It is interesting to see that there are still people who think that it was all just luck about Real Madrid's Champions League title in the previous season.

How can you win the biggest title in Europe with only luck? Real Madrid played amazingly well as a team. The team performance and of course Benzema's impressive scoring skills were the most important factors in making it to the title. Of course I accept that there were some times they had really big difficulties. The Manchester City matchup would be the best example for this. Real Madrid were nearly being eliminated by them. But that comeback in the last moments is still unforgettable as it was spectacular.
Sometimes you know that a team that struggle either in domestic league or even since the champions league group stage are the one who winning it .. look at barcelona 2014-2015 journey into champions league winner .. tey are in a tough group and struggling .. look at inter milan 2009-2010 journey and chelsea in 2020-2021.

They are all struggling yet winning it as champions league is not an easy competition and no luck mentioned fully win it.

I agree with you that Ligue 1 is not as good as La Liga or EPL, but still PSG is an excellent club, which shows good results not only in domestic league but also in Champions League... I think that for Mbappe it is also a good start to his career and probably no one doubts that he will play for other titled clubs... Of course every player's dream is Real Madrid but for example Messi achieved a lot without playing for Real...
Ligue 1 is a good league, it is one of the popular leagues in the world. But it is true that Ligue 1 isn't as competitive as EPL, La Liga, or Serie A. Mbappe surely needs a more competitive league to improve his ability and his career, too. Haaland already did it, he wants a better career and he choose Man City to make it real. If Mbappe has a dream to be the number 1 player in the world, he should follow Haaland. Real Madrid wants to sign him with an interesting offer, so why not try it?

I guess these aren't so good performance with having top 3 best players of the world.
Agree. With Messi-Mbappe-Neymar, people expect more of PSG in the UCL.
But in fact, PSG never reached the final round. The best achievement that they can get, is to reach the semifinal round.
Yep, it is not really good performance, PSG should be better in UCL (best international competition).

They were dumb people who can't accept the truth even fifa has been telling us what's the real story https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/history/winners/ madrid is king of UCL,

Those people are really stupid or they can't accept the truth. I meant look at the history of real madrid in champion league already enough to prove that if real madrid was king of UCL. Stupid fans will always say like that. Their motivation were to hatred madrid and no more. City was never winning this title. It's a poor team.

I cannot agree with you. Real Madrid were very lucky to win the title last season. At the same time, Benzema's consistently good performances helped Madrid win the Champions League title. But this season Benzema's fitness is not good. He is unable to stay with the squad due to injury. I think Real Madrid will be eliminated in the semi-finals.
It's also not certain that this will happen to Real Madrid, because the Champions League itself hasn't reached the semifinals so there are many other possibilities that could happen beyond what many people expect, and I don't think this should be judged too early for Real Madrid. Because the last 16 matches haven't started yet, it's still difficult to know whether Real Madrid will be able to survive until the final or will even be overwhelmed in the last 16.
Real Madrid were too good last season that was why they won the Champions league and their Lalliga trophy, and also,Karim Benzema was also very good at scoring goals, coming out to be the highest scorer in Lalliga.Every season carries another spirit, they were all in one spirit last season, and they were able to continue the race till the end.
They could not be thesame way they were last season because the mumentum is no longer there, and  injury has also made some of the key players inconsistent this season. It is yet to be known were their position will be by the end of this season.

Bayern Munich is a team that is a great opponent against any big team. All the players in the team play a very responsible game and have a great understanding among all. Currently, one of the best players in the team has joined Sadio Mane who will be able to perform well if he adapts to the players in the team.

No Bayern Munich aren't strong when they pay top teams instead they're superior to the smaller teams and destroys them with goals. They lack the experience to win big games as when they get to face equal teams on strength they get knocked out which is why we don't see them winning the tournament often although we hear about the goals they score their opponents when they play during the group stages.

Sadio Mane has already adopted to team which is why he's been used often that lead to his injury resulting to him missing the world cup. Sadio Mane can fit perfectly into any team due to the work rate he brings to the team. We have watched Bayern Munich play and seen how impactive Sadio Mane has been when he's on the pitch. I don't think that'll be lost when he returns from his injury instead it'll just keep getting better. I see Sadio Mane winning lots of trophys with the current Bayern Munich team and the champions league might just be one of them.

It is interesting to see that there are still people who think that it was all just luck about Real Madrid's Champions League title in the previous season.
Luck only lies with those in the spectator seats placing bets. Meanwhile, those on the field need to work hard to win. We must be able to understand first how it is said with luck. Luck is something that is obtained accidentally, or without having to make maximum effort. For example, if a soccer player throws a ball into the audience, then one of the thousands of spectators who gets it is said to be 'luck'. Can we say that Real Madrid won a victory just by relaxing on the field? Of course not.

I think it's a mistake to still say this is luck.
At least we also have to be aware that how luck comes several times from the top 16 to the final. It's really cute.

They won the championship and that was their ability especially from the way they made an all out scheme in the last 10 minutes which they always did. It's not luck but mentality and experience speak volumes in this regard.

I think he's been one of the most notable names for a long time, and we'll probably keep talking about this actor for the next 15 years. He has such a good performance that no one can object, he really did wonders in the world cup, but it is not easy to be a champion alone.
If the rumors are true and he is transferred to Real Madrid, he will be in the right team to win the Champions League Smiley
The fact that he has not been able to bring his country to a championship is painful for him. However, it is true that football is about the team. He still has a few more years to take part in the World Cup again. Hopefully his performances at the clubs will also improve after this World Cup.
Oh, it will be very big news if Mbappe can go to Madrid. However, this might be difficult if there are strong parties who want Mbappe to still be at PSG. moreover, Messi probably won't be at PSG for long, so PSG will definitely defend Mbappe more, especially with his performance during the World Cup.

It is interesting to see that there are still people who think that it was all just luck about Real Madrid's Champions League title in the previous season.
It is not only funny but it is a fool that considers Real Madrid victory in the previous Champions League was just luck. They might be the fans of clubs which lost to Madrid  Cheesy Grin
Madrid has a strong solid, consistency, and strong squad that was able to optimize every chance, they had Benzema that accepted also Ballon d'Or, and they also have a smart coach that could be able to make the right strategy at the right time. So, this is about the unit of all efforts, not luck.

It isn't always about having a strong squad as that without experience is nothing. This isn't the first time Manchester city are having a strong squad, since the takeover by the City Football Group Limited and Pep Guardiola, have always had a strong squad but have failed to win the tournament. Also Real Madrid didn't need a strong squad last season to win the tournament instead they had experience both on and off the field. Mbappe going to real Madrid doesn't guarantee them winning the tournament although it will strengthen their campaign because they now have more speed in the team which they can use against their opponent.
Competition in the Champions League is so tight, the composition of the players owned by many clubs does not guarantee they can win the Champions League, Bayern Munich, PSG and Manchester City had the perfect squad last season. But in fact it was Real Madrid who managed to come out as champions. That is, the strength of the players owned by any club cannot fully guarantee becoming a champion.

Real Madrid is superior in terms of experience and the winning mentality they have is difficult to beat, especially if they have reached the semi-finals and finals.
Here I partially agreed with you about the teams and their strength but about Real Madrid you are completely wrong they were not experienced team just Karim Benzema was the star player mostly others were quality and skilled but having not experience which was having teams like PSG, Bayern Munich and Manchester City with their composition was also amazing which give them shocking win in all high tempo games, and they kicked out few top ranked teams without any hassle now things are completely different with injuries and transfers bring changes in teams, and we can expect tough challenge for the title mostly after break first knock out round could be vital, and we will be able to have better update about the winner of the title for the season.

Even many are believing now Real Madrid is not near their best as they have in last year, and we will be having Manchester City or PSG as champions, but still few teams like Napoli and Liverpool can also shock the soccer fans.

This era has already arrived. If Mbappe had been promoted as it was at the beginning of Messi's career, then he would already have a 3-4 balloon D'Ors.
As for the results, they are also eloquent: in 2022, Mbappe scored 55 goals in 55 games, and Haaland 43 goals in 41 games. With Mbappe's phenomenal World Cup performance and Haaland's excellent goalscoring schedule for City, it's clear who will compete for the top 1 in the coming years.

What do you mean by if Mbappe had been promoted as Messi he would have won 3-4 Balon d'or? What kind of bs is that? When has Mbappe ever deserved the Balon d'or in his career and has not received it? Has he ever won the champions league? Has he ever won the European golden shoe? What about the uefa best player? Even the world cup France won in 2018, he was not the best player of his team (he won the best young player of the tournament).

Are you trying to use Mbappe to downplay Messi? Have you check what Messi did at 24? How many goals and assist he had at that age?
And this thing you guys do by only considering the highest goal scorers as candidates for balon d'or is funny. There's an award for been the highest goal scorer. Because you're the highest goal scorer doesn't make you the best player in the world. Football is way more than just that.

There has been no point in Mbappe's career yet that he was denied a balon d'or or where he was in a pole position to win the Balon d'or. He'll definitely win it in future at this rate but don't make it look like he has done more than Messi at age 24.

Leipzig are not a tough opponent for Manchester City. A relatively weak team is Leipzig. But there is no way to ignore this team. Smaller teams often win against bigger teams in the Champions League. Last season we saw Villarreal's great performances. And so if Manchester City want to qualify for the next round then they must play well. If they don't play well or make any tactical mistakes, they won't be able to win against Leipzig.
yes, that's the chance for the Manchester City club to qualify for the next round if they beat Leipzig, in contrast to other teams that face great teams and of course it takes more energy to come out victorious, for example PSG vs Bayern Munich and Real Madrid vs Liverpool are also very difficult matches and it's also worth watching, I'm sure Manchester City will play well against Leipzig later and qualify for the next round  Wink
Now it's fairly easy match for the Manchester City because RB Leipzig is going to sell their star player which is going to have big impact on their performance for the future because he was clearly top rank player with quality and skills were also having big impact on these team's recent success, but things are changing quickly, and RB Leipzig is now having not enough quality to compete with top team of English Premier League for the qualification of quarterfinal spot.

RB Leipzig as play against Real Madrid which is currently defending champions this was surprising for the UEFA fans because no one was expecting result like this but Champions League is competition of shocks and unpredictable results things happen like these usually.

I think it would be really unfair to say that Mbappe will never match Messi's achievements so far. Because Mbappe is still a very young superstar now. He has long years ahead of him to achieve many titles. I don't mean the Ligue 1 titles of course. Because they are already too easy for PSG to win as they are the strongest team in the league by far. I mean the Champions League titles and Ballon d'Or prize. These are the most important achievements for a player to be a legend I think.

Messi has 4 Champions League titles and 7 Ballon d'Ors achieved so far. Mbappe has still none of them of course. But he can still achieve these if he makes his team choice right. If PSG don't win the Champions League title this season and Mbappe doesn't get a Ballon d'Or again then he would seriously think of leaving. His next team would be Real Madrid where he can be much more successful.
I don't think anyone is saying that Kylian Mbappe will never match the achievements of Messi. But to achieve the success achieved by Messi will be very difficult for him to do. He is very capable of matching Messi's achievements or even exceeding what Messi has achieved to this day, he is still very young, but he must get out of his comfort zone as soon as possible to further hone the abilities he has, he must also increase his flying hours and go to more competitive league. La Liga or the Premier League would be a good place for him to add the flying hours he needs.
I agreed about this all because every player is capable of doing anything which is possible in humans approach records are making and breaking for years and no one can stop this all Kylian Mbappé can achieve better than Messi records, but he needs to do things with better way and having change of attitude as well because recently we have too many complaints against him about things which can stop him from coming a legendary player.
As we all know he is very young and have enough things which Messi done near the end of his career mean his start is amazing and still nearly we have one decade with this wonder kid, so surely things are possible and also can achieve the target of GOAT which is dream of every player and now Messi also achieve after having this world cup.

Mbappé needs to fly to other leagues and having better playing time and improve his skills, all are surely going to bring many trophies and achievements for him in his bright future.

If Mbappe wants to be compared to Messi or Ronaldo, he has to leave PSG. The league is too weak and league titles there are meaningless.

He wants to go to Madrid, but I feel that the Messi/Ronaldo kind of rivalry will happen between him and Haaland. I hope we see them in the same league soon (preferably Premiership).

The thing with Ronaldo and Messi is also that they lasted 15+ years on an elite, record-breaking levels.
Mbappe and Haaland have just started, they have to play at the same level they are playing now throughout their whole careers to be able to compare to either one of them.

Mbappe playing in ligue 1 being seeing as an advantage to his career. We should also see Messi playing along side Iniesta, Xavi and Neymar as an advantage to his career when he was in Barcelona because everyone I mentioned above and more were all playing for Messi.
PSG are always the Champions of French league but they also perform fine in European competitions also.
I think in Mbappe's case it's about competing with Messi... It was clearly visible in the World Cup final... Yes, Messi is a great player, but his career is coming to an end and Mbappe has everything ahead of him... I think he will be as successful as Messi in the future... Iniesta, Xavi and Neymar played with Messi at Barcelona, but only Messi became a superstar... Now it's Mbappe's turn to become such a player...

Do they? They have been eliminated by Real Madrid is round of 16 I guess in the last season & that's too with 2-0 leading till the 61th minute (I can't remember exact timing LOL). Real Madrid knocked them out within 20 minutes LOL.
Eliminated by Man City in Semi final in 2020/21.
Played final in 2019/20 I guess but have lost.
I guess these aren't so good performance with having top 3 best players of the world.

Mbappe had a great start to his career at PSG. He has achieved most of his career while playing for PSG. On the other hand, Lionel Messi has been able to achieve the highest achievements of his life playing in Barcelona. But I have not noticed any major achievements of Neymar so far. Messi-Neymar, Mbappe will now play together in Ligue 1. Hope they can perform well.
