If I remember correctly, aren`t Sevilla in financial trouble? I remember, if I`m not mistaken, that he won the cup but soon after he made a lot of sales to cover his debts, clearly I don`t remember very well but if it`s true, will they make it through the group stage?

We`ll see
Sevilla are in financial trouble. The club has sold almost all of its important players to pay the debt. Winning europea league meant nothing as the prize from winning this trophy was small. It's not enough to be used paid off the debt. It's hard to believe if sevilla will make it to the group stage with the current squad. Sevilla is still having 0 points after a few games passed. I would like to see sevilla will go back to the europea league again.
It's hard to imagine sevilla will be qualified for the play off with the current squad. Sevilla is in trouble now.
maybe financial problems are part of the cause of Sevilla getting a bad performance in La Liga matches and for the UCL group stage I think Sevilla will be worse and probably not qualify but if Sevilla appears in the european league there is a slight chance because of Sevilla experience in the european league already quite a lot even without a mainstay player.

Its sad to see Sevilla current condition when the title holding team remains in the European league but this summer has had a surprisingly poor performance and in the transfer market yesterday Sevilla was not very active because as we discussed at the beginning, finances were the cause of all this poor performance in Seville.

Sevilla team is relatively ahead of other teams in terms of performance. I would think that Sevilla do not have the type of players that PSG have, yet this team is still able to outshine PSG.

The question is since when sevilla was in the same group as PSG? Did you watch the UCL draw or what? You were saying a nonsense thing. You had no idea about the current placement of Sevilla.. What you have said above was totally non sense thing that will never happen. Im sure that you don't even know which teams have been playing in the same group as sevilla. PSG was not in the same group as sevilla.
How can you say that if PSG will outshine PSG? What a non sense thing. You can at least watch the result from the draw. It will give you at least a small knowledge about that.
It's uncertain whether you're aware of the PSG group placement.

The reality that happened after the division of the group reversed from what they thought, Newcastle joined the group of hell which was inhabited by other strong clubs. PSG, AC Milan and Dortmund are not just any teams, Newcastle will have great difficulty getting into the round of 16 due to the very competitive competition in Group F.
Their group is actually a toughest among all Champions League groups. Even it was expected that Newcastle United will be fallen into a tough one, what they got is most terrible scenario.

However, will other clubs in that group mind much about Newcastle United? They know Newcastle United don't have experience there and can be a weakest opponent in the group, even they end in top four of Premier League last season. Newcastle United must accept this fact and use this season to learn and get experience, then move on.

Quote
Newcastle poor performance at the start of the season made their chances even smaller, they were only able to win 1 win and 3 defeats in the 4 matches they had played in the Premier League. The negative results obtained by Newcastle in the EPL make me doubt that Newcastle will be able to go further in the UCL, especially since their coach doesn't have enough experience in the UCL.
Even if they get good start in Premier League, they will still have difficulty in Champions League. With very poor performance in Premier League, Newcastle United will get more pressure when Champions League kicks-off.

Playing a first season in Champions League after many years will be big challenge for their players and coach. They will not have enough experience to play against clubs from other leagues with different tactical styles and have troubles to allocate their resources in this season. It's worse for Newcastle United when they fell into a toughest group in this season.

Indeed, Newcastle is the dark horse in Group F, and of course there will be surprises for big teams like PSG and Milan. However, if you look at the three consecutive defeats experienced by Newcastle in the EPL, I doubt they will give a surprise in the Champions League, they are no longer like last season, who had a high fighting spirit and compact players. So I see that Newcastle's chances of qualifying for the group phase are very difficult because in the Champions League it is no longer about players or tactics but also mentality that will speak here. I see Newcastle coach Eddie Howe is still doubtful because he has no experience at all in the Champions League.
Movements in the transfer market that seemed mediocre indicated that it was as if Newcastle did not have a target after ensuring themselves qualification for the Champions League. Even though they have a lot of money to bring in classy players, the club management doesn't do that which gives the impression as if they already have a strong enough squad or are able to compete with other top clubs. What a f*cking easy group for Manchester City with all these teams who City can beat them very easily as they come from much lower quality leagues like Young Boys from Swiss Super League and C.Zvedza from Serbian Premier League, these surely won't put up any difficulty or fight against Manchester City. They also have Leipzig again which they beat and eliminated last year so also this team does not pose any threat for them. Also most other groups are easy for the big teams like for Real and Napoli which will most likely get past group stages very easy. Also for the other teams like Bayern,Manchester,Arsenal and Barcelona which should come out easily of the group stages.Only the group of Newcastle will be very competitive and the most interesting I think.

It's a common pattern for every season - those who seeded from the first and second pot 90% of the time have no problem to qualify. Therefore, the group stage is in fact garbage and the games here are quite difficult to predict - the approximate distribution of places is clear in advance and the top clubs, without straining, allow themselves to lose one or two games. I don't like this stage of the tournament.

Reunion with Harry Kane, he should definitely be on the list of players to get on the scores that night. 20th September would be a great night. What I'm sure of is that if Manchester United without Injuries face Bayern Munich, the midfied battle would be won by Manchester United, they are better than Bayern Munich. Eighteen more days to go!
Bayern Munich Midfield is also still strong, Joshua Kimmich, Mathys Tel, Leon Goretzka are strong midfielders, and they also have a very strong attack that should be feared. Bayern Munich know they need to win the champions league, they are tired of celebrating always winning the bundesliga, the Champions league is a target for them, so they will be at their best. Manchester United will need to bring their A game if they will win the game against them.

this is lucky for Arsenal and PSV I think.
Arsenal are lucky to have escaped the group of death, they need to develop momentum and confidence in the competition as they play, and the group they are in gives them a chance to do that.

In group B of this Champions League, we have Sevilla and Arsenal in the same group, Sevilla is the team that won the European League in last season and they are known for their good performance in that tournament while this time Sevilla is going to play in Chmapnios league where they have to play against stronger teams, in the other hand these two teams Arsenal and Sevilla played two times against each other in 2007-2008 and each team on for once.

If I remember correctly, aren`t Sevilla in financial trouble? I remember, if I`m not mistaken, that he won the cup but soon after he made a lot of sales to cover his debts, clearly I don`t remember very well but if it`s true, will they make it through the group stage?

We`ll see
The fact is that last season Sevilla was Europa League Champion, Arsenal were EPL runners up, PSV were also Eredivisie runners up and Lens were Ligue 1 runners up. Many say group B is occupied by balanced clubs, it's true when you look at the facts. With group F is the group of Hell or the most difficult, only Newcastle are less seeded.

But so far, if you look at the standings, it can be said that Sevilla is the club whose performance has decreased and is followed by Lens. Sevilla have not been able to secure a point in three matches in La Liga. Meanwhile, Lens pocketed one point in three games, this is lucky for Arsenal and PSV I think.

Even though Manchester United is getting enough of the ammunition they want, this doesn't necessarily mean their performance will be as good as you expect. At least we have to see it in domestic league matches if we want to measure the ability of the Manchester United squad now. Amrabat is a good midfielder and if he can adapt more quickly it will be even better for the team. But I have to differ with you this time and I will support Bayern Munich as group winners because they are much more organized since last season and it has been proven that the arrival of a former EPL top scorer in their squad makes Bayern Munich's attack line more dangerous.
The current conditions of Manchester United and Bayern Munich are not much different because both of them are playing less promisingly, even though Bayern Munich successfully won their opening two matches. But I agree that Bayern Munich's chances of winning the group are very big because the Bundesliga giant had not missed playing in the Champions League in the previous few seasons and Manchester United had only just returned after not qualifying for the Champions League last time. Bayern Munich also has a very dangerous striker at the moment and he is a former EPL player (Harry Kane) and his ability to score goals is extraordinary.

Manchester United have not yet got the striker that Erik Ten Hak wants and although they currently have Rasmus Hojlund but so far he has not made his debut because he is still injured. Defense is also still quite problematic for Erik Ten Hak so Bayern Munich's chances of go out as group champions are much greater.

At the heart of the defense, failure to get Benjamin Pavard to Manchester United pisses me you know, but we have to work with the players present. With Raphael Varane absent due to Injury, he would have been the perfect lined up player to replace him.
Bayern Munich are not as strong as they was two to three years ago, they look sharp but not oo sharp to make me dread them even before the game.

So far I see in every post, indeed many of them doubt the ability of Newcastle United because they think that Newcastle United is a dark horse team in Group F.
I think that is quite natural because Newcastle United has been absent from the Champions League for quite a long time, but this season they are back in the Champions League and immediately face a big challenge because they are in Group F.
Where Group F is filled by teams that are quite experienced in the Champions League.

Eddie Howe thinks that Newcastle United will be able to be the best in Group F, especially if they can give a surprise if they can beat the three big teams. This will be a quite crucial step and a tough job for Newcastle United in the group phase.

Manchester United are in need of a defensive midfielder, we know that they have Casemiro, but they can't always rely on Casemiro alone, because when he is absent or out of form, their weaknesses are very visible. Their other midfielders are more attack-minded and that's a problem when they need a defensive midfielder who can cut out the opposition from midfield.
It's a good signing and I think it suits their needs, yes even though we know that in some positions they don't look fully ready either.
Amrabat status is quite important and indeed Manchester United need to anticipate when Casemiro is absent, at least if you look at the statistics between Casemiro and Amrabat there is not much difference in their defense which is quite promising. But the focus on sharp attackers until now we can't have high hopes, let alone Hojlund can't guarantee recovery in a short time. It's a shame that mainstay defender Erik Ten Hag is still out for a long time due to injury. If Martinez recovers, maybe the back line can be more solid.
Many people are seeing Amrabat as a replacement or backup of Casemiro. This is not how I .seeing it. U less Erik 10 is seeing differently from me and allign with what majority is saying. I do think that both Casemiro and Amrabat may be starting simultaneously for Manchester United which will not be a bad gesture. This will enable Bruno to help attack without having to return to defence every now and then. Amrabat is a faithful fellow and his presence in the Manchester United squad will make a big difference.

Sofyan Amrabat transfer should definitely be helpful for Manchester United. He is a really decent defensive midfielder who can hopefully play coherenty with Casemiro in the same area. Eriksen was a temporary choice for them there and Erik ten Hag must be relieved about solving this problem before the end of the transfer window.

Now Manchester United should be better at defending. But we still sometimes see Varane - Martinez duo having issues. But it must be just about being not 100% ready for the new season. In a few weeks this duo should be starting to play decently like in the last season. They really need to work out these issues before the Champions League starts to do a good work there.
Good news for Manchester United before playing in UEFA Champion League after success signing Sofyan Amrabat, he will be great partner as holding midfielder for Casemiro and actually Erik ten Hag not worry about defensive area after arriving Sofyan Amrabat. Become solving problem for Manchester United exactly in defender after conceded four goals in four match at Premier League and Sofyan Amrabat will make United defensive are more solid.

Still get problem with central defender position, I don't think bad ideas when playing in Champion League Erik ten Hag can move down Sofyan Amrabat position from holding midfielder become central defender and partner for Varane.

I want to correct your writing a little, maybe what you mean is PSV, not PSG. Sevilla's squad in Laliga is currently very bad and hasn't even changed from the previous season, but in European competition it always makes it difficult for opposing teams, last season they even won the Europa League Trophy. I also like what you said in predicting between Sevilla and PSV who is superior and able to advance to the next phase. I think Sevilla is superior because of the experience and mentality of the players.

On the other hand, I am quite worried about the Arsenal team if they don't qualify for the next stage. Because PSV and Sevilla. These two teams are teams that often make it difficult for the big teams in European league competition and in the UCL, even though the Seville team is currently in a bad condition, they often surprise in important matches. I also hope that in Group A Galatasaray can make a surprise.

Even Tuchel said Drtmound talked about Group F and he said Dortmund is not going to have easy games in the grouping stage against Newcastle, PSG, and Ac Milan.
While his team Bayern Munich got a better situation they are in the same group as Galatasaray, Copenhagen, and Manchester United.

https://www.sportnews.bz/artikel/fussball/international/champions-league/bayern-laechelt-dortmund-hadert-eine-hammergruppe

Thomas Tuchel is right, but I don't expect them to make it to the semi-finals this season even though Bayern Munich are in a relatively easy group. Bayern Munich and Manchester United are two teams that have a big chance of qualifying for the round of 16, but I don't think they should underestimate the strength of the other team. It's a 90-minute match where it's always possible to have a surprise result, so I hope Tuchel doesn't have to talk too much about his good chances.

Dortmund did not have easy opponents because they were in the same group as PSG, Milan and Newcastle. Dortmund can be expected to be the one to lock in a ticket to the round of 16, but they have to work hard to take as many points as possible from a team that may be better than them.

I have seen his game when Amrabat defended Morocco at the 2022 World Cup, he is one of the best defensive midfielders at the moment. However, because playing with Fiorentina Amrabat is rarely exposed by the media, I consider his move to Man United with a permanent purchase clause at the end of the season to be very wise. I predict United midfield duo will be very solid with him, Casemiro now has the right tandem.

When Mason Mount returns from injury, United will have a midfield to fear. Casemiro, Amrabat and Mount have the potential to bring silverware to United sooner or later. Hojlund will be very sharp with full support from this midfield.

IMO, Sofyan Amrabat is a pretty good player. But in truth, United needs more than that. it's just that with a limited spending budget, Ten Hag must maximize the search for players that suit his team's needs. but on condition, they do not spend a very large budget.  which in the end, Ten Hag targeted Sofyan Amrabat. even then as a loan player, but Manchester United will make it permanent in the summer of next year with an additional 20 million euros + 5 million euro add-ons.

Well, if Amrabat is paired with Casemiro as a pivot, and if they have chemistry, it looks like it will make Manchester United a little stronger. besides that, United also has several reserve player options that are quite on par with the main squad.
talking about Mason Mount, it seems that he still needs a strong bond with his new squad. also, he had to adapt to the system Ten Hag put in place. As for Hojlund, we haven't seen how he will currently make his debut with United. however, before this competition started, Hojlund should have recovered from his injury. Moreover, the opponent of Manchester United is Bayern Munich. Like it or not, Ten Hag had to prepare his team's squad when they visited Bayern Munich's headquarters. and for sure, it will be a tough match for The Red Devils.

It seems that this is indeed a very good decision for Manchester United to bring in a player like Amrabat to strengthen the team's midfield. Facing strong teams like Bayern Munich in the group will be a good test for Manchester United, and Amrabat could be a disturbing element in the opponent's defense in midfield. However, it is also important to remember that a player's role in a team does not only depend on the individual, but also on the teamwork as a whole. Manchester United will need to adapt quickly to these new players and create the ability to play together as a solid unit. Hopefully Amrabat and the other recruits can make a positive contribution and help Manchester United achieve success at a high level of competition.

Naples didn't go very well with luck. He's in the same group as Real Madrid while it went very well at Inter, who knows if he'll be able to take advantage of this luck.
Italian teams can make it through to the group stage.
Even Barcelona is not going badly for him, a simple group after all.
Bayern munich might be my choice to win Group A because they have everything to beat their opponents. Moreover, Harry Kane has become their goal machine this season, so there is no big doubt for Bayern Munich to win the Group. Apart from that, Barcelona, who returned to mighty last season after winning the Laliga trophy, made them the most feared by their opponents in Group H.

Now the most interesting thing is of course Group F because it is filled with big teams which makes Group F difficult to predict who will qualify for the next round. Indeed every season there are always surprises in the group phase like last season when Barcelona had to be eliminated early. So, will this season PSG be eliminated early and that could happen if they are not consistent in every game.
This year Bayern Munich has fired its miraculous weapon. Harry Kane finally left Tottenham, he never showed his potential in that team last season, and it's a bit related to the overall team. In Group A, I see Bayern Munich as the strongest team in the rim, maybe they can go head-to-head with United. Galatasaray and Copenhagen are very weak against the other duo, of course, I am more hopeful than Galatasaray, the squad looks stronger this year. Icardi does not have a problem with the goal, he creates and finalizes the goal in every match. It is very nice that Galatasaray is playing their first match with Copenhagen, if they get points without mistakes from this match, Galatasaray will be a very strong morale for the next match.
