The reason that PSG is not the favorite for the title now has everything to do with the draw in which they play against Bayern Munich. Manchester City plays against RB Leipzig, which explains the divergent odds. If PSG manage to get through this round unscathed, then both teams will be back on the same odds. I always like to see outsiders at a tournament, maybe we should count Napoli among the outsiders. Apart from them and the favourites, I don't see any surprises happening in this season of the CL. But we will know more in February.
It is easier for Manchester City to meet against RB Leipzig than other great teams that have met each other and of course a difficult match for other teams including PSG, Manchester city is easier to face RB and will qualify for the next round  Wink

Leipzig are not a tough opponent for Manchester City. A relatively weak team is Leipzig. But there is no way to ignore this team. Smaller teams often win against bigger teams in the Champions League. Last season we saw Villarreal's great performances. And so if Manchester City want to qualify for the next round then they must play well. If they don't play well or make any tactical mistakes, they won't be able to win against Leipzig.

I think that Leipzig beat Real Madrid but that does not mean anything as Real was already qualified,in the games where Leipzig needed to win they have not been that good and convincing as a team.I believe Manchester City is going to have a very easy game against them and the qualification I believe to be a sure thing,I am not underestimating Leipzig, only judging objectively and by doing so Manchester City has a super squad compared to Leipzig in quality so it is only normal for them to qualify and yes I think they can afford some tactical mistakes during this game, the difference in quality permits that.

If Kylian Mbappe somehow joins Real Madrid, their team will become very strong. Kylian Mbappe is one of the best players in the world right now and the rest of the France team are also great young players who have performed well this World Cup. So I hope that if Kylian Mbappe joins Real Madrid unfortunately then Real Madrid will become a super strong team.
Real Madrid are already strong, if there have a talented young striker like Mbappe then it is true that Real Madrid will be very strong, like Manchester City with Haaland. UCL is not easy at all, for any big club a small mistake can be very big. By the way, I can't wait to see Bayern Munich, which has consistently won with perfect points so far, against PSG in February. Which team do you think will win?
Seeing Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe together on a pitch gives great confidence. If Mbappe continues playing with Messi I think is a close thing to him playing with Ronaldo who was his football role model. I've heard rumors that Mbappe and Lionel Messi are not on good terms, but I know it's just a rumor because Mbappe's speech after the world cup shows he is really happy to play with Messi in the same team. An attacking line that involves Messi, Mbappe, and Neymar will be too dangerous to stand against, with this I think PSG has the upper hand in winning the match against Bayern Munich

It makes sense what you're saying and I agree if pulling Mbappe using Ronaldo's pass it will obviously be even more convincing. At least so far, Mbappe has always wanted to play in the same team as his idol. I don't know how in the end, if there is nothing that can give Mbappe more traction, let alone hearing Ronaldo go to Al Nassr, Mbappe will continue to stay at PSG.
This remains a risk because in any case we also have to be aware that financial fairplay still applies and we can also imagine how much money must be spent when bringing these 2 superior players at the same time with a large salary, especially since they also brought Endrick some time ago with 70 million so it's definitely going to be very difficult and I personally don't really like schemes like this because it's just a waste of money.

For us at least it's just a waste, but for business people to spend a lot of money on luxury players then they won't think it's just a waste of money. Because in the end they will still give the market high sales so they will always get returns, and I think now there are a lot of big teams with lots of luxury players and they are still doing well.
Unless so far there are no big teams that have a lot of fancy players in their squad, then it can be assumed they still have the consideration to spend a lot of money.

But apart from that, I personally still believe that Mbappe will still play for PSG because their team-mates are also in top form.
So before things get worse, there's nothing wrong with Mbappe staying at PSG because playing for another team also still doesn't guarantee winning the Champions League title easily.
Will it be worth the expenses made from the purchase as well as the salary given? I think they also have to be aware of how much they have to spend if there is one club that wants two different generations of players to be brought together. Even though I admit that there will definitely be a lot of new investors or sponsorships but I think this is just to cover their expenses regardless of anything something like this will never happen.

As for Mbappe, I would be quite happy if indeed he did not go to Madrid, especially with the rejection he had made before.

Yes it does, people are yet to understand how influencing Ronaldo is in the sport, just because of playing with Ronaldo at old Trafford, Jesse Lingard gave up his spot at his former club (which he was on loan to) and returned to Manchester united which he knows he won't be getting much match playing time compare to his loan club which he was doing so well at and starting almost every game. Ronaldo is like a God in terms of influencing younger generation and almost majority of the youth currently at their peak will love to play with him.

There's no doubt the chances of Mbappe accepting Real Madrid offer would had been higher if Ronaldo was still playing at the club. At the moment there's nothing interesting Mbappe in Real Madrid, PSG are quite capable of winning the champions league as much as Real Madrid is. Infact this season, PSG has more advantage due to the form of Neymar, Messi and Mbappe.

Cristiano Ronaldo joining Al Nasser club will do him a lot of good to further his career. He will be well-respected at this club and will get every match, hopefully leading to a good end to his career.
He will become the player with biggest salary in the world. I would not be surprised that if at the end of story ronaldo will pick al nassr to be its next club. This time ronaldo was picking a club that gives him good offer of salary. It seems like that ronaldo is not ambitious again to get a club that played in UCL.
I hope that ronaldo consider it as the right decision for his career.
Of course the choice is very right to choose the highest salary at an age that is no longer young, and I, if in Ronaldo's position, would choose the same thing. For the right reasons, Ronaldo no longer shines in the top leagues including the UCL because there are already many talented and very fresh young players.
The big leagues will really consider if they want Ronaldo and make their club shine, because his running speed and ball possession are very easy to get and also chase.

In my opinion, Real Madrid won't give up to try signing Mbappe. He is the most potential striker, especially after Mbappe performed brilliantly in the world cup tournament. Sure, PSG won't let Mbappe to leave before the season ends. Real Madrid only has a chance to make an offer after Mbappe finishes this season with PSG. As far as I know, Mbappe still has a dream to be a part of Real Madrid squad. It is his dream since he was a kid, he won't forget about it.

His dream was to play with Ronaldo and not just to play for Real Madrid, if Madrid really needs Mbappe service then they should give Ronaldo another chance to play for the club even though it's just for 1/2 years and use that time to draw Mbappe to the club. Mbappe lost interest in Real Madrid because his idol isn't playing for the club anymore and the disrespect the club showed to Ronaldo. Now Mbappe is losing interest in PSG as well because they didn't give him what they promised and the club is putting the whole attention on Messi.
It makes sense what you're saying and I agree if pulling Mbappe using Ronaldo's pass it will obviously be even more convincing. At least so far, Mbappe has always wanted to play in the same team as his idol. Sometimes a player's wish will never come true, what else do we know that PSG players are already star-studded, so it's impossible if the PSG president will bring in Ronaldo, because the squad that PSG has is really strong, Mbappe really wants to play with his idol but  destiny said otherwise, Cristiano Ronaldo actually accepted the offer of a club from the Middle East, that it was very clear that Ronaldo really wanted to spend his old age at Al Nassr, so that was a decision that I thought was right and good for him..

What if PSG wins UCL this year and Messi achieves a perfect season ? that could be one for history books. Regarding Mbappe , I could see him leaving in the summer but it all depends on this last UCL season and also how his relationship with Messi will evolve after WC final as I'm sure some scores still must be settle between them even if for now everything looks friendly Cheesy. I'm also curious how first games of PSG will be as I'm not expecting a lot of team play Grin Grin
I don't think the relationship between messi and mbappe will be affected since mbappe has already won the world cup i think he will be more motivated than ever to win the champions league now that he lost the world cup the same goes for neymar i personally think its a matter of time before psg or man city win the champions league considering the quality players they have every season.
It is very possible, the Argentina team made fun of mbappe in the dressing room and the fans also mocked him on the pitch and online too. Messi said nothing to rebuke his teammates, all this could stir up misunderstandings and create a rift between two players in a team. I just hope this wouldn't cause problems in the PSG dressing room because if it does it can go ahead to affect the team's performance when their in no unity in the dressing room. The club has to do something to avoid escalating any troubles from this.

Psg and manchester city indeed have great players but winning the champions league has been  a major problem for the both teams, and why is that? Playing in the champions league has to do with experience and most club lack players with experience that have been there and know how to handle the pressure the champions league brings. Psg however have a better chance this time because their team is currently at their highest pick of strength and with two of their world class currently in their best form , i think they have both the quality and the experience now to win the champions league.

If PSG and Messi win the UCL this season, of course it will make a historic achievement and will add to Messi's trophy collection list. Currently in all the careers that have been achieved with Messi there are a total of 43 trophies and only 1 trophy adrift from Dani Alves who collected 44 trophies, with this Messi and Dani Alves' records will be equal. If Messi can still be consistent with PSG in the next season, of course he will be able to surpass Dani Alves' trophy haul.
I don't think it's a problem that Messi will equal Dani Alves' trophy record. but the Champions League trophy is indeed a big ambition of PSG. even with an expensive squad they still have trouble bringing home the Champions League trophy.
That's because the competitors come from strong European clubs. their feelings are certainly different from the trophy in the French Ligue 1. PSG has dominated there.

Yes, that's right, the only problem that is so visible in Real Madrid's body now is that they lack a striker who can be relied on to replace a Benzema who has been sidelined due to injury. It is predicted that Mbappe will be able to give color to Real Madrid's game, but with how difficult it was for them to sign Mbappe, I don't think we will see Mbappe in Real Madrid's uniform in the near future. They must look for quality players for the vacant positions up front, apart from Mbappe.

Madrid are still going to try and get Mbappe. He's worth it. Although if I was Madrid I'll take my eyes off Mbappe. What they need is a striker and a world class left footed right winger. Now let's assume they got Mbappe when they went for him, don't you think it would have caused issues? Vinicius plays in Mbappe's preferred position and even though he's can play the top 9 and right wing position, he's at his best in the left wing position.

Madrid need to focus on getting a top striker and a winger. Then there's the issue of their midfield. Kross and Modric won't be around forever and contrary to what people think, Velverde, Touchmeni and Camavinga can't replicate what their predecessors did at Madrid.

I disagree. What was 4 years ago is not relevant to what is happening now.
Mbappe wants to be the main star of the club, but he can't do that while Neymar and Messi play in the club.
The public mocking and humiliation of Mbappe among the Argentine players after the final will not help Mbappe repair his personal relationship with Messi.
The biggest victim of these tensions between the players will be the club itself.
If Messi stays at PSG, I think it's a very possible scenario that Mbappe ends up going to Real.

Don't forget, Benzema just won the Ballon D'Or. even though he is already 35 years old, Don Carlo still entrusts him to be the main starter in his team. if Real Madrid really urgently needs a center forward this January, I'm sure they won't hesitate to bring in newcomers. although currently, Kylian Mbappe has been linked again with Los Blancos. however, there has been no official statement regarding his upcoming January transfer window. after all, I highly doubt it for this season. because after all, Benzema still deserves to be a core player in his squad.

after all, there is something more urgent that Real Madrid needs. if we remember the age of Luca Modric, who has entered 37 years. because of that, Madrid is currently very interested in the midfielder from Benfica. yes, Enzo Fernandez was the target of several clubs including Liverpool.

IMO, I still believe that Benzema will continue to contribute to El Real, at least until this season ends.
Carlo  Ancelotti still priority with Karim Benzema although he was 35 years old, Champion League tittle achievement and got Ballon D'Or seems age is not matter for Karim Benzema give more contribution with Real Madrid. Left two weeks later January window transfer opening still not have rumor yet from have newcomer actually with attacking line player.

Have possibility for Karim Benzema with consistency performance until two or three years later, learned with Luka Modric although have reached 37 years old right now still as midfielder priority under Carlo Ancelotti, almost in La Liga and Champion League matches, Modric get regular position and including in starting eleven.
