Statistically, PSV played better than Rangers but Rangers had more luck.

Dest got into the starting lineup right away and had a solid showing against the Rangers.

This seems reasonable to me as well. I have also watched a few parts of the game and I thought that a draw is a likely outcome because the rangers can get quite hyped in their home games and perform a lot better than they would in an away stadium. At the same time it was also quite clear that PSV would take the draw over risking a stupid loss in that game and I think it was the right strategy knowing that they have their home game in reserve. There was no need for a third goal as they knew that it would come down to the home. The difference between being down a loss against the Rangers or starting the second leg from zero is huge because the Rangers can be nasty in their defense. But now I think PSV is a pretty big favorite in the second leg.

I think Rakow deserved at least 1 goal last night as this team is playing really good compared to Copenhagen who barely had any real chances to score but the luck was on their side. However , for 2nd round , I do see Rakov making a huge game and actually qualify into UCL groups. Cool

PSV was definitely the more dominating team in that match against Rangers. They had the most amount of possession. But I definitely think that they could do better while defending. Credit goes to Rangers for being able to take the chances well that they had. I think in the second leg PSV will try to make sure that they win and go forward in the competition.

Copenhagen was actually blessed with its own goal. After that, they definitely did concentrate a lot on defending the lead that they got luckily. They are also going to carry forward the lead in the second leg. But I don’t think it is going to be a substantial lead. They cannot sit on it and keep defending.

As I predicted that Copenhagen will win the away first leg against Rakow. Meanwhile, AEK Athens had to accept defeat by the host Royal with the same thin score. The only problem if PSV shall also try to prepare itself to face penalty once rangers will able to make the second leg to draw like the first leg. It's such a difficult situation for rangers as the team must be playing away without having benefit in aggregate.
I will prefer to take PSV for the second leg. The chance to dominate ranger is very big. Ranger needs to try even harder than the first leg. Let's see how the second leg will be going on.
My prediction if it's gonna be BTTS but PSV will be winning against rangers with small scores. The result from the first leg may make a lot of people feel unsatisfied.
