Yes, now trust in Nunez has turned into doubt. This is in line with the good performance of Haaland at Manchester City. I'm not trying to compare, but when these two players came to the Premier League it was a debate who was the best between them. Now Nunez is behind Haaland in terms of performance. Liverpool fans miss Sadio Mane.

Darwin Nunez still needs time to adapt to Liverpool's game. Even Liverpool don't play well as a team these days so it would be unfair to blame things on Nunez. He was a wonderful striker while he was playing for Benfica. He was like a goal machine I mean. However the Premier League is a completely different environment. Teams here play with very different strategies and the tempo is always high here. Liverpool are one of the teams that love to play fast. After some time Nunez would start to adapt hopefully otherwise of course his end might be like Werner for Chelsea.

Haaland is a way more skilled player than Nunez. He was already playing for Dortmund that liked to play really fast so he didn't have any problem on adapting also. He is most probably going to have a much higher level of performance than Nunez during the whole season. But Liverpool wouldn't care about this comparison. They'd only like to see Nunez meeting the expectations after spending a huge amount of money for him. For now, Firmino seems to be better than him in the team.

Darwin nunez was brought on in the second half in the 62nd minute, during the match against Napoli, Liverpool's performance from the first half was very bad, so I don't think we can demand nunez to play perfectly in that match.
Unlike Haaland, Man City's performance in the domestic league is quite good and does not have many problems with the players.  Haaland had a great start in the UCL tournament, not so good for nunez, in the second game in the premier league he got a red card. it's only natural that he's not at his best.
Liverpool's appearance in the UCL tournament was purely a failure of the main starter players, Moh Salah and colleagues played very badly.

I see that the hot news is that many fans regret the Nunez transfer.  they said that the team spent meaningless money, nunez in that match didn't have a big impact on liverpool's attack line, much different from mane before
It is impossible for a baby when it is born to immediately run after its father or mother. Darwin Nunez came to Liverpool not from an English club. An adaptation process is necessary for a new player. Darwin Nunez also cannot play alone without the support of other players. Let alone Nunez, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are also not able to do a good job if the service is not provided by teammates.

Darwin Nunez was brought in as a replacement for Sadio Mane. So the expectations from him will naturally be higher than mine. But he is still young. Darwin Nunez is only 23 years old. Three are talented enough but not experienced. Experience is definitely required in a competitive platform like the Premier League. It also takes time to adapt to the team. He has just played four matches in Liverpool's jersey. Scored a goal and an assist. Darwin Nunez needs more time to adjust to the team. Hopefully, he can become a worthy replacement for Liverpool's Sadio Mane in the future.

For Liverpudlian and The Kop, don't get caught up with information that can disrupt concentration in supporting Liverpool.
We have to see how Jurgen Klopp shaped a great team with an extraordinary strategy so that Liverpool managed to become a club full of achievements.
Liverpool's 4-0 defeat was really painful but I think it's still normal because the team is trying to build chemistry between players
The correct score was 4-1 (Napoli 4 - 1 Liverpool) not 4-0.

it was clear that Haaland's performance at Manchester City was very good with the many goals he scored, while Darwin Nunez was getting worse with Liverpool accompanied by the same performance from his team even though Liverpool's bad performance is now not only caused by Nunez but fans' expectations are too high and compared to Haaland makes it even more difficult. down, the mentality of this player may be very difficult to get up especially he is a young player.
As for Liverpool's poor form, I think it's normal in a team that isn't always stable, especially since it's just the start of the season, with the quality of the team they have I think sooner or later they will be able to bounce back.

I'm sorry, but I have some difficulty finding it normal to lose 4-0 against Napoli.  It is true that the Italian team is strong, and has all the conditions to beat Liverpool. But win 4-0? I think it's a very heavy defeat for Klopp's team.

We are talking about the team that was in the final of the Champions League last year and in turn continues to have the main players. It's true that there are new players, but even so, I don't think it justifies such a heavy defeat.

I think that the issue here is the knowledge that the opposing teams already have of the type of game that Liverpool have, and they manage to assemble the teams in order to control that. I believe that Klopp has the quality to overcome this, but it may take some time to create a new game plan. But the season is going to be a long one, and losing points like that right at the beginning can make it very complicated. It's better quickly.

Liverpool fans and management know how much Klopp has done for Liverpool. He won them their first premier league title after 20+ years and won them the champions league aswell. So it would be really bad to sack him for starting the season bad.
Liverpool club management still considers Liverpool's situation a normal thing and sacking the coach when the team is performing poorly like the one Liverpool is experiencing is only a discussion that develops outside. Jurgen Klopp is a great coach who has managed to bring success to Liverpool.

Firing Klopp at this time is not a wise option for Liverpool because Klopp can still fix all the adversity at the beginning of this season for the better by changing their strategy and way of playing in a better direction. Because I was also a little surprised when Liverpool were beaten by Napoli with an unusual score for Liverpool. Even I had predicted that English clubs would always be stronger than Italian clubs, but in reality this is not the case.
Fortunately, in this case, the higher-ups from Liverpool are still quite patient with their condition because they are aware that when they release Klopp, it will certainly backfire for them as well.
If Todd were there, it would most likely be a little different because actually if we look at their almost the same spending on player transfers considering Liverpool's spending is also quite large Grin
But indeed in this case Klopp still has to make different movements considering that in this case they have to move quickly to make their performance improve.

The most bizarre ending of this week and perhaps of recent years was the match between Atletico Madrid and Porto. No goal for 90 minutes and then stoppage time (9 minutes) we saw 3 goals. You don't see that often. For a long time it seemed to be a boring goalless draw. Griezmann was important in the end with his substitution.
I can't even believe such thing happened before. Both teams are playing so fast when it was entered into the extra time. With only 9 minutes and a few goals have been made by both. It seems like griezman was become the man of the match that was helping the club to get full points in the champion league. That's a very bad ending for porto which was not able to get 1 point from atletico madrid. it seems like that griezmann will be included into the diego siemone's next starting eleven.
Im glad that atletico can get full point against porto. What a good game from both.

It's true that seeing Liverpool's inconsistent performance in the Premier League doesn't seem surprising if Liverpool perform poorly in
the Champions League. But Liverpool should not lose by a big score, this is very embarrassing for Liverpool, who were runners-up in
the Champions League the previous season.
You are right. Even if Liverpool got defeated, at least it is not with 3 goals difference. It is a quite shame, Liverpool performance seems like a small team. Everyone must be disappointed with Liverpool since they are always a candidate for UCL winner in the last few seasons.

If it was chelsea ... they might sack klopp right in the morning lol.
Correct. Klopp is lucky that he isn't a Chelsea coach.  Grin

So far at the early season ... liverpool didn't perform really well despite all the key players are available , the fans now looking something to blame and mane departure become one of many strong reasons.
I think it is not only about the Mane factor. But the whole Liverpool players are decreasing in motivation to play consistently and improve their performance. In some matches, I assume Liverpool players are getting lazy, they didn't play aggressively anymore. Klopp should evaluate the players' behavior/mentality.

No more Champions League this week, but we've seen some fun and entertaining matches this week. The most striking is of course the result of Napoli against Liverpool which ended up being a 4-1 win. Chelsea also lost to Dynamo Zagreb. The Spurs struggled for a long time but managed to win in the end.

Although there were many surprises in the first match of the group stage, it was still only two matches that caught my attention. Where the defeats of
Chelsea and Liverpool were unexpected, both teams could be said to have a fairly perfect squad. But both Chelsea and Liverpool had to suffer their first
defeats in the Champions League. Although I am quite optimistic that both teams can qualify from the group stage, but the bad results of Chelsea and
Liverpool cannot be accepted by their fans. Especially Chelsea's management, who has spent a lot of money, is very angry with Chelsea's performance
in the Champions League. Therefore Chelsea management decided to sack Tuchel, this is news that really shocked everyone. But it is very natural for
Chelsea management to do this because Chelsea are not only bad in the Champions League, but they also performed poorly in the Premier League.
I hope either Liverpool or Chelsea can win in the next game in the Champions League.

I think that there are many. But Eintracht Frankfurt has no experience in the Champions League and they have to get to know that. They have few players who have CL experience, but that was not enough against Sporting. They are better at that level and Frankfurt has a lot to learn. They still have 5 games, so everything is ok and everything is possible.
Eintracht Frankfurt won a ticket to qualify for the Champions League after winning in the Europa league, but in the Bundesliga they were only able to finish in 11th position last season. Exactly Eintracht Frankfurt not have experience in UEFA Champion League and I don't think Frankfurt have chance can pass group stage. First home match in UEFA Champion League defeated by Sporting Lisbon 0-3 most disappointed result because there have another bigger team Tottenham Hotspur will make Eintracht Frankfurt faced difficulty how to pass in group stage. But little advantage with next match against Marseille because Marseille and still have opportunity if success win, but loss again from Marseille will close chance can pass from group stage.
Eintracht Frankfurt didn't reach this strange by luck, they are a very good team In the budesliga and also last season in the Europa League they beat a resurrect Barcelona that was on top form in the semi final and also beat rangers who are also a good team at the final, sporting won them at Germany doesn't mean is the end of the road for them, but I think this group will be top by Tottenham Hotspur because they have more quality than the other teams in the group and has a very experienced coach in Antonio Conte.

I really don't know what's going on with Liverpool this season. The attitude of the Reds players in defense in yesterday's match against Napoli is a football crime. Especially in the goal of 2-0, when 4 players from Liverpool watched Zieliński and Anguissa pass the ball to each other. They conceded 4 goals in total, and there could have been many more. Really Jurgen Klopp has to shake the team a lot while the season is just starting.
the Liverpool squad has not changed much from last season. Klopp shouldn't have had much trouble at the start of the season.
there seems to be something wrong with this team, they are strong but the game is bad. they didn't play as well as last season, of course, Liverpool is missing something big. it makes the team's performance greatly decrease. Klopp has a lot of homework that will make it hard to sleep.
Indeed, not much has changed, but there are important players who have moved to other clubs. Liverpool's arrogance to release Mane and Minamino who became heroes last season, now Liverpool is immediately destroyed. too stingy to increase Mane's salary but waste money to buy players who are not classy. It is nothing surprising to me to see Napoli thrash Liverpool that way. Currently they have not been playing well. They have only won 2 games out of 6 and When you look at the way they play you will notice that something is missing. The players are not contributing defensively. And it won’t be surprising that Liverpool's performances could go from bad to worse if they do not find a solution to their issues in that area of the pitch and improve their defensive performances.

There is no time to waste for Klopp. A number of new players need to be added to his squad to strengthen it. As a result, Klopp and Liverpool have realized the importance of Mane to the team over Salah. Now that Mane has moved on and Salah's form playing alongside Mane has disappeared, the entire team has fallen apart. There is only one player trying to carry Liverpool forward, it's Luiz Diaz. According to the current situation, defenders and midfielders are needed in the upcoming transfer window.

Really was a bad decision to ditch Sadio Mane just like that, shouldn't have been him, so who miss Sadio Mane right now ? Salah now doing more of goal contribution than scoring.
Also, they must have missed Thiago Alcantara, Both Henderson and Minler are old players, they can't give what Thiago is giving. I doubt if the new player Authur Melo will adapt fast to Liverpool.
They should lock horn's with Wolverampton during the weekend fixtures, I can't wait to watch Diego Costa tear that defense apart.

The top teams in each group managed to win except for Leipzig and Chelsea even though I still felt at first that they could overcome their opponents.
But indeed in domestic matches they are not doing well so this is a domino effect for their performance in the Champions League.
Leipzig seems to be in their current condition and if they can't improve then they will most likely return to the Europa League.
As a result, two coaches from both teams were fired by their respective teams after both teams lost in the Champions League yesterday.
Domenico Tedesco and Tuchel must get a hard slap for the poor performance of the team they are currently coaching. They can't be kept because maybe it will be worse, but I think these two coaches deserve respect after both of them were able to bring their respective teams to the Champions League this season.
Their officials are starting to falter with Tuchel and Tedesco's leadership for Chelsea and Leipzig but in this case Leipzig have appointed their new coach and are already preparing for the next game in the Bundesliga but I haven't seen any signs of this at Chelsea even though they need to be extra quick in their game. this is especially so they are one of the teams that can be said to be a big team in the EPL and of course they are also expected to qualify easily in the UCL Group Phase.

Manchester City are shown as the biggest candidate to become the champions in this tournament now. Bookmakers are favouring them at the moment. It is easy to understand of course as they are too impressive after signing Haaland. They have a much stronger squad compared to the previous season especially thanks to him. Guardiola's system is already amazing as always. You might say that they couldn't become the champions last but it was a really unlucky journey for them. Real Madrid were nearly out of the Champions League but they made an epic comeback.
No wonder they are strong candidates now because there have been some improvements, especially in their attack, but actually things like this are quite natural for them because if we flashback to the previous few seasons also Manchester City have always been strong candidates in the Champions League and that's just " candidate" never came true because their best achievement only reached the final.
Manchester City is undoubtedly a good team. They always play a very fast game, all the players in the team are very smart. Pep Guardiola is the coach to develop the talents of the players. We have been seeing this continuity of the team for a long time. They have the ability to beat any team. Their team is moving towards achieving something better.

Manchester City has been among the absolute best in the world for years. Every year also a favorite with the bookmakers. Now they also have Haaland on board. We've seen how good he is. PSG now also seems to be completely revived and with the new coach at the helm they are showing convincing football. Beautiful goals and beautiful combinations against Juventus this week. I think it's between PSG and Manchester City. But it will depend a lot on how it will be. If we get Bayern - Man City as the draw in the quarterfinals, then it could also be that Man City will be eliminated by Bayern.
