I tried to rule out Liverpool even though the Champions League potential was open to Klopp men. On the other hand, the competition for the Champions League trophy seems to give a stronger signal to PSG, Man City, and Real Madrid. These three clubs are probably the only PSG who have enough obstacles to face Bayern Munich.

Returning to Liverpool against Real Madrid also seems difficult but it's good to have the time remaining during the world cup break for a player who doesn't make it into the national team's main squad like Firmino can improve his performance even better.

Mostly, I'd want to be a bit biased by saying Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool would be knocked out of the Knock Out stage when they face Real Madrid, not because they're the current Champions League winners but because, they Liverpool has been inna low form and Real Madrid a better side to Liverpool.

These two teams will still make changes for the better in the round of 16 because considering the gap that makes the second match will still take a long time to take place, it is clear that there will be changes from the two teams before they meet and compete in the Champions League. But despite all that, I personally am still very confident in Real Madrid which will be even better next year, especially for the Champions League because the Real Madrid coach definitely knows that they have to make an earlier evaluation before meeting Liverpool.

I also didn't expect that Bayern Munich would face such a big obstacle in the Champions League this season because in the group phase Bayern were met with big teams and in the round of 16 they were reunited with big teams. this is a fake final maybe whoever wins in that match will be able to go further in the champions league competition this season.

But, if from the history of Ancelotti's meeting with Liverpool in various competitions since becoming AC Milan coach, Ancelotti actually has the ability to bring his players to win matches. I just browse about this clubs head to head and in the last 5 meetings between this clubs, Bayern Munich has won four times with PSG recent win just came last year when they won 3-2 (1st leg) at Bayern's home. Both clubs are on good form and has won their last 5 matches in their domestic leagues so we should be expecting a good fight when they play next year. Just hope by then both clubs are still at the level of form they're currently on.

Looking at the star players from both team, it seems they'll all be active for their national side at the world cup. PSG is more at risk though as their front three could play more games as their respective nations are more favorite to win the tournament. I'm speaking about Neymar's Brazil, Messi's Argentina and Mbappe's France.

For this season, it seems that it will be difficult for Real Madrid if the three veteran players have to miss out with various scenarios of not being able to play, whether it's injury, card accumulation, or whatever makes the three players unable to appear. I'm not sure, Madrid will not be able to qualify for the next phase, without the presence of these three players. however, this is just a scenario.

So far, with Benzema injured. El Real seemed to have lost the sharpness they had, in the end Dor Carlo experimented with making Rodrygo a center forward. the result is quite satisfactory even though it is not as sharp as Benzema. Modric's absence, during the Asasuna match, made El Real lose full points. the absence of Benzema and Kroos in the match vs Rayo, made them have to swallow their first defeat in La Liga. that way, these three players will still be needed by Real Madrid before the young players projected by Don Carlo reach their maximum level.


we know, that Madrid has a winning mentality and is again able to get out of pessimism that was initially not too superior. they will always be a team that their opponents fear later, including Liverpool who will meet in the round of 16 later. however, as we agreed. this season seems to be tough for Madrid to get the champions league title, PSG, City and even Bayern look much better in terms of the pattern of the game. yes, so have to just wait it out and see what scenario will happen.

This is the most important match of the knockout round. Here two teams are playing for the title both Bayern Munich and PSG. And both have strong squads. So it cannot be predicted which team will win this match and qualify for the next round. Both groups have the same mindset. But if Messi and Neymar and Ramos are able to play well then I want to put PSG team ahead.

Real Madrid can still probably have the cup this time around because I haven't yet seen any backslide in their performance instead they still maintain their good performance.  As for Liverpool am not very sure if they can achieve better this season,  their performance was much more better than what they showcase this season. To be honest Liverpool the performance of Liverpool this season has not been really impressive compare to how they were in the last season.

honestly for me Real Madrid is the favorite, but they could also lose easily, being the favorite means nothing

we'll see how determined PSG can beat Munich. they always had the desire to win the Champions League. even with an amazing squad they always fail in the end. Munich is one of the strong candidates for the trophy hunt this season. but I will probably support Man City more for this season. they have played more consistently this season. although we all know the teams that qualify for the top 16 are strong teams. of course, any favorite team could have slipped with the dark horse team this season.

It is impossible to predict which team will win the Bayern vs PSG match. There is no doubt that Bayern Munich is a renowned club. But PSG is very strong. And PSG's gameplay is much stronger this season compared to previous seasons. The attacking trio of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe are in great form. At the same time, Ramos of the defense has also adapted himself to the team very well. And so it is much more difficult for Munich to win against PSG.

Bayern is one legend of champions league besides Real Madrid because of that they are being favored. They also have more experienced fight with top club for long time and and able to overcome it all, while PSG they are is look new comer with new composition even the squad have more than what they want, but still they are not much compete in high class. And, for sure when Bayern can beat them in 16 round without have problem, they will one of champion candidate other than Madrid and Man City.

Any matches in champion league already scheduled. that being said that you can't blame it to be too early or too late. It has been considering so many things. The champion league doesn't even randomly scheduling the match. There would be so many even at the end of this year especially world cup in qater and so what you were saying above was not true at all. All of players from the countries who qualified for qater will be playing for the world cup. There's no reason to feel disappointed with it as it will actually come as soon as all of events at the end of this year will be ended. Bayern seems to be more dominated compared with PSG in the champion league. How easy bayern to be fully qualified rather than PSG. Bayern has more chance to defeat PSG easily and bayern will go to the last 8 without any problem.

I think there's some conspiracy someone to always give Manchester city the easy path to the finals just so Pep and Manchester city oil money can win the tournament but they'll keep falling short. Haven't anyone wonder why Manchester city always get easier team. This also has some disadvantage on them as they're used to not struggling for their wins because of the low clubs they meet that when they finally meet stronger teams at later stages of the tournament, they lack the experience to progress.

The draw paired teams like PSG vs Bayern, Liverpool vs Real Madrid etc when players plays this tough games they get extra inturn with the games and want to progress forward and probably win the tournament but that can't be said about Manchester city, they always get handled the finals yet they can't reach it and when they do, they get defeated by a more experience teams that have played other tougher teams.
