I don't really agree that Real Madrid was that dominant in the Champions League final against Liverpool last year. If i remember correctly then Liverpool had the first big chance to score a goal with Mane. Once Real madrid was in front though they managed to keep Liverpool away from the goal very well i have to admit.
Yes, the performance of Real Madrid currently seems like decreasing moreover after Benzema got the injury. Their attacking lines are quite decreasing. However, their opponent in the first 16' is Liverpool, and this team also has a certain willingness to defeat Real Madrid, to avenge last season's defeat so Liverpool of course is eager to beat Real Madrid. sometimes, they play really well against big clubs. This is curious.

On the other hand, the match between PSG and Bayers will be also very interesting, moreover, the two always have their best performance so far, with a high willingness to become the winner of this UCL. It's really unpredictable. If seeing from the composition of the lineups, PSG always has a better squad. But if seen from how the tactic and the team performance, Bayern is exactly awesome so far.

Last year, Real Madrid won the final against Liverpool without any problems. They have been on the brink of being knocked out 3-4 times, but only against Liverpool have they not had any problems. I don't know how the proportions are now, Liverpool still have a strong team but can't find the right rhythm and the captain van Dijk has also been dropping stitches lately.

Regarding the current shape of Liverpool: I think that Jürgen Klopp is an excellent trainer that really manages to bring out 100% of his players and that makes every player better. This also means though that as soon as those players are not able to bring their very best performance the team is just not good enough to compete against the very best teams in the world.

Most people will be eagerly awaiting the match between PSG and Bayern Munich. PSG pay a high price by finishing 2nd in the group, Benfica has drawn a lot more favorably. And let's be honest, you can go out against Bayern Munich, maybe the best team but individually no one comes close to PSG. You also don't know what a World Cup does to a player, they can also get injured at the World Cup. We now have a few months break before the CL resumes. Liverpool - Real Madrid is also a top game, but Liverpool are not in good form at the moment and unstable. Real Madrid seems to be the favorite here. I think that's PSG - Bayern Munich 50-50.
I also won't risk naming a clear favorite in the Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain pair yet. A clear plus for Bayern will be that the second decisive match will be held in Munich. However, it is not yet known how the first match in Paris will take place and whether Bayern will be able to provide an acceptable result for themselves in this match. Also, a lot depends on what form the magnificent trio from Paris in the person of Mbappe, Messi and Neymar will feel after the last World Cup in Qatar. Still, Bayern really looks better as a team, and the game and the results of Paris Saint-Germain can be influenced by the absence or poor performance of these particular players.

Real Madrid still has plenty of time and preparation for facing Liverpool is of course ideal for Real Madrid players to optimize stamina. Despite losing in the last few games, the time against Liverpool will still be put to good use. I believe Real Madrid will continue to win because the history of the two meetings is dominated by the Madrid squad.
I understand your belief about Real Madrid and its ability in the Champions League, but please never ignore and underestimate Liverpool who actually deserve the title of a big team with the same quality in the same competition. I doubt Real Madrid will make it this season in the last 16 even though I am their fan, Liverpool have learned a lot even though last season they also had to lose to Real Madrid.

I'm sure this match will be super difficult and won't be easy to predict which is the same as PSG vs Bayern Munich. Both teams have the ability and opportunity to win in both legs, but there is still a long way to go to get things ready.

The group stages of the UEFA champions league is just concluded and though Bayern Munich were undefeated in the group stages and both Manchester City and PSG are losing points in this stage, it doesn't determine the outcome of the competition or decide who wins it in the end. All teams have equal chances of winning, they are all top level clubs and are title champions in their own right. Only the best of the best will come on top this season.

~I'm picking Liverpool over Real Madrid not just because they're an English side but because Real Madrid lacks the spirit they had last season.

If Real Madrid doesn't have the same spirit as last season, then how come Real Madrid can win Group F, while Liverpool are only runners-up in Group A?

I think if only the spirit factor alone will not be able to guarantee the team will be able to achieve the victory as expected, even though their performance in the local league and in the Champions League is different.
But still, Real Madrid still have better quality than Liverpool but even so I also admit that the Premier League teams are strong teams.

But at this moment Liverpool's chances are very low because they are still in the process of improving, and even though there will be changes later because the match will be played next year.
But I personally will still doubt Liverpool this season, because if Real Madrid has got a good position in the La Liga standings, then of course Real Madrid will be able to play with a high focus in the Champions League.
So yes, Real Madrid have never lost their chance to go further in the Champions League.

All this talk about "luck", "spirit" and other subjective nonsense is just an excuse or a copium for fanboys.
If you look objectively, then Real has losses since last season - Casemiro left (but he is more or less replaced by Tchuameni) plus Real's dependence on Benzema has been preserved, whom, moreover, is not yet in shape. But still, Real is quite stable. At the same time, Liverpool suffered a complete disaster in the Premier League - they have already lost the race for the title and now their main task is to get into the top 4.
There is still a lot of time before the games, but the task of Real Madrid is to remain in the state in which they are and there may be something to try to improve, but for Liverpool the situation is different - they must change radically. It is obvious that the probability of successfully solving the first task is higher than the second.

Bayern happen to be the only club that finished their group stage without a draw nor lose. Mancity, Benfica and PSG had two draws each. This doesn't stop the fact that they all have equal chances but the possibility of Bayern playing in the finals is higher compared to other club. The have the highest game composure and team understanding in the champions League
Last season they were like that too but in the end they failed because they were beaten by Villarreal.
Honestly, I don't feel that never losing in the group stage doesn't make them really worth more because for the knockout stage anything can happen and they have to learn from the past because this is something important.
Sometimes there are some unexpected clubs that will be troublesome and it is not impossible that this season will be the same as last season as long as they underestimate the enemy and consider never losing in the group stage to be an advantage.

Currently Liverpool is a little worried because their performance looks still not safe in the Premier League standings. Facing Real Madrid in the Champions League, of course, requires players with optimal stamina. Despite losing in La Liga, Real Madrid still didn't make him look weak. I think in the game against Real Madrid, Klopp had a lot of time to improve the performance of his players.

Well firstly you should know that, the champions league isn't like your traditional local league. In the premier league, the teams already playing there knows Liverpool weakness and can capitalized on it to win or draw games with them but that's not the case in the champions league. We can see how poorly Chelsea has performed in the premier league this season but they ended up topping their group in the champions league because these are two different atmosphere with a lot at stake. Benzene that was the backbone of Real Madrid victory last season doesn't even have any goal in the champions league his season.

Beside the game isn't getting played until like next year which is alot of time for teams to pick form while others drop form. Real Madrid and Liverpool has meant numerous times with Real Madrid having the edge over Liverpool but I think things will be different this time around. I'm picking Liverpool over Real Madrid not just because they're an English side but because Real Madrid lacks the spirit they had last season.

Liverpool are having an inconsistent season, while Real Madrid are still pretty good so far, although in their last match they surprisingly lost to Rayo Vallecano 3-2. Karim Benzema is predicted to play against Liverpool, this is obviously very profitable for Real Madrid, because this player has a lot of experience in the Champions League, although the match will be fierce, I think Real Madrid's chances of winning are much bigger.

Indeed Liverpool's performance this season is not like them. I don't know what happened to them this season. Because, last season they performed very impressively despite failing to win the EPL, but they managed to make the EPL interesting to follow until the end of the season. Liverpool's performance is quite good in the UCL with 4 wins in the last 4 matches, but this is not a good thing, because Madrid will perform optimally with the solid squad they have at the moment.

Liverpool can barely win against Real Madrid, this is a bad meeting record for them because they have been beaten by Real Madrid many times. Surely Jurgen Klopp has a very difficult task to improve their meeting record. Moreover, this is the Champions League, which we know Real Madrid is difficult to beat when in this competition. It is Jurgen Kolpp's responsibility to improve because they have a very long time now.

FC Bayern's 19-year-old Jamal Musiala tops the table of the best young players under 20 with the most goal contributions in Europe top five leagues.

20 goals/assists in 21 games is impressive. No wonder why Transfermarkt.com has raised Musiala's market value to €100m. Bayern has a future Messi here.

Having bad result in la liga didn't mean real will be doing the same mistake in the UCL. Liverpool has even worst performance compared with real madrid in the domestic league. Im sure liverpool can't win easily against real madrid. I hope karim will be on the best performance during the match against liverpool. The match will begin next year and that gives a very long time for him to recover from his injured. I hope that real madrid can pass liverpool to the last 8.
The bad result that happened with real madrid in la liga can be considered as a mistake and this can be fixed anytime during the upcoming match

Well i don't quite agree with you, whilst Bayern Munich are an absolute powerhouse in the CL, they do not have a higher chance of playing in the final than the other big teams in the tournament, at least not this season because of their RO16 opponent, Bayern come up against PSG, a game that is 50/50 for both teams, thus it is very possible that Bayern could crash out of the CL at the RO16 stage.

Having said that, i think in the Bayern v PSG game the pressure is on PSG, because when they were eliminated last season the players had to endure a lot of abuse from their own fans, even Neymar was booed by his own fans, it showed the players that the fans want that elusive CL trophy, and only that can make them happy, the players will be afraid not to crash out yet again, and what the implications of an exit could be, well like i said the game is 50/50, and it is well about anyone's game.

On the one hand, you are right if Real Madrid is more advantaged because Liverpool this season has been less stable or less convincing in the premier league so that they still hold on to 8th position in the standings. On the other hand, your analysis is not quite right, especially regarding experience. Real Madrid and Liverpool's current squad depth is balanced from experience. Benzema may be a player who has more experience at Real Madrid, but Liverpool also have Mohamed Salah, Jodan Henderson who have experience not much different from Benzema in the Champions League.

I think in terms of who has the greater chance, it's too soon to decide right now. We'll just have to wait for the World Cup to end. Why? because many Real Madrid and Liverpool players will carry out duties in the national team squad. Who knows, important players in their respective clubs get injured, it will certainly affect the big chances of qualifying for the Champions League which will take place on 22 Feb 2023 after the World Cup party.

The maximum results obtained by Bayern Munich in the group stage coupled with consistent performance does not guarantee Bayern Munich can appear in the final. Personally I do not doubt the quality of Bayern Munich, after 16 teams eliminated the competition will be even tighter in the next round.

Manchester City, PSG, Real Madrid, can give Munich competition. Napoli who have appeared surprising this season also cannot be underestimated, the depth of the Napoli squad can add to the competition towards the final. Liverpool will also try to take the opportunity, although their performances have been less consistent in the domestic league but Jurgen Klopp men have performed well in the UCL.
These teams will fight each other to be the best on the European stage, Munich is still the seed but there is no guarantee of getting into the final round.

With or without the quality players that Liverpool has Real Madrid will still end up winning the game in the knock out meetings against themselves. The lost against Rayo Vallecano is confusing, I am also surprised by the power's of Vallecano.
Real Madrid do not joke with the Champions League but this time this year the champions league will go to another unlike last season where benzema showed up in big game's for Real Madrid. That away Real Madrid will qualify ahead of Liverpool
