The next opponent for frankfurt was napoli and i doubt if frankfurt can do so much against napoli caused by napoli was still on fire. Frankfurt can only hope that with the leave from some key players by napoli will make napoli do so many blunders in the match. We are still far away from the next match of UCL. frankfurt has enough time to did some improvements caused by the local league will be starting after world cup and that can be used by frankfurt to make sure if it will have a good performance during the match against napoli in february.

Seems you're forgetting that Manchester city just acquired a goal scoring mechine named Haaland not too long ago and the guy is breaking records after records and also PSG has the likes of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe all on top form. Both clubs weren't as complete as they are now during previous seasons of the champions league. How can Real Madrid be favorite when the bookmarkers aren't even favoring Real Madrid winning over Liverpool in the round of 16 fixture.

Real Madrid is suffering with few injuries and late poor performance but still they are defending champions and have enough chance to be in good position specially their match against Liverpool is going to be vital for this year's title race because winner from this match is surely going to be tough for other teams in next round matches.

The two teams you mentioned have never won the Champions League during their careers, even though both are very strong and big teams in their own local leagues, but it is a shame that for the Champions League they have not been able to reach the championship.
