Dortmund is not doing well in the Bundesliga, Chelsea are playing unsuccessful matches in the Premier league. I'm quite curious about the pairing between the two. If there is one thing I know, it is that I am eagerly waiting for this match to be played. Chelsea's players are better and they're a few qualities better than Dortmund. Dortmund will try hard and they definitely have a chance. Still, as I said, I see Chelsea as the team that is close to passing the round.

I also think that Real Madrid is definitely not among the big favorites to win the Champions league this season. Other teams like Manchester City, Paris saint germain or Bayern Munich just seem to be way stronger. I also think that this not really mean that much though. Just remember what happened in the last season. Back then Real was in a wad worse shape than they are in this year and still they have managed to win the CL back then. There was a lot of luck involved, but still.

Manchester City is favorite this season too. They have a strong squad. Even then I can't say for sure that they will win the title. PSG or Real Madrid are equally likely to win the title. But at the moment, Manchester City's performance is slightly more stable than PSG or Real Madrid.

I have to agree with the assumption that the Champions League has different interests than every team there is. Chelsea are indeed in a disadvantageous condition in the Premier League, but it looks like they are not allowing conditions to be as bad in the Champions League against Dortmund.

The chance will be equal for both teams, but Chelsea are the favorites over Dortmund in the Champions League. If Haaland was still in Dortmund, then I think Dortmund would be the favourites. I like Chelsea to reach the quarter-finals, but Dortmund for whatever reason will definitely try to give their best to win it. I just don't want to say Chelsea are better, but they are an experienced team in the Champions League.

The match between Chelsea and Dortmund looks more likely, as Chelsea's current performance is not very good. In other words, Dortmund is ahead of Chelsea in terms of performance. Hope this match will be very competitive.

Please even with Haaland at the club they still won't have been the favorite. Haaland with all the talents at Manchester city that he has at his service can't still perform against Chelsea. I'm not talking about the team entirely but just the individual performance by Haaland. For Manchester city to even destroy us they had to bench Haaland. A typical number 9 is easier to defend against then a false 9. Last year tournament Chelsea were right there up to the round of 16 but we're eliminated by the team that went on to win the tournament which we still defeated at the second leg.

Chelsea are definitely a force at the champions League level, we have been making name for ourselves recently and that have earn up two trophies. It mightn't be much in numbers but when it comes to the champion league, that's definitely a big flex. What has Dortmund gotten, they're a small club and one who Chelsea doesn't have to stress themselves against to win them.

Normally I would have expected Tottenham to be better than this in the Champions League. Because after seeing their start to this season I had bigger expectations. Conte's system was working like a clockwork. However things started to change not much time later. It reflected on their performance in this tournament as well. They had quite big difficulties in some matches in the group stage. Milan seemed weak against Chelsea but they are given more chance against Tottenham now. I guess, Tottenham will surely make improvement in their next game since their coach is still doing some things that will make them improve like the way they are improving in the premier league competition. Tottenham have a good defenders but their midfielders always let their strength to reduce in the second half some time, which are part of things their coach need to impact his players before their next game. Milan defense was so strong from the beginning of this tournament but their defense started reducing few months ago which their coach can still do something about it before the end of the season.

a fairly similar situation also seems to be experienced by Dortmund. he has also been unstable this season. so their meeting against Chelsea I think is quite fair with the condition of the two of them which is not like last season.
anything can happen in European competitions. those who don't perform well in the league can be very attractive when playing for the Champions League. I can't predict this fight, but both of them will perform optimally for a very decisive match.
