Galatasaray were therefore at a bit of a disadvantage compared to their opponent and didn't play superior for most of the match. But they won the match because they had experienced players. Mertens, Icardi, Muslera push the team in such matches. Last night's match was one of those matches. Icardi came on the scene unexpectedly and gave Galatasaray a boost with a great goal. The match in Istanbul will undoubtedly be a very exciting one. Galatasaray have the scoring advantage. Now they will want to win the second leg with the strong support of their fans.

Excuse me but what game are you talking about between Galatasaray and Panathinaikos? I was trying to find it and the last one that shows up on the Internet is from 2019, which was a friendly match and ended 2-1 for Galatasaray.

Anyway, this was an important win against Molde and it is a huge step towards the Champions League qualification as it is anything but simple to beat Galatasaray in Istanbul. But it's important to not that they won this game because they had a high efficiency in their offense while they could still improve their defense a lot. Molde was just not able to efficiently use their opportunities. It makes Galatasaray's performance look better than it actually was.

Probably not the defense, but the attack in this match was Galatasaray super, by good to concede 2 goals from such a team Galatasaray should not have, but in attack the team was lucky and eventually managed to win. Galatasaray are keen to qualify for the Champions League at any cost. And Galatasaray's performance is pretty good in every match. Despite not performing very well against Molde, they managed to win this match. Galatasaray won the match 3-2. But the entire match was dominated by Molde players. There is no doubt that Molde performed well in the home match. They also attacked a lot. Galatasaray, however, were much quieter. They were keeping the defense tight and trying to score on the counter attack. Galatasaray's match strategy was very good. This is why the team won against molde. I think this team will be able to perform well in the second leg as well and qualify for the Champions League.

Speaking for Molde, they were very effective in yesterday's match. They were unlucky that there were players whose finishing was not good. Galatasaray, on the other hand, managed to win despite entering very few positions. Mauro Icardi played a big part in the win. Galatasaray got one goal and one assist with Icardi. Since the rematch will be in Istanbul, I don't give Molde many chances.

Maccabi Haifa vs Young Boy ended goalless, it's a shame that Maccabi Haifa was not able to maximize the advantage as the host in this first leg, even though they controlled the match they had few chances and Young Boys will have more chances to qualify even though in this first leg match theirs game isn't good enough.
