I would say that we should be prepared to see any result in the Champions League. There is no doubt that Manchester City are favourites. The Leipzig team is relatively weak. But don't forget that last season the mighty Bayern Munich lost against Villarreal and were eliminated from the Champions League. So there is no opportunity to see the Leipzig team as weak in any way. If Manchester City make any mistakes, they are likely to be eliminated.

Even so, I still feel the 50/50 chance is too big for Leipzig because seeing the condition of the players and the condition of Manchester City is clearly a favorite, especially when they play at home.
Maybe when you think 50/50 it reflects from the first leg match, but in this condition I think the first leg doesn't really have an impact because Manchester City doesn't seem to be playing seriously there so City's advantage for the second leg still looks quite real even though the match is still long.

I am not sure in next five or ten years, will Leipzig gain good achievement like Sevilla or Dortmund but they are at beginning of that exploration. Twenty years ago, none of us thought that Sevilla will be able to win 6 Europa League trophies but they did it. Leipzig can gain some big achievement in future with those talented people.

Confidence, mindset are good in Leipzig and those factors are risky factors for Manchester City. Leipzig will come to Etihad without fear that they will lose it. They have nothing to lose but Manchester City do have such fear after spending huge money for their success in Champions League but all failed so far.

Manchester City are in great form in the last games and Leipzig's chances for a rematch after their first draw are very slim.  If they knock out Manchester City in England, it will be the biggest surprise of the champions league.  The competition level of the German league is not at the Premier league level.  One of the things that keeps Manchester City in shape is the matches they play with strong teams in the tough Premier league.

You can’t conclude yet, the game is a 50/50 game in the sense that anything can happen. Leipzig is a team that can perform wonders when you least expect. In other hand, Manchester city won’t trade their Champions league next round for any other thing. They will come with a full force and Leipzig will be prepared for them as well.

generally speaking, 1.46 odds are pretty low, but for Manchester City to win in their stadium against Leipzig it's not really that low, i would say it's quite high considering the quality of the players they both have, Man City is a way better team than Leipzig, maybe the difficulty that Man city faced against them in the 1st leg had a role.

The target that never achieved by manchester city. Even pep was also saying that if he will be wasting all of his time to make sure he will get a UCL trophy with manchester city. The problem is city will be facing so many strong team. The team like real madrid, bayern will be also aiming the same thing like manchester city. Im feeling doubt if city can perform so well in the next round as it may possible for city to face bayern or real madrid.

I think that if city will be facing another disaster if the draw will be making city to face one of big team like bayern or real madrid. There's no team that didn't wanna face both of clubs in UCL.

Manchester City's main target now is the Champions League. They have fallen far behind in the Premier League. And so now they will try their best to do well in the Champions League. Manchester City drew in the first leg. And so City has no choice but to win the second leg. Also, Manchester City is a stronger team than Leipzig. Even so, I would say Manchester City can't win even after being favorites in the first leg. So it won't be easy for City to win the second leg. Boss Guardiola will make a big mistake if he thinks the Leipzig team is weak.

so true. the same as in the first leg match. Manchester City was able to dominate the match even though it was at the opponent's cage. and there is no doubt that in the second leg match Man City will play more comfortably and have a high enough chance of victory. because playing at the Etihad Stadium will definitely affect the enthusiasm of the Man City players. so that it will play more optimally. in the first leg Haaland didn't get many chances. but I'm pretty sure in the second leg Haaland will get a lot of chances and score.

Manchester City dominated in the first leg match and they were only unluckily to let Leipzig score a very late equalizer goal. No doubt that they will create a same or even more dominance in a second leg match at their stadium Etihad.

A chance for Leipzig to find goals in a second leg is very slim and they can easily be broken by Manchester City. With Manchester City, if they score goals first, they will create many more opportunities and if their players can convert those chances to goals, they will destroy Leipzig shortly.

Haaland is a player can destroy opponent defenders well too and when he is on fire, it is impossible to stop him.

Best position that could happen to Bayern. Beating Union Berlin and then seeing Dortmund play against Leipzig next. If anything is going to make this season interesting, Dortmund must win this game I guess.

I thought that Union Berlin is a hard nut to crack, but in this game Bayern was just superior.

For now it comes down to Dortmund.

A big challenge for leipzig to play in etihad stadium. After a bad result achieved by leipzig in the red bull arena and it's now for city to do revenge in the etihad stadium. City's odd can also be considered as very small odd but that looks good enough



Leipzig's odd is big. We do know that if city has become most favorite team in the second leg. The draw against leipzig in the first leg has been giving more advantage to the manchester city. It's caused by city has a very good record to play at home. I see no chance for leipzig to win against city but none knows what's gonna happen. Leipzig could win if that was lucky enough against city.

Yes I also don't see a chance for Leipzig to win at Etihad, because Manchester City have advantage there as home team, also Bruyne has recovered and he can play in the second leg. I'm sure with Bruyne, he will create good opportunity for Haaland to scored, so it will be an absolute win for Manchester City. Even I think with a big score, anyway Guardiola have a lot experience in UCL and he knows what he has to do in second leg.

Manchester City did not make mistakes in their first leg in the Champions League. What they did was actually the best that they could do because they went to the match without their strong midfielder.
When the returning leg will happen. I have no doubt that Manchester City is going to qualify for the next round with high number of goals that will be scored . Manchester City is bigger than Leipzig in Champions League competitions

Of course the game is still open, PSG only lost by a goal to nil, and for a team like PSG with world class players, turning the game on its head should not be something that is beyond them. But if PSG are to ever get anything from this game, then they must change the approach they employed in the first leg game, i expect them to do that anyway, Mbappe is back, and they play better with him than without him. Though Neymar is absent, but i think they'd be able to cover up for him pretty well.

Having said that, it still remains advantage Bayern Munich, and the return leg would be played in their home, i am rooting for them to finish the game off in the second leg. I am predicting a draw, which would obviously favor Bayern Munich and see them progress.

Leipzig aren't a small team indeed but I still don't see their chance much high against Manchester City honestly.

Manchester City are very highly favoured on paper obviously. The first leg was pretty surprising indeed. Who could have thought that Manchester City would play like that. There were two different teams in both halves. I think Guardiola will prepare his players very well for the rematch. I don't think Leipzig can find many goal opportunities this time. I expect a total domination by Manchester City and a decent win in Etihad.

The last time played a game against each other Leipzig performed pretty well and could get a draw from the game while Manchester City was in good shape and they are racing in the premier league while they are the second teams in the table right now with one game more than Arsenal and they can even have the chance for the first place while manchester City played three times against Leipzig they got one draw one loses and one win which is interesting and this can make the match they are going to have unpredictable.
