Leipzig played well throughout their home game, that was what they hoped for the most in the first leg.
Haaland was completely isolated throughout the match because it was difficult for the Manchester City players to find Haaland due to his high defensive line. I wasn't surprised by the result of the match because I watched the match too but unfortunately Manchester City struggled to score more goals even though they had some good chances.

I think the second leg will be better because I found it a bit boring with the way both teams played in the first leg. Manchester City dominated the match so that Leipzig did not get much of the ball and build attacks. After all, Leipzig only took advantage of a corner kick to equalize, and they managed to end the match 1-1.

Liverpool's performance was not good enough to beat Real Madrid but still, they started the game while they could score two goals agist Real Madrid which was not bad also don't forget that Liverpool with Klopp is not on good days yet but just a few minutes after the scored the second goal Real Madrid could start the comeback they could score five goals thanks to the superstars they got but generally this was not too hard to predict if you consider and compare the situation of both teams.

There's no creative midfielder like de bruyne in city. Bernardo silve is not as good as what already expected before. Manchester city is so underperforming against leipzig.

Liverpool's meeting with Madrid in the top 16 phases was quite surprising. because indeed the two big teams are the ones who have the opportunity to meet in the final. but what happened of course made one of the two have to fall.

And I think the Manchester City players in the second half looked tired too. what I saw was that there were no substitutions at Manchester city in that match. or maybe i missed it?

I can see Leipzig were performing better in the second half that they got several attempts to scores goals and it makes Leipzig can equalized the score but Leipzig missed the opportunities to win the match at home and this result was extremely unfavorable for them because for second leg they will playing away at Manchester City home and this would be hard match for them
And for Manchester City this result indeed not too satisfied because before the match most people including me predict they will overcomes Leipzig but at least they didn't lose from this match and for second leg i am sure Manchester City will performing better and win the match

I had already knew that the game would be difficult for Manchester city as Debruyne wasn’t in the line up. Manchester City players didn’t play Haaland at all, even when he makes timed runs they decided to play the ball backwards and rebuild and that's very unfair of them which will cost the team. No speed no urgency, lazy back passes, no serious sustained attack, who will tell Pep to be making changes early. At this rate any silverware will be a tall order. Poor play.
