Xavi certainly anticipated Barcelona failure last season, failing to qualify from the group stage is a failure that should not be repeated this season. Barcelona's strength has begun to increase with the arrival of several new players, the results achieved in El Clasico in friendly matches are progress that Barcelona has experienced.

I see that Barcelona is very solid, especially in defense, Barcelona's defenders play very disciplined in maintaining their respective positions. Competition in the Champions League this season will not be easy for Barcelona, Xavi must be able to maintain Barcelona's quality so that they remain solid until the official matches begin.

Xavi will help Barcelona achieve what they hope for, but of course he will need time and a lot of support. Laporta has worked well so far and continues to support Xavi's plans, this will really help the team have a good squad and motivation when wading through the competition.

Next season Xavi will have to work even harder to fulfill the dreams and desires of all Barcelona fans, but I agree that the Champions League will never be easy to win. I believe Xavi came to improve the mentality of the team, but it will take several seasons for him to really be able to provide great competition in the Champions League.

I can say currently Manchester City is the only team we know they can have hope for the next Champions League title with Pep Guardiola because they are still in good form and they could stay stable and keep the main players they need for the next season. Also, Guardiola is improving the team and we can see even stronger Manchester City in the next Champions League season.

This credit you’re given to them can only be so because of their outstanding performance in the last season’s champions league competition. We don’t know how this upcoming season’s champions league is going to go well for them, but we can conclude now that they’ll go far and make it to the knockout stages. After that, their performance when the next season begins will determine how far they’ll go in the champions league or if they can still retain the title for the second time consecutively.

We can't talk about PSG yet unless we see a few games from this team in the French league and we pass some weeks because Enrique just started working there and he didn't even buy all the players he needs, that's why the teams in not complete yet and it's too soon to talk about PSG's performance in the next champions league.

The new coach will be preparing and finding better tactics that’ll make the team do well by next season. But we can’t say anything for now how strong they’ll be my next season’s champions league since it depends on how the coach can use the players well. They’ve been some players leaving the club without much replacement for them, it’s going to take another tactics to put the team back to shape again. Let’s see how they’ll play when the next season begins.

Not sure about Barcelona and PSG will be there until the final stage, especially about Barcelona which seems like Barcelona's performance will still not be much different from the results they got in the previous season too. But for Manchester City, of course I personally still believe Pep Guardiola still has a very good ability to make Manchester City go further. Also about Manchester United, although the chance to get the title is very low but at least Manchester United has a good chance to get to the quarter-finals, maybe.
Aren't we talking about possibilities, so what's wrong with having Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG and a few other teams as teams that will reach the final? Every Champion League participant has the opportunity to win a ticket to the final even though in fact they will have different opportunities. Barcelona have grown better since being coached by Xavi, so they shouldn't be underestimated even though in the last 2 seasons they couldn't qualify for the quarter-finals or higher.

Manchester City also have a possibility, but I believe they are a good team to be called the favorites next season. There are still several other teams worth considering, like Bayern Munich, Napoli, Inter and others.

In fact, PSG last season had star players in all positions and not just in the attacking position. But yes, it looks like PSG management might think that if they have a squad full of star players it can make it easier for them to win the Champion League title. But unfortunately, it seems like it is a wrong assumption because after all, even though they have a lot of star players but they also need time to build chemistry between players to get better. Moreover, when PSG has many star players but their coach is not used to leading a star squad, so PSG efforts still fail in the Champions League.
You may be right about PSG, I also see that as one of the reasons why PSG failed in the Champions League. PSG obviously have a good chance because they have a lot of star players, but the relationship between the players is not as expected. Messi is very uncomfortable at PSG, that's because he doesn't get as good support as he did when he was with Barcelona.

After all, PSG is not very good at several positions such as midfielder and also defense. PSG need creative midfielders who never give up and are highly experienced in the Champions League competition. While they have some midfielders like Marco Verratti, Vitinha, Fabián Ruiz, Carlos Soler, Danilo Pereira and Renato Sanches, but none of them have ever won the Champions League title in their career. So of course these midfielders don't have the good mentality to win the Champions League title.

We can't talk about PSG yet unless we see a few games from this team in the French league and we pass some weeks because Enrique just started working there and he didn't even buy all the players he needs, that's why the teams in not complete yet and it's too soon to talk about PSG's performance in the next champions league.

Current performance from Barcelona is not impressive in UEFA Champion League after failure in group stage last two season, I don't think with promising performance from Xavi Hernandez teams next season due will get bigger or competitive teams in group stage drawing. Still has possibility for Barcelona in the same group with Bayern Munich, its difficult for Barcelona qualifying in group stage after last season loss in home and away match against Bayern.

Although have been confidence performance as La Liga winner last season, seems not enough thing how diffiucult faced by Barcelona qualifying from group stage. PSG is not in my favorite teams list for winning UEFA Champion League next season, losing Lionel Messi and not clear yet with Mbappe future is strong reason PSG is the weakness teams in for winning UCL tittle.

Compared to teams like Real Madrid and Machester City, Barcelona got fewer investments and we can't expect to see them spending huge amounts of money and buying superstar players for the Champions League, but still, they have Xavi coaching the team and this can be an advantage for them. I think Barcelona can still have a chance to win the title in the next Champions League.

Barcelona has a good team for the upcoming season and a good one. I think they will go far in the champions league but i dont think they will be able to win it next to teams like Real Madrid and Man City. Barcelona cannot buy a lot of players due to their big debt and can only sign players for free.

Even in the last season because of the financial problems Barcelona had and they couldn't buy many expensive players, some people were thinking they won't be able to race for the title with Real Madrid in La Liga and they don't have a good coach like Ancelotti in their team while time after time they got better results and win the La Liga title I think if they improve themselves in the transfer window they can even race for the champions league title and they have high chance for it.

The chance was pretty small for barcelona to win UCL. All of premier league clubs were making massive improvements. Manchester city has also become even stronger than before. I remind you the result against arsenal. Arsenal is a strong team right now. Its level was still under manchester city but it's still also one of strongest team in EPL. The chance for la liga to win UCL is pretty small at this moment. EPL club may dominate the UCL competition. Barcelona needs to prove its quality in the group stage.
The last season has become floop for barcelona as the team was not only failed in the UCL. It was also failed in the europa league. Barcelona needs to prove it first. Im skeptical with barcelona's performance.

barcelona will be using some players from its own academic next season. These players need to get more experiences first. The next season gonna be very difficult for barcelona.
Agree with you that it is unlikely that Barcelona will win the Champions League trophy next season, but every prediction can be wrong as the season goes on. If setting parameters of the transfer market as a basis for assumptions to sort the favorite clubs to win the UCL next season, I think Barca will be included in it. Because currently Barca is ranked number seven in the sequence of clubs that have the most expensive squad in the world.

Barca is also trying to do the same as elite European clubs who are currently intensively improving their squad. However with a modest budget, Xavi cannot do much to recruit star-labeled players. Taking advantage of Barcelona reputation as a big club can provide an advantage in the pursuit of players with free transfer status, like Gundogan.

Barcelona is a good team. Because without being a good team, they would not have been able to actually win the La Liga title. But the quality is still not good enough to actually be the Champions League winner in my opinion. For Barcelona to be able to win the Champions League, it is going to take a lot more time. Right now Barcelona should still be concentrating on the La Liga title In my opinion. Because right now if Barcelona does concentrate on the Champions League, I think they are actually going to miss out on both the Champions League title and also the La Liga title. It is resolute in my conviction that Barcelona's concentration should gravitate towards the defense of their La Liga championship.

Anyway, Barcelona is certainly not winning the Champions League title this upcoming season.
Actually, we don't need to speculate too much about Barca because the quality of the players today is not what it used to be and we just need to be sure that at least Barca will be strong enough to face every match in LaLiga and be able to take first place in the standings is much more than enough.
Unless they have top players to count on in the champions league so we can speculate on this.
But we have to be pretty sure that Barça can get another cup besides the champions league and it quite simple that Xavi will come up with the best strategy for this season

Even with City, they had chances in the final, but still, I think that last season the main reason for Inter's success was convenient opponents. If they met someone serious they would have been destroyed in the earlier stages. If you look at their result in Serie A, we will see a very unstable game and a huge number of defeats.
As for this season, the bookmakers consider them the favorites, but Napoli is just a little behind.

Why is everyone talking about Barcelona at all? I don't see any chances of a CL win from them? In my opinion, there is currently no team in Europe that could compete with City in a direct duel. The transfer period is still running but City will dominate again next season. The old big clubs are currently all too weak for me (Bayern, Liverpool, Real, Barca, ...).

I can't say much about the next Champions League competition for now, but let's not underestimate any team that can't win the Champions League. It all depends on how determined the team is. In the year that Chelsea won their second Champions League, I believe that a lot of people said that Chelsea could not reach the quarterfinals, but in the end Chelsea got there and won the trophy. Looking at Barcelona, the current squad is not so weak that we should easily concluded that they can't win the Champions League. I believe Inter Milan got to last year's Champions League final because their squad is determined and work hard through it with lucky not that the team is better than Barcelona's or PSG's, but due to their determination, they were able to make it to the final.

I don’t really understand your point here but sometimes a team might have a bad performance in their domestic league and still perform wonderfully well in the champions league take inter milan last season’s performance as an example, they didn’t perform too well in serie A but suprised the world in the champions league. Some teams may perform well in the league but fail to perform in the champions league just like barcelona did last season.

Yes, I believe that many clubs struggle in their league, but excel when they compete in the Champions League. In numerous seasons, I have witnessed a lot of such incidents. Some teams will simply elect to concentrate on other tournaments, especially the Champions League, when they see they are weak in their local league. The same is true for other competitions. For instance, a team might win its domestic league despite performing poorly in other competitions.

Even though Xavi and Barcelona won the El Clasico match with a score of 3-0, I don't think it will be easy for them to advance at high speed in the Champions League. Barcelona have failed many seasons in the Champions League, they didn't even make it to the semi-finals in the last few seasons, that is definitely something that is not nice about them.
Xavi will try his best in the Champions League next season, that's for sure. But seeing as we don't know who Barcelona will face in the group stages, it's obviously a bit difficult to talk about their chances.

Barcelona won El Clasico and showed great dominance. They played very well no doubt. However, this does not prove that this squad is fit to perform consistently well in the Champions League. Because this team conceded 5 goals against Arsenal in the previous match. Barcelona lost the match 5-3.

The Barcelona team is strong enough. But there are still many problems in this group. But Barcelona's players have proven they have what it takes. Barcelona's midfield and attack are strong. However, if you want to do well in the Champions League, Barcelona's defense must be strengthened. Otherwise, Barcelona will not be able to do well against teams like Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Arsenal.

I always thought that Xavi would be a good coach, he is doing a wonderful job so far and I feel like they are going to have a big test on their hands this season as well. Look at how great they played, but also remember how many times Madrid players just found the wood, they could have scored a lot more, it was just an unlucky day, but doesn't change that Barcelona found 3 goals, and they played with fire, they took it seriously as well.
Coach Xavi has achieved success within a few years of his coaching career. Winning La Liga is a remarkable achievement that most experienced coaches have not been able to achieve after so many years. But he has a greater task to achieve this season because he has to prove himself after the club has given him so many players and support. He should have to go beyond the league title and at least achieve a Champions League semifinal. The game was very entertaining with both sides playing good offensive football. The fans enjoyed the entire moments of the game and will never regret getting tickets for the game.

I feel like even though Real "might" be the better team, Barcelona could still end up with a win this season as well, they are just looking like something they care about a lot and they are going to play a lot more seriously, they will definitely do a lot better this season at UCL for sure.
Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, Ousmane Dembele, De Jong, Aurelien Tchouameni, etc were all impressive. But Barca was the lucky side to score those goals which Real Madrid wasted. It might be early to assume that Real Madrid has started missing Benzema but Real missed goals that Karim would have cheaply scored. It will not be a bad suggestion to get a real number nine before the transfer window will close. Mbappe or Osimhen would have done better.

Barcelona's performance in the Champions League can be improved by making some changes in the system Xavi has adopted as I said before. Because the classic tiki taka system started not to work in big matches especially. And this is just keeping them away from even qualifying from the group stage.

A top level team like Barcelona can't make do with getting stuck in this stage. We have even started to watch them in the Europa League which is really an alarming situation. Fans and the board will be much more expectant from their team this season.

Xavi has a big responsibility to deal with and we will see if he can. But I feel like he will be insistent on using the same system he uses in the La Liga this season as well.
I think it is difficult for Xavi to let go of the Tiki Taka philosophy, because this tactic brought him and Barca to glory a decade ago. Former Barca coach Ronald Koeman before Xavi criticized Barcelona playing style for maintaining this philosophy in the current period, and said Barca seemed to be living in the past.

But I think Xavi has his own analysis and tactics to bring his squad forward in every game, a proof that they won the La Liga trophy last season. It's true as you said, that Xavi has a tough task to build Barcelona glory back to the way it used to be.

IMO, when Xavi first became coach of Barcelona, the Barcelona tiki-taka that became his character was almost invisible. To be honest, I don't know what Xavi is planning. but what is clear, he has also changed the philosophy of Barcelona. I remember Lewandowski once saying that Barcelona's tiki-taka era has passed. he also said, they will play with a more modern system, Modern football. it's just that, I don't see anything special in Barcelona's game. what I mean is consistency.

It's true, Xavi was able to bring Barcelona to win two trophies last season. but if I have to be honest as a fan, their game is mostly beyond our expectations. I know that Xavi is rebuilding Barcelona. maybe that's why, he needed time to bring Barcelona to become a very solid team. plus, some of the players they brought in didn't play as they should. now, Barcelona should be more prepared. some newcomers should be able to bring Barca much more solid than the previous season. Busquets leaving, it doesn't matter because they have Gundogan who has experience, has a winning mentality and is also a smart player. several other entrants, could become second line players. at least, theoretically Barcelona should be more ideal than last season and be able to compete in this competition at an equal level with other competitors.

Barcelona are possibly improving in all areas they could, it's a good development for the players and the coach. They have been really serious in the last two seasons, and if they continue to keep the team competitive like this, one day they would see themselves lifting the UEFA Champions League trophy and a beautiful smiles on their faces. Perhaps there's always good results for those that are hardworking, Xavi Hernandez doing what he does best, fixing the club again and rebuilding new players to rapidly adapts to the club's pattern of game.
It's been 7 seasons that Barcelona haven't won the Champions League title again and maybe indeed a few seasons ago could be a strong reason for them to carry out a transition period so they can get closer to winning the Champions League title later. I think what Xavi has done as a coach is quite good even though the previous two seasons he still got a red report card because he failed in the Champions League and went down to the European league. They have to start again in the champions league next season and make sure they can qualify for a higher stage than before. If Barcelona can qualify for the semifinals next season, I think it can be a good achievement so that next season they can be closer to the championship ladder.

Inter's last season performance here reminded me of Chelsea's amazing run for the Champions League title in the 2020/21 season. Inter were also so close to repeating a similar success to that but they missed it slightly. We don't see defensive-oriented teams winning this title very often as you now.

This is why it becomes quite unexpected to see teams like Chelsea becoming the champions here. Maybe it happens rarely nowadays but it feels still nice to see some different things as well. Seeing different champions make this tournament even more attracting to me.

Second leg of the second qualifying round will be played this Tuesday and Wednesday. A draw or 1-2 goals difference in most matches of the first leg will make most teams uncomfortable a part Dinamo Zagreb and Aris Limassol which have 4 goals advantage.

Xavi needs time to make Barcelona play what he expects, it doesn't matter that they failed in the UCL last season but they can focus on winning the league last season, that's why Xavi has stayed and believes that he can make Barcelona become the club that is expected like the golden age Back when he was playing at Barcelona, I thought this was the right time to show the increasingly solid quality of playing Barcelona.

Just look at them successfully beating Madrid even though this is a pre-season match, of course it will be a self-evaluation so that they can set a strategy before the Spanish league event takes place, Madrid must also find a replacement for Benzema soon so that Madrid can make Madrid's attack even sharper in the future considering they have bought several young players and still haven't found a solid style of play because it takes time for them to adapt to other players. many expect Madrid to win the UCL again but it will take time for them to find their game.

The last session of the Barcelona game was not good one,now the game of Barcelona was improved a lot.Xavi had add some good players to the team from his influence and made the team very strong now.So the Barcelona became a not stoppable team for now.Other team should ready to face the big team like Barcelona now.
Barcelona performed very poorly in the Champions League last season but also proved to be the best in La Liga. I believe Xavi will try his best to produce a great Champions League performance this season. Also, I saw some great changes in the El Clasico, Barcelona team is very good.

Barcelona's performance has been very visible in the last 2 seasons, since being coached by Xavi they have made a lot of progress and it continues to go in a positive direction and that has been seen since the middle of last season, and there have been some shortcomings they have tried to cover for transfers this summer, Barcelona is very active to improve.
And thus making many people believe that Barcelona's performance next season will be much better than last season, and personally I see the quality of Barcelona at this time it looks like they are ready to compete more tightly with Europe's top teams.

The performance of the Barcelona after the Xavi become his coach was awesome. The game of Barcelona after 2021 was good after the Old player and coach Xavi.Xavi had teach the team his fast passing techniques, because they were unique coach for the passing the Xavi the great. After some bad game,Barcelona itself ready to improve their game. The Barcelona Club owner had made unique move by employing the Xavi as the Manager.Barcelona will show their maximum improvement in the upcoming coming session.
