Galatasaray will win the match, I have no doubt about it. However, I can't quite predict how it will end. I predict they will score at least 2 goals. Zalgiris will do his best. If Galatasaray is eliminated, it will be a big shock. Zalgiris will probably look for a goal by defending and counterattacking to maintain the tie in the first match.
Galatasaray won with 1 goal vs Zalgiris and since the result of the 1st leg was 2-2 then Galatasaray made it to the third qualifying round where they will face Olimpija.
In the other games, Limassol won big again, their aggregate is 11 goals. Copenhagen scored 6 goals in the second qualifying round and passed.
The most unfortunate match was Sheriff one since they lost with 4 goals while they were advancing with 2 goals to 0 in aggregate!

Yes Arsenal have won only local championships in team history. Maybe they could have achieved the Champions League title in their past when they had great players such as Thierry Henry. Now they are building their future with young and talented players. Arteta has done a really good work with this squad so far. There was a big improvement last season. But it is still doubtful if they can show the same performance in the Champions League as well. It has been a while since they joined this tournament the last time.

But if we see consistency in the Champions League as well they can at least be good enough to get past group stage. It is up to having a good draw as well of course.

I don't see any big hopes for Arsenal in the Champions League next season especially regarding the title. Even though Arteta has built the quality of the team and his game well, I don't think Arsenal are ready to win the Champions League title in the next 1-3 seasons. Arsenal have the potential to win the Champions League title if this team has really good mentality, but so far I don't think Arsenal have.

We all know Arsenal started to prove their worth with Arteta in the last season but I think they need to put in a lot of work and investment before winning the Champions League title. Of course because of that I don't expect Arsenal to be included in the list of favorites next season, in fact they seem to have a low chance of winning the Premier League title.
In the Champions League, Arsenal would play as a normal team, winning only a few games before being eliminated. The premier league matches, however, are where their focus and strength would be on to demonstrate that they can win the premier league this coming season after losing to Manchester City last season.

Arsenal is still assembling the team into a formidable one, as we all know, and has not yet attained the status necessary to win the Champions League. They will eventually accomplish that, but it will take them a long year to get the chance to lift the champions league trophy. For this season and the upper one, they are going to place more of an emphasis on the premier league than the champions league.

Arsenal are going to be one of the new teams around here after a long break. I'm curious about their performance especially. Because they had a really amazing season in the English Premier League. Maybe they missed a big chance to become even the champions but they still had an incredible run. Now Arteta will be expected to have the same performance with the team in the Champions League as well. However this is technically a much more difficult task for him of course.

Because they are a really young team and the new team leader is going to be Odegaard after Xhaka's departure. I wonder how being a very young team will affect their consistency especially.

A fun fact is that Arsenal London, although they have been one of the European superpowers, never won the Europe League and never won the Champions League. They will bring some really needed new action into the competition. They have been quite weak for a few years and never really were a serious contender during that time, but now they are on a good way to find back their confidence and strength to also compete with the best teams in Europe. I am looking forward to the draw for the group stage. They can already face a top team early on as they finished 2nd in the league.

Arteta has done so much work for arsenal by bringing young players for next season and this will definitely improve arsenal without no doubt but I'm not so sure if arsenal will have that energy to win the Champions league. Arsenal failed to win Premier league last season and the main target for arsenal next season should be  winning Premier league,  it won't be easy for arsenal to be fighting for Premier league and champions league because the team is just coming up, it will be better they go after one trophy.
If you already admit Mikel Arteta has a huge contribution to Arsenal why do you doubt him for next season?
I am a big Arsenal fan, have always believed what Mikel Arteta is planning for next season, will get Arsenal want, namely the champions league trophy, even though it failed last season, but failure cannot be a barrier for this club to continue failing in the champions league, and I am sure that Arteta will always have good plans for next season and I heard rumors that Arteta has started to be active in the transfer market targeting several players from Napoli and this proof that the Arsenal coach seriousness in bringing the club to get trophies is very convincing and even though they have to fail in the champions league they can't get a title in premier league next season and compete with manchstr city
I so much believe in arsenal and the new players they brought to strengthen the squad more knowing that their will be good improvement but looking how the Champions league game will be it will be difficult for arsenal to win champions league.  Their are strong teams that will be  participating in Premier league and other leagues. I believe arsenal will have a good game in champions league but can't win the league. Manchester City are still the favorite team to win champions league next season.

I think the absence of Arsenal in joining UCL for a long time, won't have any impact on their performance.
It will do have impact on their performance. It is very rarely to see a club get success in their first season return to Champions League. It is some barely seen successful comebacks from some clubs but usually they will struggle with their first one or two seasons there.

Napoli, Inter Milan, AC Milan failed to go through Champions League group stage before they gained bigger success in later seasons. If you want to find a club from Premier League, it's Manchester United and Manchester City. Manchester City needed many seasons to slowly improve their performances in Champions League.

Quote
It is all about the players' mentality and ability, Arsenal seems not ready for this. They have many skillful players, they are young and very convincingly. But they have no experience in UCL, they have no mentality to maintain good performance till they reach the final round. TBH, I expect much on Arsenal but not sure they will reach the final. I still believe Man City, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, or Inter Milan which have the chance to reach the final. Commonly, the teams which have good experience in UCL that can compete for the title in the final round.
They have skillful and strong mental players but they surely lack of experience in Champions League. It will impact their performance when facing with biggest clubs from different European countries and leagues. Playing in Champions League means Arsenal players will have to play with many different tactics from different clubs and leagues. It is very different from playing with clubs from Premier League that somewhat have a common philosophy.

Arsenal can go to a first knock-out phase but it's hard for them to go farther.

Next season I won't get Arsenal as one of the strongest candidates in the Champions League, but they deserve to be among the ones that will compete for tickets to the final. Regardless of how long Arsenal have been absent from the Champions League, I think Arsenal can be expected to be one of the teams that will provide great competition next season.

I agree Arsenal can't be said to have a winning mentality yet, but things can change quickly if Arteta is able to increase the confidence of his players over time. Manchester United, Newcastle, Arsenal and Manchester City will represent the Premier League in the Champions League, but only two of the four above seem likely to qualify for the quarter-finals.

In the second leg of the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, Galatasaray will play Zalgiris Vilnius. Galatasaray drew the first match 2-2. Galatasaray's starting XI against Zalgiris Vilnius: Muslera, Angelino, Abdülkerim, Nelsson, Boey, Berkan, Oliveira, Kerem, Barış Alper, Mertens, Halil Dervişoğlu. Zalgiris Vilnius's starting XI against Galatasaray: Gertmonas, Pavelic, Hnid, Vucur, Bopesu, Buff, Gorobsov, Kendysh, Mamic, Golubickas, Oyewusi.

I think Galatasaray will win this match at home. A contrary result would be a big disappointment for Galatasaray fans. Also a major economic collapse.

Galatasaray did not have a good performance tonight. Galatasaray barely managed to beat its opponent. Galatasaray won 1-0 with a perfect goal by Mertens. It reminded me of the goal scored by Hakan Ünsal years ago. Galatarasaray will face Olimpija Ljublana in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.

Arsenal's team is very strong. And the important thing is that due to the good understanding between the team players, their performance is quite stable. However, I still think this team is not the favourite for the Champions League title.

I watched Arsenal's friendly match against Barcelona. Arsenal won the match 5-3. However, several weaknesses within Arsenal's squad were clearly visible. Barcelona players did not attack much. They still managed to score three goals. If Arsenal wants to maintain continuity in the Champions League, then their defence must be strengthened. Moreover, it is very difficult to consistently perform well in two competitive leagues, Premier League and Champions League.

I wouldn’t use the preseason match to judge because it was a different players that played both halves and also it’s Barcelona started with their best squad. When you mentioned that it is hard to win both champions and the league I wanted to accept but just last season Manchester City won a treble. What I would simply just say is that for a team to win that you need a big squad filled with players of great fighting spirits and Charisma. It is not about the squad been filled with youngsters and that means they can’t do. Manchester United won the 1999 treble with academy graduates. So the zeal is what will drive and it seems lacking at the current Arsenal.

Having Emirate cup is another confirmination that Arsenal is ready to battle in the Champions League but at what expenses did that cost Arsenal. Today, I observed that Gabriel jesus was absent even on the bench, till I later realised that he has a knee injury from their last match with Barcelona, it is not a good signed from Gabriel but Nketiah did a good justice by equalizing the goal for Arsenal which made them draw until the last minute of the match before they proceeded to penalty and Arsenal as become 7th time Emirate cup winners.

It will exhusting for Arteta for the continue injury of Jesus, had it been Nketiah was not on ground, it will be a heavy task for Arsenal to play well just that I think its when Gabriel Jesus is not around Arteta use Nketiah and he never failed to disappoint. If Jesus career is going to continues in this dimension, the earliar they sell him for any club that want him so they can invest the money on another striker, they have  now qualified for the Champions league which means there is more work to be done unlike when they use to play only the Premier league.
Of course, Arsenal should be quite ready for any competition next season regardless of their success or failure to win the Emirates Cup. I don't think it's a title that was really expected, but still winning the Emirates title is something special for a player.

Arsenal will fight hard in the Premier League and Champions League next season. Arteta is ready to do everything to prepare the quality of his team well, but regarding mentality, I think I have to agree that Arsenal are still not fully expected to win the Premier League and Champions League titles next season. I believe Manchester City to be the best contestants of the Premier League, but Arsenal also have a chance to qualify for a higher stage than just the group stage.

Of course that's hard to say in advance. I mean do the young players from the Arsenal squad have the mentality of winning in the Champions league. The champions league match is a fairly important match that they must focus on next season because if they waste the opportunity then Arsenal will find it difficult to go far in the Champions league.

Even Arsenal have been absent for a long time in the champions league so this season is the most beautiful season for them to show their strength that they have built from the previous season. The arsenal squad is almost an average of young players and they are not experienced enough to play in the champions league, therefore they must be able to work hard in every match they will play. We will wait for the group phase draw which will be held at the end of August.

Psg is in the process of acquiring a new player from various clubs, including Dembele from Barcelona. If Dembele joins the team, I think the team's performance will be excellent, but due to another rumour I've heard, Barcelona wants to trade Dembele and Rafhina for mbappe, and the Paris Saint-Germain wants to purchase only Dembele because mbappe wanted to play for Real Madrid. To prevent another issue from the team, I believe PSG needs to resolve everything before the start of the Champions League. This is because the current problem with the Mbappe to another team has turned into another one for the team.

You just stated that Mbappe prefers to join Real Madrid over Barcelona, therefore the swap deal they're proposing won't work. PSG, in my opinion, needs money now, not a swap deal that may or may not be profitable in the future, such as what they will get by selling Mbappe now. When Al-Hilal presented the bid for Mbappe to PSG, they promptly welcomed the deal, but Mbappe refused to allow the deal to go through since he is not interested in playing in the Saudi professional league. Dembele's arrival to the team will benefit the squad even when Mbappe departs this summer.

Xavi must apply his domestic league teachings to the Champions League. In La Liga, Busquets and De Jong functioned well as a center, suggesting they may do the same in the Champions League. The summer transfer window brought in new players to strengthen the club and possibly aid Barcelona in the Champions League. With all these factors in mind, it's hard to determine when Barcelona will challenge for the crown. That appears to be in doubt.

If they've gone this far to strengthen the squad this summer, I have no doubt that they'll be able to compete for the Champions League title this season. They performed excellently in La Liga last season, and if they can bring that performance into the Champions League next season, I feel they will go far and might be a title contender for the next season's champions league. Xavi is an excellent coach, and he will do even better in the coming season.

If I'm not mistaken, when Thierry Henry joined Arsenal at such a young age. but at that time, each line was flanked by established players who also had very deep depth. at that time, Arsenal were not dominated by a young squad. but after that, Arsenal changed its philosophy which was more dominated by young players. that is why, the coach is nicknamed professor Arsene Wengger. and until now, his legacy, is still being carried on by several coaches after him.

Now in Arteta's era, Arsenal's performance is starting to look much more prominent.
Arsene Wenger never even hesitated to praise Arteta. with the depth of the squad currently owned by Arsenal, Arsenal should be able to compete with other big teams. because, this team is now much more competitive. plus, the coach has a unique system that always shows interesting football.
As a Gunners supporter, I just want to be realistic. we don't expect much, if they have to win a trophy in this competition. it's just that, I want to see how far the team's mentality is formed by competing in the most prestigious league events. well, Arteta's task is to build the mentality of his team to make it more solid and sturdy. thus, they can show the best of what they have.

Xavi has prepared the team to bring Barcelona to compete with other big clubs from different leagues, this time the toughest competition will come from the premier league team, Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United are the three teams that will give their best performances to survive in this competition. Newcastle also cannot be underestimated, Newcastle's performance last season was very good, they managed to outperform other teams such as Liverpool and Tottenham to secure a ticket to the Champions League.
Barcelona appeared in the UCL this season as the La Liga champions, they must perform optimally in order to maintain the chances of achieving their goal of winning the Champions League this season.

The only thing that should please the fans of Barcelona is that they are in the first pot and, firstly, they will receive a couple of weak opponents (with a high probability) and, secondly, they will not play in the group stage with Bayern  Grin Otherwise, nothing has changed and not only English clubs will be a great danger to Barcelona - in fact even average teams will have a chance to knock it out.

But it is still doubtful if they can show the same performance in the Champions League as well. It has been a while since they joined this tournament the last time.

But if we see consistency in the Champions League as well they can at least be good enough to get past group stage. It is up to having a good draw as well of course.

Their first meeting ended in a draw, and Zalgiris managed to score two goals, which shows that Galatasaray has problems. I also think that they should have no problems at home today, but judging by the first match it could be any result. If Zalgiris can score again, the hosts will have to attack more to score and give opportunities for counterattacks.
The next game gonna be difficult for zalgiris. It's caused by the club was almost losing playing on its home. Galatasaray gonna host the second leg, which was also putting zalgiris in a very difficult situation. I hope that icardi will be able to play against zalgiris.
Im sure galatasaray will be able to win easily against zalgiris. Galatasaray just needs to learn from the mistake in the first leg, especially for the defensive line. It's caused by zalgiris was making its last-minute goal due to the mistake being made by galatasaray's defender.

Galtasaray may be able to win against zalgiris with cleansheet. I have no doubt about by galatasaray will be also boosting its morality by playing at home. It will be a shame if galatasaray will be losing against zalgiris at home.
I think this game is easy to predict which club that's gonna win the game. Galatasaray gonna win the second leg without a tough game.
Galatasaray and Zalgiris may not have it easy either, judging by the way today's first games are going. On the one hand I agree with you that the first match was really difficult for Zalgiris, but they managed not to lose. On the other hand Galatasaray will play at home and they have more chances to win. But so far from today's games only Dinamo Zagreb were able to play confidently.
