Lewandowski is a prolific striker at Barcelona as well. However we haven't been able to see enough level of contribution by him in big matches of the Champions League. It was like he was a more different striker than his La Liga performance. He wasn't having issues against weaker opponents in the Champions League. But he was a failure when it comes to facing teams like Bayern Munich in the group stage. He will need to concentrate more on that kind of matches from now on as those ones are critical for making it to beyond the group stage.
Your thinking makes me feel that Lewandowski is carrying Barcelona on his shoulders and is fully responsible for any result Barcelona get as a team. He is a single player and even a prolific striker, he does not represent Barcelona as a team. A player is not a team and if Barcelona want to win big clubs in Champions League, in Europe, they must win it as a team. They must become a stronger team to achieve it and Lewandowski can not help them only by himself.

I also think that Ilkay Gündogan is a great transfer of FC Barcelona. He does not cost any transfer fee and i am also quite sure that his salary demands are very reasonable in comparison to those of Lionel Messi for example and everyone knows that Barca is in a very bad situation financially.
Also i think we should not underestimate Gündogan as a player. He was the captain of the best football team in the world in the last few years. This alone teils a lot.
It is unfair to say Gundogan joined Barcelona because he requires less salary than Messi. We don't know what are conversations between Messi and Barcelona and why they did not sign with Messi as a free player. From Messi words, he said Barcelona never officially contacted him to bring him back to Barcelona. With bad history of Barcelona and their treatment style on their players, I believe in Messi.

Gundogan can be a good midfielder for Barcelona to replace Busquet because he is familiar with tiki taka at Manchester City. It is not a classic tiki taka in Manchester City but the style is similar and he will not need too much time to adapt to the tactics used by Xavi in Barcelona.

Robert Lewandowski has proven to be a worthy striker for the blaugrana, and he has no trouble becoming acquainted with new players. These new players will improve the club's performance and their own for the coming season. Xavi has a bright vision for success at Camp Nou, and he's not far from fulfilling it. It is now time for Xavi Hernandez to establish a club where he will not be disappointed to confront his opponents in the Champions League next season, and to strengthen vulnerabilities in preparation for the future difficulties. IIkay Gundogan is a fantastic signing who will make significant contributions to the team.

Barcelona actually need to try new things in the Champions League from now on. The strategies don't work good enough as we have seen for two seasons here.

Ilkay Gündoga is a good investment even tbough he is old, better than Messi they were trying to push back to the club that will end up been sold because of their financial status. Still better than nothing bringing anything at all, they already have good young players in the club to help struggle for the leagues they all qualified for, what they need now is to strike a balance between the squad that will be starting and the ones that will be bench, it's very necessary to help ease pressure in matches and I hope Real Madrid doesn't end up buying Haaland though, it will be the end for Barcelona in Spain but I have doubt if Manchester City are ready for that discussion.

just my speculation.
If you look at the performance of several top players, it seems that Mbappe is worthy of replacing Benzema. even Mbappe is younger than Benzema, Mbappe's talent is almost the same as Benzema.
on the other hand Mbappe has dreams of being able to compete and get a trophy in the champions league and one of these opportunities is by accepting an offer from Real Madrid.
It must be admitted that Mbappe is a star player and very talented who has never tasted a champion's league title. Maybe his desire began to be provoked after knowing that Haaland had won the trophy with Manchester City. We know Real Madrid will never get tired of making sure Mbappe wants to join the Santiago Bernabeu and if you see the opportunity now it is certainly very wide open for Mbappe because he will fully get regular minutes after Benzema's departure. Now we can only wait for this realization to work out next year which will also be Mbappe's last season with PSG and after that maybe we will see Mbappe excited to come to Real Madrid to be able to win the champions league title.
If Mbappe manages to get into the Madrid squad, of course it will be even better because he can replace Benzema there, at least Madrid will be a respected club if he adds Mbappe next season, especially since there is a lot of tough competition both in the league and in the UCL later, of course Madrid need a replacement for Benzema who can lead Madrid to win the UCL again next season or win the league championship and other European championships.

I only know that Mbappe is still at PSG spending the remaining time with PSG to finish his contract, that's why Madrid supporters hope that Mbappe can become a substitute for Benzema at Madrid to win the UCL title again next season, as we also know that Mbappe has not tasted the UCL while with PSG. maybe with madrid he can get the title even though we know Manchester city will be his toughest competitor.  Cheesy

Ok now we have an answer to that question. I thought Gudogan would also try to stay at Manchester City because for him personally Barcelona isn't the next step in his career, but it is something new. Maybe that is what he wanted or maybe Manchester City didn't offer him what he wanted. Barcelona still doesn't look very strong to me. They can compete for the La Liga title, but in the Champions League there is still something missing in my opinion. At least Gundogan can become the boss in midfield and contribute with his control and passing. It is not a bad transfer for Barcelona, but let's see whether it was a bad transfer for Gundogan after the first season.
The latest news confirms that Gundogan has officially joined Barcelona on a two-year contract until June 2025, as seen in the recent post by Gundogan's agent, Fabrizio Romano, on Twitter. This puts an end to the rumors regarding his future destination after failing to reach a contract extension agreement with Manchester City.

It seems that Barcelona has acquired the right player to fill the void left by Busquets, who is reportedly set to join Inter Miami. With the guidance of Xavi, whom Gundogan admires, I am eagerly anticipating his performances at Barcelona in the upcoming season.

Busquets is leaving and it is right what you say, Gundogan is the player who can fill that void optimally. Up to a certain point they are very similar players I think. In regards to setting the speed and the rhythm of the game and also being strong in both defense and offensive play. Busquets was also one of those players who haven't been shining on the pitch for the whole game but who did a lot of work without getting noticed too much. Gundogan is the same although he made a lot of goals, which didn't happen that often for Busquets. Gundogan was a good decision for Barcelona.

Madrid has found joselu and i think the speculation regarding mbappe and real madrid must be continued next year after mbappe will be leaving from the PSG with free agent. I think that it will make sense if we are waiting for next year to see mbappe goes to the real madrid. Im not sure one hundred percent if mbappe will be going to the madrid but let's wait what's gonna happen with him after he will be leaving from PSG. So many teams may try to attract him. I think that if this gonna be another difficult situation for him to determine which club that will able to sign him as a new player with very cheap price as there's no need to pay the release clause due to the free agent status. Joselu is also worthy enough to replace benzema at this moment.

He has made 16 goals last season which is very good consider he was playing in espanyol.

He has so many experiences competing in domestic league or UCL but other players of barcelona have no lots of experience like him. Lewandowski has become top scorer last season while at the same time the club was also winning la liga.
The gundogan transfer from manchester city will be boosting the performance from barcelona. I wonder whether gundogan transfer will be giving great impact to the performance from club in UCL or not.
As you can see, that barcelona was losing in both UCL and europa league which makes me feel doubt if it can compete with another club in UCL next season.
Gundogan is a good transfer for barcelona but im not sure whether he will able to adapt with the club easily or not. Im thinking about may not fit to the club.

Yes, after all, when Benzema came to Real Madrid, Benzema did not quickly have a very good performance like now. Therefore, with time, of course, Real Madrid will have players who can become team legends as well. So, losing Benzema is basically not all that big of a problem for the team, indeed for the near future at least his absence can have a little influence on the team's performance. But of course, this will not last long, because Real Madrid will also try to have other great players and of course to support their performance in the Champions League as well.
Madrid earned their points and merited every trophy they have won in their history and currently. Real Madrid is a premier club with plenty of room for growth and an effective strategy for the future; they don't hesitate to add players if the situation demands it. Karim Benzema is one of Real Madrid's best strikers, however it took him a long time to be recognized and given the Ballon d'Or. His absence from the Los Blancos squad will not have a long-term impact on the club; but, as time passes, things will return to normal and the Los Blancos will be stronger than before.

Real Madrid need a quality striker. Karim Benzema created an important gap that Benzema has been filling for more than 10 years. Many strikers came and went and Benzema remained and continued to score goals. Now that he's gone, Real Madrid need an important striker. If they succeed in this, we can follow the old strong Real Madrid for many years.

Benzema had a good performance and he scored many goals for his team, Real Madrid. Karim Benzema achieved many titles with Real Madrid but any player should get retired one day and Benzema had to choose the Arabian teams to earn more money at the end of his career.
On the other hand, Real Madrid should start seeking a young and talented player to fill his position.

For sure. Real Madrid needed a quality striker that will fill in the gap of Benzema. Benzema can't be sold without Real Madrid making an effort to find a good replacement. I believe Real Madrid has everything in control. They have the resources to sign any classic player of their choice if they want to. By the way, only a single player absent from a team, can't be the end of the club.

Benzema's absence from Real Madrid can't deem their football light from winning matches in Laliga and the champions league

Real Madrid will not get Karim Benzema next season but the club acknowledge that he is one of the best legends of the moment. Football fans have enjoyed his game so much by which he has been able to establish him in the names of their greatest icon players. So finding someone new to replace him will not be an easy for the selectors.
Karim Benzema's absence may not affect the team much as Real Madrid have a good combination in the squad to fill that gap. One of Real Madrid's strengths is that they can find talented players. At the moment, Real Madrid has a number of young talented players along with some experienced players who score at difficult moments of the match and contribute a lot to the team's victory. The current team will be well ahead of the next season's Champions League trophy.

When a new player joins Real Madrid, it must be understood that the player is undoubtedly a very talented player because Real Madrid always values talented players. And whichever player joins Real Madrid, the player's career will go to another stage. Just like Karim Benzema was not the current Karim Benzema when Casemiro joined Real Madrid but Casemiro was not the current Casemiro he was made and Real Madrid made him. That means Real Madrid can produce players. If a player has talent, Real Madrid will surely make him a skilled player. I believe all the budding young stars currently performing at Real Madrid will one day become the best stars in the world.
Every team tries to get one of the best players in the team but the strategy of selecting players is different from team to team and each team selects different categories of players. In this case, Real Madrid selects players in their own strategy.  And in keeping with the rest of their players, they recruit players of the same category and train them to form a strong team. That is why Real Madrid is always a good team and enjoys most of the match with winning
I don't think that this is true. Real Madrid don't recruit and train players. Instead Real Madrid buys made players i.e players that are outstanding. If you are not a superstar forget it,you will never play in Real Madrid. All players that was bought by Real Madrid has already made names before Madrid bought them. For example,Madrid is going for Mbappe who has already made his future very bright and is among the world classic players. We saw how Mabppe performance was superb in the world cup finals. A player might come to Real Madrid for the first time and might not perform well, doesn't mean that he is not a good player. The problem is that he might have not understood Madrid game pattern but the moment he understands then he will perform brilliantly.
Mbappe's deal with Real Madrid is at the center of the transfer market talks at the moment. But what will Mbappe's jersey number be if he joins Real Madrid? Because from next season, Real Madrid is bringing some changes in their jersey numbers. Cristiano Ronaldo's jersey number has been given to Venicius Jr. That is, from the next season, Venicius Jr. will wear jersey number 7 and enter the field. Meanwhile Mbappe's preferred jersey number is 7. And for Real Madrid, Luca Madris wears the number 10 jersey. The number 9 jersey has not yet been given to anyone officially, so what could be the jersey number for Mbappe?

Not too old, Gundogan 32 years old and I'm sure he still has a pretty strong physique and can be sure he will be able to play for the next 4 seasons. Now this signing is quite impressive Xavi has done because he really has the soul of building a club because he is able to get star players, with his experience which is quite impressive, of course it will really help Xavi in the next season, especially in the Champions League.

Lewandowski, Gundogan and several other players can say that Barcelona will be stronger next season. I think xavi will bring in some other players in this transfer window, they will make significant changes to improve on their weaknesses last season in the champions league.

This Barcelona we see is pretty much far from Barcelona in the last years because they don't have any financial stability and they can't hire the players they really need. Instead, Barcelona can only old players like Gudogan for their team, this way they can pay less money and this Barcelona cannot have much hope even for the champions league because simply they don't have enough money to invest in it like other teams do in Manchester City and Real Madrid.

The Champions League always gives surprises in every season, even now we have seen a row of team names from several respective leagues that will play in the Champions League next season. From the English League there is Manchester city as the defending champion and Arsenal, manchester united and Newcastle united who have been absent from this highest competition for a long time. I think the competition will be more interesting to see the list of teams that will compete in the Champions League next season. Especially Newcastle united they performed quite impressive in the EPL this season where they were able to get rid of big teams to disturb them like Liverpool and Chelsea.  Now, the presence of Newcastle United in the Champions League next season is also believed to make the Champions League even more interesting. Because if Newcastle United is able to maintain the trend of moving forward in every round, chances are that it will be quite difficult for us to predict which team will win the UCL trophy next season. From representatives of Laliga There is Real Madrid which they are highly favored for next season because Real Madrid did a great job in this season transfer window by bringing in some good quality players.
Well, I think it's too early for Newcastle to take a swing at such a tournament as the Champions League, but the progress that the team has shown in recent years is impressive. In the Champions League, it is quite possible to demonstrate a super result at some particular stage of the tournament, but you still need to have a certain class and skill to become the winner of the tournament in the end. Of course, Real Madrid is initially the favorite of any Champions League draw in every year, at least by virtue of its status, but still it is impossible not to recall that the last time they won the Champions League, it was done against all odds, because in terms of strength and power of the squad, Real Madrid was inferior to all its rivals in the playoff.

This puts an end to the rumors regarding his future destination after failing to reach a contract extension agreement with Manchester City.
A bit surprised to see that gundogan was accepting barcelona's offer instead of staying even longer in the manchester city caused by it has so many problems that already occured.
IMO, if gundogan must have been staying even longer in manchester city rather than going to the barcelona but since he has been determining his choice and ther's nothing can be done about that. good luck for gundogan caused by he was going to the barcelona.
Gundogan had a good season  with Manchester City team and part of the squad when manchester City not only won the premier league, they went ahead to win the FA cup and the prestigious champions league.
That's some good enough trophy with the team and coach Pep Guardiola. As such, he isn't leaving as a failure but instead, a captain that has had some good season and made history with the Manchester City team.
Gundogan having to try other leagues is a good choice and even better still, a good team like Barcelona for a destination.
He's styleod play suites the team and would adapt in no time to deliver some of his qualities for Barcelona.

No one has won the Champions League more times in recent years than Real.
Unlike most clubs that play in the Champions League with the desire to achieve the best possible result, for Real players anything but winning the Champions League is a failure and that is the main difference between Real and other clubs in the Champions League.
Real has a winning mentality and self-confidence that other clubs in Europe do not have in European competitions.
Real will have a very strong team in the Champions League next season, the defense is almost the same, Bellingham is coming to the midfield, another quality striker Joselu has arrived, and Vinicius and Rodrygo are also great strikers.
Even after Ronaldo's departure, it was said that Real would not be able to find a replacement for him, but it turned out not to be the case.

Ronaldo may have left Real Madrid, but he is still the best thing that has ever happened to the club. I'm not dismissing the performances of other great players, such as Vinicius and Rodrygo, who are currently their finest players, but their work rate performances cannot be compared to Cristiano Ronaldo's. He has done a lot for the club, particularly in European competitions.

I'm not sure how long it will take someone at Real Madrid to beat his record. That zeal they developed as a squad during his time at Real Madrid is what keeps them going today with such confidence. That is one of the factors that has kept Real Madrid flying high in the Champions League despite the intense competition in the league.

The beauty about the UEFA Champions League is that it doesnt matter where a team is from or if it low rank or not financially rich. There will be lots of upsets and lots of drama too. Meanwhile the play offs path will commence next week tuesday (JUNE 27,2023).
This is indeed not wrong, because ranking in the domestic league does not always determine which team can do better in the Champions League even though most teams that won the Champions League are ranked well in their own domestic league. However, the Champions League always presents competition that is worth enjoying because there are many teams from different countries and if the play off schedule is very close, I would not miss that either because it is also enjoyable to watch.
