It is actually very difficult to predict which of these teams will make it through, but with the way Liverpool are performing i think it is going to be pretty much difficult for them to eliminate the defending champions, things might be entirely different after the WC and by the time we start the RO16 fixtures, but if it does remain the same i think Liverpool would be an easy opponent for Real Madrid, as for PSG v Bayern, that one is unpredictable for now imo.

If it was last season I would agree with you that Liverpool has more chances than Real Madrid but for the present season Liverpool is struggling to see the headlight of football. If we beat RM then we have the entire tournament in our pockets this year. They are pretty much the strongest club in the CL at the moment. City, Chelsea, Bayern, these can all be dribbled with a +1 goal difference.

Last year, Real Madrid won the final against Liverpool without any problems. They have been on the brink of being knocked out 3-4 times, but only against Liverpool have they not had any problems. I don't know how the proportions are now, Liverpool still have a strong team but can't find the right rhythm and the captain van Dijk has also been dropping stitches lately.

An interesting match, of course, because it will bring together the two teams that we know in the last few seasons they have often met in the Champions League. And in some of their meetings, Real Madrid was able to dominate by getting rid of Liverpool several times. Of course Liverpool do not want the same thing to happen again this season. I agree with you, Liverpool have a good chance this season even if everyone knows that Real Madrid is the strongest and most dominant team in the Champions League.
