the first leg by 1-0. Nothing has finished for them and the away game in the second leg is also winnable for them.

I remember one time PSG beat Bayern Munich here again by 3-2. Maybe the same scenario will be seen again. However this time there is no away goal rule to advance to next stage. Therefore we might be likely to watch extra time and even penalties. I just don't think any side would manage to finish the job in 90 minutes. Mbappe and Messi will have big responsibilities to carry the team for certain if Neymar isn't able to play.

Chelsea's 1.83 to win looks like madness, especially given that this team has only one win and 4 goals scored in the last 11 games  Grin
At the same time, Dortmund's winning streak reached 9 games. From a logical point of view, a 2.00 Dortmund double chance bet looks like an easy pick and the easiest money. It looks so lucrative that I can't even figure out where the trap is.

Lol I find that's hilarious too, I'd rather go with Dortmund to win instead referring to the stats and their captain Silva just got injured again. Unless Chelsea sack Potter on the weekend after his another bad result against Leeds and get a decent coach immediately, their chance to win against Dortmund is absolutely low. I'll wait their result against Leeds first before making a bet on this match.

PSG can also win there with 0-3, that would not surprise me either. But that only works if Mbappe is fit, and he seems to be quite fit anyway. Bayern are also not in the very best phase at the moment and are certainly vulnerable.
It is very unlikely that PSG can go to the Allianz Arena and beat Bayern Munich 3-0, Bayern would have to be at their worst to lose by such a high margin at home, Bayern Munich didn't start the year well but they are beginning to garner some momentum, PSG too have struggled for quite sometime now, they are either dropping points or winning games by the skin of their teeth, so the two teams aren't at their absolute best, so talking about vulnerabilty i'd say it is pretty even.

Having said that, i think it is Bayern Munich that are going to advance, they are't the team under immense pressure, it is PSG, last season when PSG were eliminated in this same stage (RO16), they faced a lot of backlash from their fans which even resulted in some players being booed at home, they would have that at the back of their mind in this second leg game, and it could increase the pressure and make them less composed. It is Bayern Munich that's going to progress imo.
Bayern Munich lost with a score difference of 3 at home is something that impossible so I agree with you, even I'm not see Bayern performance is down in the domestic league currently they are still number one. They also successfully beat Union Berlin before so I'm not too sure if PSG will win at Allianz Arena, in my opinion also it's possible PSG can lose there because Bayern Munich attack squad is also getting more perfect after the return of Sadio Mane

With few minutes of having Kylian Mbappe, we had one of the most active and interesting game which saw two goals cancelled by var.
Those both goals were cancelled as a result of offside, but that only showed me the impact of Kylian Mbappe.
Having both Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe at least might do the trick even if Neymar Junior will be absent. The earlier th better they should not slow down this time, Bayern Munich did all they could to stop Parisans that night and it did worked.

That's right. Mbappe is a player that can change the game alone. He shows that in a lot of critical games. Neymar's absence might be more tolerable than him. Having both Mbappe and Messi on the field from the start is PSG's biggest weapon. Considering they need to score at least two times, I still would like to see the three of them together in such an important R16 game.

Before the second leg wasn't over then it wasn't over for Paris Saint Germain or any of the teams now in the round of 16, it's just that their chances are no better than the team that won the first leg. Paris Saint Germain has an adequate composition of players, it's just that the problem is that they are still unable to maximize the performance of their players in more prestigious competitions such as the Champions League.
PSG still has a very wide chance to qualify for the next round. because the second leg will be decisive for all the teams in the round of 16. I think even in the first leg we can see PSG having quite a good dominance of the game and their attacks have become even more dangerous to Bayern's goal after Mbappe came into play. so I think if Mbappe plays from the first half this time then PSG's possibility of getting a win in the second leg can really happen.

Exactly this one will be the most interesting match I want to see mostly because Bayern Munich is trying to recover from the bad performance they had before and on the other hand, PSG won't have Neymar in the team, maybe this time, also the game is on Allianz Arena where Bayern Munich can take benefits from playing at home, so maybe that's why Bayern Munich can have a better chance comparing the last game.

I wish we saw a full squad for both teams in a big game like this. Mbappe played only a few minutes in first match and now Neymar is officially out for second match. That might not be very bad thing for PSG though. Messi and Mbappe played excellent in their last league game, they may do the same against Bayern without Neymar as well. I didn't like how PSG played in the first game at all. They should play a different game in Germany.

Munich is indeed more favored, not only because they are already 1 goal ahead, but they will play the second leg at home, and that is an advantage for Munich to qualify for the next fake.
PSG will probably deploy all their great strength at the start of the match. including applying the pressing game from the start to catch up. Munich must anticipate this. if not or use tactics incorrectly, this could be a fatal punishment for Munich.

This is PSG's last chance to advance to the next round of the Champions League competitions; any delay could be fatal, so they must attack from the start in order to equalize. Tie goals could be disastrous for them, so they need to score more goals to take a comfortable lead over Bayern. Bayern is also prepared for this match, and there is no doubt that there will be a display of excellent football on that day.

The odds continue to favor Chelsea; it may be a trap, as you've assumed, but looking at it from another angle, you'll see that Chelsea has been given that odd because of the good reputation they've maintained in the Champions League over the years. They believe it is not impossible for them to perform a miracle at this time.

Bayern Munich's chances are far greater to qualify for the next round, compared to PSG's chances of making a comeback in the second leg, but Bayern Munich must also be wary of PSG because if Bayern Munich is off guard PSG can surprise and will punish them

Sometimes implementing a counter-attack strategy can also give good results, but if PSG don't have a good defense then implementing this strategy will also be dangerous. But yes, if I consider the squad that PSG has, then in reality PSG has quality players on every line and with that, PSG should be fine to implement any kind of gameplay.
So, basically an aggregate advantage with only one goal is not safe enough because PSG also has good ability to make a comeback.
Whatever strategy they will apply will certainly have risks, but in my opinion Paris Saint Germain must try to dominate the game and put pressure on the heart of the opponent's defense. Because if they only rely on counterattacks it will waste more time in my opinion, because with that strategy they have to wait for Bayern Munich to lose the ball and make mistakes. They are one goal down, that is a point for them. They have a good line of attack and they can use that to be able to exploit the defense built by Bayern Munich.

In full, PSG must be able to apply pressure away to Bayern Munich, so they can perform better than in the first leg, but I predict this match will be even fiercer.
According to Mbappe's role, it is very important for PSG when he is fit again and can duel with Messi, so that is the hope for PSG fans to be able to make a good debut, I know that Bayern Munich will maintain their advantage at home but life and death PSG is in the tip of the horn let alone they trailed by 1 goal.

bayern munich will be difficult to beat at the allianz arena because nagelsmann will try his best to convince his players to appear stronger in the match against psg. bayern munich has a strong mentality in the champions league even when they beat barcelona in the group phase they have shown the quality they have in the champions league. especially for Bayern Munich they will get power from Sadio Mane in this second leg. I think that is an important value in the depth of the Bayern Munich squad in this second leg.

for psg who are already behind by 1 goal will try to play more aggressively in the early minutes. well, it cannot be denied that carelessness in attacking will be fatal for them because this is an important match that will determine their fate.

Next week we will start again with the CL. It has been quiet for a while, but we are now pretty sure that Mbappe and his mates are fit enough to compete against Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich has the advantage of playing at home and has already won 0-1 in Paris, but what does that mean when you have to play against Mbappe and Messi? Perhaps the best 2 players in the world right now. PSG can also win there with 0-3, that would not surprise me either. But that only works if Mbappe is fit, and he seems to be quite fit anyway. Bayern are also not in the very best phase at the moment and are certainly vulnerable.
It is a very good news to understand that Mbappe is back and will feature in the second leg of the Champions League between PSG and Bayern Munich.
Mbappe Neymar and Messi should indisputably be the best attacking Force in Champions League this season. Which means it's might not be so difficult for PSG to upturn the results of the first leg between them and Bayern.

But in the other hand Bayern Munich is not a club that can easily go for a match and return goaless. They will either win with high margins or fight for a draw.

did you compare marseille was pretty much the same like bayern? Marseille was still far under bayern. PSG will be playing without even some of its player. Neymar may not able to play against bayern due to his injury. that being said that if bayern has more opportunity to make the defeat PSG. I just remind you that neymar was also playing a very important role in the club. The next game will be played at allianz arena. Bayern has more advantages compared with PSG.

Messi and mbappe were not even able to make PSG club perform so well in the local league.
Playing at home will make Bayern Munich even more favourites, apart from that the 1-0 victory they got at the Parc des Princes is a pretty good capital for Bayern Munich, so that in the second leg playing at home will be even more motivated to win. PSG must fight for devisit one goal first and must try not to concede in the early minutes, so that PSG is much more pressured to play compared to Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich's chances are far greater to qualify for the next round, compared to PSG's chances of making a comeback in the second leg, but Bayern Munich must also be wary of PSG because if Bayern Munich is off guard PSG can surprise and will punish them
Bayern has a better chance of qualifying to the next round which than PSG. They have a goal ahead which will make it more easy for them to qualify. Bayern gat the right players to make the winning possible but PSG have injured players which might be a big challenge for them to win the second leg in Bayern's home. Though, football cannot be predicted since it is full of surprises, PSG can still surprise their fans by winning Bayern in their home. A 2-0 or 3-1 victory will take PSG to the next round.

I think that so many times people said that anything could happpen sometimes for chelsea but chelsea keeps consistently getting zero point in EPL. This gonna greatly affect the match at the stamford bridge. If you are aware if chelsea's attacking pattern is the worst. The ball was rarely going to the its attacker. Chelsea just like only playing the ball to get ball possessions which is the worst in my opinion even compared with the mediocre club.

Chelsea was just lucky enough to be qualfiied for the last 16. Chelsea will not make it to enter into the last 8 caused by its performance is far under dortmund. Dortmund is now as good as bayern. Even though the bookies were favoring chelsea.

I see no chance for chelsea to win against dortmund.

The odds is very good for bayern.
