One beauty about the UEFA Champions League is that it is the home of surprises and upsets. Newcastle can pull up a surprise in the champions league next season and surprise many punters of the game. I believe the Newcastle United team goal is to reach the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League. I believe Eddie Howe can achieve that
If you look at it in terms of the main goal of all the teams that have entered the Champions League next season is to win the Champions League. But because remembering that it will never be easy for all teams in fighting to become champions in the Champions League, of course some teams only target achievements for certain rounds. But if they can get more than that, I think that's more worthy of being called a surprise.

Winning the Champions League title is always very difficult. The best teams from La Liga, Premier League, Serie A, and Bundesliga perform in the Champions League. Almost every team has a strong squad. This is why it is very difficult to predict which team will win the Champions League. Real Madrid, Manchester United, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich are all looking to strengthen their squads. Adding new players to the squad. And so I am not sure whether the performance of these teams will be stable in the coming season. But Guardiola has kept his squad largely unchanged. Manchester City's performance is most likely to be stable at the start of next season.

I think Osimhen is a perfect striker for PSG and he will be useful for PSG even that team start a new season with or without Mbappe. With Osimhen, PSG will have a good striker who will bring many goals for their team and more than that, he will be able to support Mbappe (if Mbappe stays) and other players by his readiness to do proactively defense at the frontline.

If anyone needs examples for his readiness to do that, look at his performance in Champions League matches with Leipzig. Even when Napoli led with big goal difference, Osimhen still chased the ball around the box of Leipzig.
PSG must prepare a backup option if they fail to reach a contract extension with Mbappe and have to sell him in this season's transfer market, Victo Osimhen is the perfect option to replace Mbappe, his performance was quite consistent last season and he managed to become Napoli's top scorer with 26 goals from 32 matches in Serie A, proving Osimhen's capacity to be PSG's striker. But still dilemma with PSG current Mbappe situation unclear yet, not confirming about extend contract or not make negotiation for PSG signing new player faced difficult. PSG should have final decision from Mbappe extend or sell him in this summer window transfer before loss compete with other teams who in fighting race sign Osimhen.

Classically Manchester City is a contender for the Champions League and EPL titles by default. What makes this easy to happen is the fact that the other teams are playing poorly. Let's start with Manchester United bad debut, Liverpool out of its normal shape, Bayern Munich and PSG aren't that competitive, Real Madrid wasn't playing as they used to do, Barcelona failed bad in European competitions altogether... That was like a direct road to the titles. Even the Italian clubs weren't successful in stopping City.
Did you wanna say if city was lucky enough caused by another team performed poorly during last season? i can't even agree with you. What about arsenal? You are only taking MU and Liverpool while arsenal played so perfect since early of season.
I can't even agree with you. The fact that if it's not all of clubs were playing so badly. Some clubs even make impressive performance during last season. The main reason if manchester city was reaching its peak performance last season.
There is also a chance for chelsea to repeat the same thing again next season. So many clubs have been trying so hard to prevent city.
Even city has been facing the difficult way to win UCL last season but city was over power last season. I just tell you this if the domination by city may continue till next season.

Arsenal weren't very good at the end of the season..... So City were able to use Arsenal's mistakes to their advantage.... But of course you can't say that City were just lucky.... Objectively in the last season of the Champions League for me there were two candidates to win... Real Madrid and Man City... I even thought that they would meet in the final, but it happened earlier....
Arsenal got off to a flying start last season which they maintained until the middle of the season but were unable to get off to a flying start due to injuries to most of their players. They lost the English Premier League title to Manchester City at the very end of the season with most of the regular XI sidelined with injuries. They will probably regret coming so close to the Premier League title but losing in the end.

On the other hand, Manchester City is one of the favorites in this season of the Champions League, but the biggest obstacle for Manchester City was Real Madrid.
I expected Real Madrid and Manchester City to play in the final, unfortunately these two teams met in the semi-final which resulted in one team being eliminated from the semi-final and that team was Real Madrid. Later, Manchester City won the Champions League for the first time from the semi-finals to the final and from the final.

Newcastle are going to be new around here after a really long break. They qualified for the Champions League in the 2003/04 season the last time. It must be times with Alan Shearer. Now they don't have one of the best squads in the EPL though. They have just consolidated the squad a little more after the sale of the team.

However this was still enough for them to make it to top 4. But to maintain this level they need to increase the squad quality more than this. Tonali has joined the team which I call a really good transfer to the area between defense and the centre of midfield. He can secure the defense area more as a solid defensive midfielder.

But there is still a need for more transfers if they aim to do some noteworthy things in the Champions League. It is important for the EPL and CL both of course.
But nobody expected them to do as well as they did in the Premier League last season and I find it a bit difficult to predict how much potential is still left to be used in the team they have and what kind of players they can sign during the transfer window that is still open for some time. I wouldn't underestimate them while at the same time not expect too much, but it is one of these teams that could be able to surprise us during the group stage. There have been underdogs in the past beating the favorites during the group stage and I wouldn't call Newcastle an underdog. They are something in between because they are not known very well yet.
Newcastle United is having tag of surprise package in last season because in presence of teams like Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham they have fourth spot which is impressive now first time they are jumping into Champions League even have no high expectations, but things are looking good for them because they have target of going with long term planning and most chances if they have something positive this could be also good for them because now their main focus is still having place into top four in Premier League and it's never been easy with now many changes are happening and teams are increasing their potential for fighting hard in future.

If they reach into knock out stage this could be impressive for them because things are surely not good, but they have enough quality to do things as they need to have better end of next season as well.

I think Newcastle United is in a great spot right now also in the Champions League as the expectations aren't that high a for other teams. If they get knocked out in the group stage, nobody will really talk negatively about them since they don't have the Messis and Ronaldos on their team and everyone thinks they must win the title. For PSG the talk started as soon as they did not win a game even in the group stage. This is where it is much more comfortable for Newcastle and they can deeply put their focus onto things that are important. It's the training and the analysis and they can see  what's possible in the competition. I think sometimes it can be quite freeing to not be omnipresent in the media that is raising the pressure for weeks and months before the first game even started.

I hope so but we must see how good newcastle during the early match of premier league. UCL is a place where so many greatest clubs competed to beat each other. Newcastle gonna be among the best club who gonna try to win UCL trophy.
Eddie howe needs to strengthen its squad to face UCL next season. That will not ba an easy job to be done by him. It's caused by newcastle is playing again in UCL after the club was absent for a very long time. I just gonna say if newcastle may come with something new compared with last season.

Newcastle needs to make sure its level gonna be in the same level as manchester city to compete in UCL next season. I have faith in newcastle will be achieving better result compared with arsenal or even manchester united itself.

The coach tries so hard to bring some great players to the club.

In fact, with the new Arab owners, Newcastle became the richest football club in the world.
The new owners clearly have a very good strategy and long-term plan for Newcastle and they are in no rush. Already in the first real season, they won participation in the Champions League without investing too much money for new players.
I think Newcastle will continue to grow every season and could soon replace Manchester City at the top of English and European football.
It won't happen overnight, but in 4-5 years, I believe that Newcastle could reach and even overtake Manchester City, with such a patient and smart plan for the gradual growth of the club by the new owners.
This season, it is still too early to expect big things from them.
Every team can develop in a better direction if they have good finances and management too. Newcastle is one of the many teams that have a lot of spending each season because of their owners, but they will not easily overtake Manchester City who have dominated the Premier League in recent seasons. If Newcastle can be consistent in their good changes, then surely they will be a tight competitor in the Premier League among several other top teams.

Indeed, there is a possibility that Newcastle can become a great competitor in both the Premier League and the Champions League, but they must be consistent enough and continue to improve the quality of their team from season to season.

The most consistent team last season was Manchester City. They were very consistent at the start of the season. And they get stronger towards the end of the season. Guardiola was able to fix all the minor problems within the team. And Guardiola's match strategy was also excellent. And so Manchester City's performance deteriorated. Had Arsenal's performances continued towards the end of the season, it would have been very difficult for City to win the title.

If Manchester City and Real Madrid had not met in the final, then maybe we would have seen the final between these two teams. However, Madrid had several tactical errors against Manchester City. I think their defenders suddenly lost confidence which is why they lost badly against City.

I don't think other clubs played poor, is not that bad, just that lack of insight, focus, and strategy, aside playing I think there are other factors that give an advantage over other clubs, I noticed one thing about manchester city recently during the leagues from the beginning and the middle of the seasons they make sure to win as many matches as they could, to gather point so that towards the end of the season they don't stress to much, and manchester united and Liverpool actually did well, the only club that did not do well is Chelsea, one thing about football is new season new performance.

Has stated above I also did not agree with him about other clubs playing poor, and arsenal did play well but at some point, they started losing games which affected their point accumulation that was the advantage manchester city had over them, and I don't know if Arsenal was scared of manchester city, one way or the other manchester city always win against them, and I don't agree that city will dominate next season, you can not judge what happened this season with that of next season.

I can say City have had their best season last season because this season is really going to be competitive, looking at how other teams are strengthening their squad and getting ready for the league next season, and in the champions league, there will be other teams that will be out to compete with City because I believe they will want to win the champions league trophy back to back because that is the normal style of Pep Guardiola who is seen as the World's best coach now.  I am an Arsenal fan,and I will be backing Arsenal to get to the final of the UEFA Champions league next season. They have added some new signings that can help them get to the height they want to reach,so good luck to them.

I think the target of reaching the last 16 of the champions league feels very realistic for Newcastle, especially since they haven't been in Europe's highest competition for so long. I think Eddie Howie knows very well what they need in order to survive until that round and go through every match that is there with a win. Maybe it will be his first achievement as a Newcastle coach if he can reach that stage and if he fails to take Newcastle to that stage, he will still be able to try again at another time if he still has the same squad as now. Now Newcastle's focus remains the same, namely maintaining the top 4 in the domestic league and of course bringing this team much better in the champions league, it requires extraordinary energy and mind.
At least for almost 20 years, Newcastle did not have the opportunity to compete in the Champions League and last season managed to qualify for the top 4 in the Premier League which made them have a Champions League ticket so that this golden opportunity was impossible to waste Eddie Howie must have prepared carefully for the Champions League because you can see that last season Newcastle got the top 4 of the Premier League so it is still very likely that Newcastle will also qualify for the top 16 of the 2023/24 Champions League season.
We'll just have to wait and see if Newcastle can really live up to expectations or get knocked out before entering the last 16.

What's interesting and Pep is that he never tried to prohibit or roughly free the players to make a choice whether he would leave or not.
This proves that he is one of those coaches who is quite confident regardless of their players leaving because he is aware of the capacity of the players and he is confident that the training schemes and processes he has are so good that even if some players leave he can still get a decent replacement even better.
This is one of the positive things that Pep has and this is precisely what makes him one of the coaches who can get good performance and become one of the best coaches today.
Yes that's true, apart from having a firm and confident attitude Guardiola has also analyzed his players long ago. So far Ikay Gundogan, who was released to Barcelona on a free transfer, has also been anticipated by Pep Guardiola. Bernardo Silva and Mateo Kovacic can replace the roles left by Gundogan. In terms of age, Gundogan is no longer young and Pep cannot guarantee him a place in the main squad for Man City next season. I think this is one of the factors why Pep doesn't hold back players who want to leave Man City. On the other hand, Man City and Guardiola are more fortunate in this case because they are the club that every player wants, especially after winning the Treble Winner last season.

Next season Man City is still a strong candidate and in defending their championship, both in the EPL and Champions League they are still in the favorite position as the strongest team next season.
The coach must be firm, but at the same time the coach must also have a sense of family and nurture his players. It doesn't have to be excessive but at least make the player feel comfortable when working with a coach. Things like this seem simple, but it is precisely that simplicity that makes many ignored, even though when it can be done it will have a very positive impact on all elements of the player.
They must be able to distinguish in what circumstances they must be firm and in what circumstances they must blend in to create a close sense of family within the squad.
what is more certain is about fair policies. I mean if a coach has a wise and fair nature, this can be sympathetic to players to be close and open to the coach about all the weaknesses or strengths of their performance. they exchange ideas with each other to find solutions to be able to strengthen their team.
like Guardiola who has the wise nature of each of his players and he is also good at reading situations to be open to each other's evaluation of improving performance. and the result is perfect for me because Man City is proving to be stronger like last season because of coaches and players who can be solid.

Victor Osimhen has been a speculation for PSG as well. Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis made a statement that PSG could even be the only team to afford him now. Their asking price is believed to be around 150 million euros now. He says that they can evaluate the offer seriously if PSG offer around 200 million euros.

Even if PSG meet only the asking price I don't feel like they are likely to find an opponent in this race at that level. It is all up to whether PSG really see him as priority.

As far as I know PSG have decided to play heavy and will probably sign Victor Osimen
next year he will have a very performing team, who knows what to do in the Champions League, by the way did he qualify for the Champions League?
I do not remember
Why next year but not this year?

PSG likely will lose Mbappe in this summer as they can not convince or force him to sign a new contract and they don't want to lose him as a free player next year. So the only option is selling him in this summer and when they sell him, they will have money. It together with their needs to find alternatives for both Messi and Osimhen, will give them enough big reasons to buy the Nigierian striker.

Will they bring both Osimhen and Kravatskhelia to Paris to replace Messi and Mbappe?

I think they wanted to mean the coming season by saying next year. The new season hasn't started yet in the end.

Victor Osimhen has been a speculation for PSG as well. Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis made a statement that PSG could even be the only team to afford him now.

Yes, Manchester city coach is doing a great job that is giving the fans joy and he is ready to do more so that he will help the team to be consistent in winning the champion league title every season, which is possible based on the potential players he brought to the team. I think, next season will be a tough season to all the teams because all the teams are working seriously to bring in new talented players in this summer to withstand the strong teams in the champion league competition, and Manchester city coach too is seriously working to ensure they maintain a good position through out the tournament. Erling Haaland has done well in this season, I believe he will still perform well next season in a way he will help the team to achieve more goals that will bring victory to the team.
unfortunately Man City lost Gundogan, but luckily PSG were turned down when they wanted to bring in Bernardo Silva. if Pep lost a lot of players in his squad last season, it could be bad for their form this season. but I'm sure Pep has considered everything well. some names are leaving, but some names are also coming. the competition in the EPL will be interesting as well as the strong teams that qualify for the UCL.
There is no limits to what Pep Guardiola can achieve considering his coaching talent and ability. He won the trebble last season and will want to double his champions league winning next season,he will be considering winning it back to back which I see being possible because nothing is impossible for Pep.They have lost Gundogan and might lose Bernardo Silva in this season's transfer window, but one thing I know about Pep is that he always know how to get the right players for his team, therefore replacing them will not really be a big task for him.Haaland did tremendously well last season and will want to continue that form again this season, but it might be very tough for him because premier league defenders will be out fully for him to put him on a long goal drought. Premier league defenders are known for doing that to good attackers, but let's see if it can be possible in the case of Haaland.
