@JoyMarsha Barcelona are definitely going to do well in the La Liga but in the champions league I doubt that they’ll fare well because they lack the depth and quality of player’s to win the champions league. Furthermore to compete in the champions league they need to spend lots of money on new player’s but as we know with their financial difficulties it won’t happen hence I feel that they’ll crash out of the champions league at a pretty early stage.

Barcelona has all it takes to do well in the Champions league. Inter got to the champions league final, is Inter a better team than Barcelona, when you compare their players?
The players and managers matter, but it takes more than just a good squad to do well in Europe. If you want to succeed in Europe you have to know how to win games. Win games even in times when you don't play really well. It can't be every game that a team will play well. So if you're able to win your games in matches that you didn't play very well then you are safe. That is the edge Madrid has over other teams in that competition. Madrid can win games when they don't play well.

Next season will be good for Barcelona because they're rebuilding and and the process is going well. If they are not unlucky like they were last season with injuries and bad officiating they might do well.

Potential clubs don't mean benchmarks for champions because in this case we only talk about probabilities and when you look at big clubs, their probability is much higher so they are expected to continue to win doesn't mean there is a separate benchmark for big clubs to be champions because of course we know all the opportunities and everything is possible.
I don't deny that because it's true that from the several seasons that have always been held, it's the big clubs who take over but on the other hand we also can't rule out the fact that all possibilities in the competition can still happen regardless of whether it's a big or small club.

Basically, several of the strongest opponents are fighting for the cup, this is true, but the example of the last Champions League shows that everyone has a chance. If luck favors you and you get a favorable sortition, you might even make it to the final, as happened to Inter in this final. Did they have a chance to win in the final? Of course they were, they played quite well, but even a successful sortition does not guarantee victory, because despite their luck in the final, they would still have to play with one of the strongest.
If a club goes to the final only because of luck, I still don't agree because those who qualify for the Champions League final are because the club is strong and worthy.
Inter Milano has played very well this season so it's only natural that they will qualify for the final even though they have to lose to Manchester City because actually Manchester City for the season is in a state of the upper hand.
For next season's Champions League, we can't say for sure who is the strongest because there are still many clubs trying to strengthen their team by carrying out large-scale player transfers.

After 7 years finally Arsenal will return to champion league again and i am curious how far they can go in this competition because on season 2017 Arsenal still trained by their legendary manager Arsène Wenger and they were very impressive at group stage even at that time Arsenal can able to qualified with unbeatable status and being an group champion because finish at first place but round of 16 is compeletely messed up for them because their journey have to stopped because on that stage they were eliminate by Bayern Munich with aggregate 10-2

If i am not mistaken group drawing will be held at August 31 and Arsenal will into pot 2 with Manchester United, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Dortmund and Arsenal will potentially be in a group with a strong team like Barcelona, Bayern Munich or maybe PSG because these teams status has into pot 1 but Arteta seems very confident Arsenal will be qualified to the next round but he said the current squad still not enough to compete to champion league so that's why Arteta still attempts to gets several players this summer

they come back but we have to see how long they stay
my beloved Atalanta also went to the Champions League (and also achieved a good result) but then maintaining this quality both in Serie A and in the Champions League requires a considerable expenditure of energy and money
it's not trivial

I hope you have watch the Champions League final between Chelsea and Manchester City, the city dominated the whole match, but a mistake cost them to lose that cup because they didn't expect goal from Chelsea and that's how they lost the League cup to Chelsea. So what am I saying, Chelsea don't have much changes in their current squad and yet they win that important matches and Barcelona could win the Champions League if they are lucky as they have good players that are very talented and good with skills and new young players as well, expect good things to happen to Barcelon next season.

Chelsea didn't have a better squad than Manchester City back then yes. The reason how they managed to make it to the Champions League title anyway was Tuchel. He is such a great tactician that he knows how to deal with stronger teams despite not having a very impressive squad in his hand. His strategies worked against a dominant Manchester City even in the biggest finale of the season.

As for comparing Barcelona's current squad to Chelsea's in that time, I can also say that Barcelona have a bigger potential. It is all up to applying the right strategies. Xavi has been choosing the same strategies for two seasons which have blocked their way going beyond the group stage.

If we don't see some new things again then I doubt their capability to do better.

I think that's why Arsenal need to reshuffle their squad, hunting for new players to strengthen Arsenal in the next season, the fact is that many clubs are spending big in next season, that's why the competition will be even tougher, not only in the UCL matches but also in competition in domestic league, I'm sure Arsenal's failure to win the EPL last season at least they can play as much as possible in the UCL.

Arteta certainly wants to make Arsenal better next season because maybe he doesn't want to disappoint all Arsenal supporters who are disappointed because they played badly at the end of the season which made Arsenal only Runner Up in the EPL last season, especially since Arsenal will face many big and great clubs of course in UCL, it takes a lot of preparation including new players for Arsenal.

When all the teams are fighting each other to fight for the highest trophy of this European caste, sometimes there is indeed a team that unconsciously can go through an isolated round and make it to the final. I used to think that the last final that won was Inter, in my opinion it was not without reason because they were able to gradually beat the top teams to get to the final against Manchester City.

In the match it was enough to prove that Manchester City vs Inter was quite even and there were almost no goals at all for 90 minutes because after all Inter would also work hard to strengthen its defense from the onslaught of Manchester City's attacks. But unfortunately Inter had to come to a halt after Manchester City took advantage of a gap in the crowd for Rodri to score one goal that decided the victory. At least we can see that the two teams were equally strong in the final and luck was not on Inter's side this time.

Clubs that are considered to be favorites cannot be said that they will become champions, and small clubs that are considered only dark horse clubs have the opportunity to surprise, as in a football match.
The things that might factor into how we classify them as you said obviously are a consideration of what results we analyze about what will happen in the competition.
All clubs have a chance, it's just how many percent we will give them chances, like for example We will definitely give Manchester City big chances the same as we will give chances to weaker clubs, but the difference is how many points we will give to rate them.
But i think that those favorite clubs will always become most potential clubs to win UCL next season. As you can see, that manchester city was signing some world class players even though it has the greatest squad in the world, but pep keeps adding more and more players to the club.
Im thinking if manchester city gonna be the strongest candidate to win UCL again next season. My main concern if manchester city will be using the same squad as last season to face the upcoming season.
I hope that city will able to go to the final again. There will be so many surprises next season. Newcastle potentially has to be a black horse in the UCL next season.
Im very happy to see this club plays in UCL after waiting for a long time. The new investors gave new face for newcastle.

Gundogan is a well-appreciated and decorated player and Pep Guardiola always speaks highly of him. As a free agent from the end of this month, any club that buys him will surely enjoy the benefits but I do not see a year contract as the issue here.

He has performed admirably for Manchester City no doubt, and I agree with you that he still possesses the qualities of a good player despite his advanced age. However, I believe that living  Manchester City would be a kind of downgrade in my opinion, given how many players now consider the team to be their favorite with their performance these season. As for the salary issue, I don't take it seriously because if they weren't paying him well, he could have maintained his position for all these while, I only think maybe his contract has come to the end, and they are not willing to renew it for him to continue playing for them which is why I think they want to transfer him to another team.
However I just hope Gundogan will choose good team with well experience players, since I can see many teams are looking for him.

Pep said that caused by he knew that if the come of gundogan to the barcelona will be adding lots of power to the barcelona. Gundogan is now a sensational player. The fact that if pep has been also releasing the new statement he is wanna fighting against barcelona to keep gundogan in manchester city. The contract extension was already prepared by manchester city for him. I hope that if city will fulfil what gundogan wanted from the club. Barcelona sees him as a player that can push the club to be even better for the upcoming season since busquets has been leaving as free agent.
I hope he will always stay in manchester city yet gundogan has said if he is not yet deciding his future. I hope he will agree with the contract extension offered by city soon.
Pep really wants him to stay longer in the club.
I am not sure I am fully up to date, but I think that the problem is that Manchester City still doesn't want to give him two years but only one year and Gundogan does not agree with that. When Pep says that Gundogan would strengthen Barcelona and he would make that team better in reality it could also be a tactic to support Gudogan in signing a good contract elsewhere, namely Barcelona here. If Manchester City wants him I think there wouldn't be any hesitation to offer him the two years he wants. I don't know why they haven't done it yet.
Currently, nothing is sure about Gundogan because we have three teams which are fighting for him, and he is still not clear where to go first Barcelona then we have Arsenal and then Bayern Munich but who will be winner at the end we have to wait for the all updates with most chances Arsenal can steal this show because Barcelona is also having few other players as target which can replace Gudogan with Bayern Munich and Arsenal could be potential runner for this transfer.

Manchester City is looking for another season but 32 years old German star wants long deal which is possible in Arsenal because they are also having some trouble in last season and with the arrival of him they could be felt strong enough.

Relying too much on luck is an extremely risky tactic that rarely leads to the desired result. It is also difficult to get to the final of a tournament like the Champions League on luck alone. Personally, I can only think of Real Madrid with its victory in the last draw. But I would not write off Chelsea's victory as pure luck, yet the club itself made some efforts there and was not hopeless in the playoff games. Although yes, Manchester City was the undisputed favorite in the final, not Chelsea. You can't rely purely on luck, it must be backed up by something else.

That's what a lot of football fans don't get. Regardless of whether they signed quality players or not, if the previous season didn't benefit a team, next season may.
Football is a surprising sport. Anything is possible. When a team decides to play its best to win games, it is difficult for that team to not follow through (regardless of whether they are up against the best team in the world). Barcelona may choose to act in this manner in order to surprise everyone.  Who knows what will serve as their driving force in doing that?

Pep Guardiola is just protecting the future of the club, he is not a kind of coach that built for just two or three seasons their in charge. Pep Guardiola wants to bring in Young stars that is why he will not allow Manchester city to give Gundogan a two years contract, if he don't accept the one year, Pep Guardiola will open the door for him to exit. Gundogan has won everything for the club and captain,he has proven to be world class, every team will buy him, because his price has increased in the market after the champions league and the treble they won this year.
Manchester city has Gundogan replacement in the team already so he won't be a problem to pep Guardiola if he leaves.
He is a firm coach who can read the direction of progress for the team in the next season so that when he makes a decision, of course he has thought about things from the start. Well, indeed the offer submitted by Manchester City, which was only for 1 season, made Gundogan not too interested in signing a new proposal which made him included in the list of players whose contracts had ended as announced recently. So, I think that with the quality that Gundogan has, he will receive offers from many big clubs for his next career. For now i think barcelona is ahead to get gundogan. But secretly arsenal also has an interest in Gundogan.

For Pep Guardiola, he has a lot of players in stock for that position. I think Gundogan's departure will not be a burden for him. But every effort is still being made by pep guardiola to persuade Gundogan to stay with manchester city.

I love the incoming players they're not bad player's, they're also players who can keep up with the kind of game his playing, sad thing I'll see happen is seeing or watching Gundogan leave Manchester City.
And just as he said, if Barcelona successfully get him, he'll bring so much quality and numbers to the midfielder's and also assistant to the attackers.

Kovacic can not be the replacement for Gundogan, he's not even up to the task, most Chelsea fans that knows ball will rather prefer an exchnage between the players than just seeing such big assets leave for Barcelona. Another player most likely to leave is Bernado Silva who has been linked to PSG.

The nickname of the King of Europe is indeed not mere boasting. They have proven it by entering the final eight times since 1998, and eight times they have won. And until now, if Real Madrid had passed the semifinals and then entered the final, they would be the champions.
They are specialists in Champions League finals, so I don't want to argue with that. Real Madrid rarely fail to win the Champions League when they get to the final, but I think their era of dominance in the Champions League will end soon after Manchester City have broken the curse.

I think Real Madrid will not be as strong as before after they no longer have many golden players like Benzema and several other players. Indeed, they have a lot of quality players, but experienced players like Benzema, Modric, Kroos are the spirit of a good performance for Real Madrid. Madrid will realize that, so I think they will still miss the Champions League final in the next few seasons unless they play very badly against Madrid in the Champions League.

Luckily this season Man City can defeat Real Madrid in the semifinals, otherwise Real Madrid will definitely win the 15th UCL trophy.
Manchester City didn't make it by luck, but they have proven themselves better than Real Madrid by the form of it. Madrid played badly, even worse when they played the second leg of the semi-final at the Etihad Stadium.

There is hope for Real Madrid to maintain that consistent winning of champions league title from next season, because their management are trying their possible best to bring in talented players that can make the team function well again like the 14 time they won the champion league title. Based on the potential players the management is planning to sign into the team this summer will really bring positive change that will make the players shine in any competition to maintain highest points through out the tournament. I don't think, Real Madrid will allow any team to take the title from them than to apply all the strategies that will make them champions at the end of the tournament.
The 4-0 defeat in the second leg of the UCL semi-final last season was a very embarrassing blow for Real Madrid, they have always been the favorites in this competition but Manchester City threw mud at Real Madrid face. It's hard to forget how a team like Real Madrid was defeated with a crushing score in the semifinals. Real Madrid will try to do anything next season to add to their collection of UCL trophies that they failed to achieve last season.

The big name that Real Madrid has is very easy to bring in quality players, Bellingham has been successfully brought in with great value. Real Madrid are still not satisfied with Bellingham arrival, they are looking for a striker who can be relied on to make their front line even sharper and more dangerous. I hope Mbappe will join Real Madrid next season, at Real Madrid it is easier for him to win the UCL trophy than the team he is currently defending.

I'm not a City fan. but it seems, City has a great chance to defend their title. why, because they have a solid squad and players of almost equal quality. plus, their backup players are also very reliable. IMO, currently the system that Pep has built makes City the strongest team compared to other teams. he just needs to overhaul a few flaws in the system, so that the opposing team will find it even more difficult to fight City. maybe, Pep will bring in one or two potential players if Gundohan leaves. maybe also, Pep will look for a replacement for Benardo Silva if he also leaves. what is certain is that the system that Pep has implemented has gone very well, so City only needs to get the right players and it doesn't rule out the possibility that they will be even more ferocious.

Real Madrid, yes, the defeat in the semifinal match should be a reference for Don Carlo to improve his squad to make it stronger.  Unfortunately, so far they have not found a candidate to replace Benzema. in fact, we can't be sure that Bellingham will adapt quickly. moreover, he is a young player who still needs high flying hours. but I have no doubts, that he is a good player and a future candidate for Madrid. well, if Madrid want to win this competition trophy again, that means they have to have a more competitive squad. that way, at least Madrid can keep up with Manchester City.
