You're right, instead of going straight to the game I'm thinking more about the preparation of both teams for the match. At least after the World Cup we will know their situation will probably be a little different because this can certainly change the situation of the team, still the most important thing for me is they will do a lot of things in the transfer market later to prepare for the Champions League which will start a few months after that.
For me in the round of 16 there will be a lot of surprises that I think will pass but the fact is different this is just my guess, maybe Napoli are now in favor after they can win and be consistent in this competition but I want to see how they move this season.

This game was only possible because PSG failed in the group stage. If PSG took first place, then we would see a pair of Bayern - Benfica and everyone would react to this as "Benfica was good, but now it's over." PSG would have played Brugge and everyone would have treated this match the same way. But PSG failed and now we see in the 1/8 what we should have seen in the later stages of the tournament.

PSG's performance in the group stage was not bad. But Benfica's performance was better. And so PSG was second in the table. However, these are now past. PSG and Bayern Munich must now focus on their next match. And the team that wins the PSG vs Bayern Munich match, I think the team will go to the final.
