Rumor has it, Mikel Arteta confirmed Arsenal without Gabriel Jesus at the start of the season. Arteta revealed that G.Jesus would not play because he was having problems with his knee, quoted from the Football London page. thus, it seems likely that Arteta will be eyeing several strikers instead. it could be that their target is Vlahovic, or Kudus. for sure, Arteta will be looking for the ideal option. although in truth, they still have Nketiah and Trossard. thus, this squad will be much more competitive to compete in all competitions.

However, as you said their target is the Premier League trophy and will try to compete closely with Manchester City. but that does not mean, the Gunner's young squad will not fulfill their ambitions in this competition. with enough depth, I hope Arsenal can achieve the best results even if they don't win the Champions League trophy. because it's hard, if they will win a trophy in this competition.
To be honest, even though I am an Arsenal fan. but either way, I have to be realistic. in fact, there are many more established and more favored clubs. that's why, I find it difficult for Arsenal to be a strong competitor in the race for trophies. ideally, the Gunners should be able to qualify until the knockout like what you say. it will be even better, if they can perform optimally and surprise us.
If you look at what happened to Gabriel Jesus, of course Arteta experienced a second period that was quite unlucky because he lost Gabriel Jesus before the Premier League resumed rolling. In the previous season Gabriel Jesus also suffered an injury which kept him out of many of the matches played by arsenal. Well, at the beginning of next season, Gabriel Jesus is also predicted to be absent due to the injury he has experienced.

I think this news is quite worrying for the fans because this season Arsenal will play in the champions league and they need to prepare as best they can to be able to compete stronger next season. Hopefully Jesus can come back sooner because Arsenal don't have a stock of more aggressive attackers compared to him.

Yes Arsenal most likely be able to compete, considering currently squad of the gunners also getting better, and yes they should not be underestimated. I personally hope Gabriel Jesus can return to his best performance after his injury, because without him maybe Arsenal will not be able to show their best performance in this events. But although the Arsenal squad is getting better, I personally not too sure they can win trophy UCL, like Manchester City did last season because this is a new season for Arsenal play in this luxury event after long time absence.

Arsenal have a squad with young players and of course, I think that factor also has an impact on their mentality as well from time to time. Because after all, building a team to be strong in all competitions doesn't seem to only be about having young players. Because if the coach is not able to form the mentality of the players to become a winning mentality, then at least they will experience a decrease in performance from time to time. Thus, every player must have a winning mentality and excellent conditions, of course to be able to have consistent performance throughout the season.

Arsenal had selected the young player as compared to the other team, they had the youngest squad in the league. The Arsenal had change the team with younger players all the time,it’s their one of the strategy. They think building the team with the younger players will help to the best team, but some experienced players also placed in the team to handle the tough situation of the game. The coach of the Arsenal playing huge impacts in the team spirit and winning strategy of the team. The mentality of the coach and player should in the same manner to win the game. The coach should trigger the player to handle the tough situation and how to win at the last minute game. The potential of the players was totally depend on the team coach.

I don't think, Arsenal will experience any challenges they experienced last season that made them not to lift any title through out the season because of the poor performance. I believe Arsenal coach will do everything possible in this summer to work on some of their players to ensure they maintain a good stand in this season to bring progress to the team. If Arsenal strikers can demonstrate what they displayed to defeated their opponent 5-3 in their pre-season match few days ago, show that they will not allow any team to disgrace them in the UEFA champions league competition because they have what it takes to embrace the title in this season.
After few years we have Arsenal in better shape with as they are working in transfer window for the strength of their team look like now they are having fair chance for the better result and their new recruited players can bring better results which will help them for having another challenging year in Premier League and in Champions League most chances they will be not had any problem for the having spot into knockout round because they are strong team which is capable of having better results against opponents.

With most chances their main target could be to have fight hard for the title in Premier League because in last season they lost this in last few rounds, but this time things are looking much better, and they can do good to challenge for the titleholder as well.

Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez also made comments about Arsenal and Mikel Arteta. It was a friendly game but they didn't play like it was a friendly. They played to win and was very strong than Xavi Hernandez expected.
After so many years of trying and failing this season is another to see how they will progress after so much absence from one of the biggest games in all of Europe. The lose of Gabriel Jesus to Injury will affect them at the start of the new season but he will be back. Nketiah will sure fill in well until Gabriel returns but he is not matured enough to lead Arsenals attacking force. He misses a lot of chance.
Arsenal's performance against Barcelona is  a strong indicator that they'll be a major threat to other European clubs in next season's UEFA Champions League competition. Though it was just a preseason game that we can't really conclude how good of a side Arsenal can be but there are so many positives to take from the game.
Mikel Arteta since his arrival at get club has done exceptionally well for the club in terms of improving the quality and performance of the club and it seems next season will be that season that they'll make a big statement by winning a major trophy

You should have answers to your questions about Arsenal in the Champions League, but in my opinion Arsenal is not a team that has a lot of experience in the Champions League compared to Manchester City and its coach.

Pep Guardiola and Arteta are different, they have also never been the same in terms of strategy and skill in managing the game, but Arteta and Arsenal cannot be completely underestimated about their chances in the Champions League. After all, Arsenal have never seemed to reach the final in their participation in the Champions League so far, AFAIK, but Manchester City succeeded in the second final and win titles after being thwarted by Chelsea while coached by Tuchel.

We don't know about Arsenal and Manchester City in the next season and we can't be sure about their performance in the next champions league but from what we saw in the last season Arteta is not experienced like Pep Guardiola and this can be a weakness for Arsenal, however, even this young coach in Arsenal had good results is the last season and they can have better performance now. Also, Arsenal spent much more money in this season and they tried to improve the team. This can be a good reason to say we can expect to see much better results from Arsenal and even see them racing for the champions league title.

Should that be the reason why Arsenal are declared ready to fight for the Champions League having basically been absent in recent seasons?
I know Arsenal deserve to be the best candidate from the Premier League for the Champions League next season after they have good form, but that doesn't necessarily mean that Arsenal have a high chance of reaching the last stages of this elite competition.

Arsenal still has many shortcomings that need to be corrected by their coach, but we all know that Arteta looks very ambitious to bring Arsenal to the top of glory, especially when he has a team that can be relied on. I don't think Arsenal will reach the semi-finals of the Champions League next season, but let's see how they get there.

After so many years of trying and failing this season is another to see how they will progress after so much absence from one of the biggest games in all of Europe. The loss of Gabriel Jesus has clearly left Arsenal short of strikers at a time when they were having a hard time. Jesus had to miss a few weeks with an injury at the start of the season but I think he will be back as scheduled.

I know everything you're saying, and I'm not saying Arsenal can win the title next season and I'm just saying Arsenal can compete which doesn't mean they can win it.
and it is true that Pep Guardiola and Arteta are different and even very different when viewed from the experience and also the achievements of the two, of course Pep Guardiola is far superior to Arteta. And Arsenal also had experience in the Champions League at that time, and I only hope Arsenal come back and compete in this prestigious League.

There is some truth to what you said about the European league competition they took part in last season and we indirectly know that to reach the semi-finals of the European league, Arsenal were not able to do it. I think the champions league will be more difficult than the european league and it is a challenge they have to overcome. Moreover, Arsenal have spent a lot of money in the transfer market this season and if they can't achieve a good target in the champions league it will certainly feel very pointless. Maybe they shouldn't let their guard down because any team always makes unexpected surprises, especially when Arsenal are the favorites to win they can't take their opponents lightly.
I'm not underestimating Arsenal completely especially about their chances of winning the Champions League title next season. Arsenal definitely have a chance proportionally based on the quality and ability of the coach, but I believe that there will not be many people who say that Arsenal are the favorites for the title.

Here I tend to believe that Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are the 3 teams that have a greater chance of winning the title than Arsenal, but Arsenal are competitors that no team should underestimate. I believe Arsenal have the ambition to win titles, but they haven't been able to convince a lot of people that they can do it without problems.

But this also shows what it takes to win the Champions League, doesn't it? Think about for how long Manchester City has been performing on an incredible level and yet it took them so long to finally win the title. The competition for that title is fierce and it takes so much to win it. When you just consider the odds at the bookies, I think Manchester City has been the favorite for many years in a row and yet they couldn't win it until now. A few teams could play an important role that haven't been among the top favorites for a while now. I think Manchester United could also be one of the teams that not many expect to make it very far, but them and Arsenal will be hard opponents for any other team I think.

Arsenal have big ambitions about whatever competition they enter. Arteta has built his squad well and improved his side to near perfection last season, but I agree they haven't got the winning mentality that one would expect. Even if Arsenal proved their quality last season, I believe they will never be the same next season. Opportunities can increase at any time for Arsenal and they can also decrease, it depends on how Arsenal form next season.

The Champions League is a different competition compared to the Premier League and other domestic competitions, so even though Arsenal have young quality players like now, that doesn't guarantee they can win the title without good experience in previous seasons.

I didn't like Galatasaray's performance at all in the second leg. I was expecting to see a full domination and a win by a few goals at least. But they barely won by 1-0 and they could have even conceded an equalizer as their opponent had big chances from time to time also. Normally there is a huge power gap between Galatasaray and Zalgiris.

I guess the reason of Galatasaray's struggle was their not being fully ready for this season. The season has started officially quite early for them this time and they are really not good at dealing with it yet. There are only a few days to go for their next round matchup to start.

Turkish teams can have this kind of problems early in the season but the most important thing is to make up for that quickly.

I agree in everything, currently the physical form of the galatasaray players is not at the top but they faced an opponent much lower than their technical potential, I also expected a much more aggressive game from galatasaray but this was not the case! they probably still need a few weeks to get into physical shape! however, it must also be said that Zalgaris played with less pressure and anxiety and this often helps a lot when you have almost nothing to lose

Their dominance is actually very good with ball possession and opportunities, it's just that they always fail in finishing and it can be seen when their many shoots are not accompanied by on target because if you look at the 20 shots only 4 are on target.
On the other hand, Zalgiris' play was also quite good because they dared to play openly even though they lost possession of the ball, of course it is also worth appreciating.
Currently Galatasaray is trying to return to remembering in the previous season they had to be willing not to follow with the condition of the club which was quite destroyed and scattered in the lower standings in domestic competitions. Now their momentum is there with Dries Mertens as a pedestal.

Today in UEFA Champions League Copenhagen vs Breiðablik two team match, Copenhagen won the match by scoring 6 goals. I could not enjoy the whole game in this match. But I regret not being able to enjoy the match. Breiðablik performed very well in the first half of this match but the end of the game.  Breiðablik scored 3 goals in this match. J. Svanþórsson scored the first goal in the first 9 minutes of the game. I think Breiðablik's players lost today's match due to bad performance. Breiðablik's goalkeeper was very weak first.  Avasta had a good performance. However, I think it would have been a lot of fun to enjoy this match.
When you have a smaller team going against a bigger team, you know that it is going to be tough. The main reason for this is the fact that the smaller team doesn't do what they should, and do something that is wild, something that is much bigger than their talent, they always end up with a strategy that utilizes that difference. Think of them like Leonidas with his 300 Spartans, they always just defend so well and play great counter attacking football.

This game seems like a great one to catch up for sure, I was watching Galatasaray game and it was one of the most boring games I have seen so far this season, I bet I will see more boring games later on, but it takes the top spot for the time being so far, it was terrible.

But the scenario you described sometimes is exactly the little advantage that the smaller teams have. They literally can't lose because nobody expects them to win anyway and this is what also made it quite hard for the favorites in the last Champions League final. I remember the match and I thought all the time that this is not the Manchester City we know because you could see their fear to lose that final. And Inter Milan made the best out of that situation. A great example for a game to show that in a final everything is possible for any team or any player. The stakes are just higher because there is only this one game. Losing one game in the group stage doesn't matter, losing the final does of course matter and losing a game in the knockout games matters almost all the time. It is still four weeks until the drawing for the group stage will take place.

Actually, every season Arsenal is always active in the transfer market to get the players they want to strengthen the performance of this club.
But it just that sometimes in every season there are problems such as decreased reserves causing Arsenal to be unable to get the players they want and for this season Arteta is trying to be more active to get some young players who will be recruited as starters this season and Arteta is currently on the situation is very excited to beat the rival club Manchstr city to be able to get the champions league trophy like the rival club.
I am pretty sure this season Arsenal has had tremendous improvements and not only in the premier league, of course in the champions league they will always perform well and Arteta as a coach will maintain the stability of his players not to get injured.
Because if the player you rely on is injured or another player is injured, it will certainly reduce the club performance so that the Arsenal coach task is also a bit heavy.
