Gundogan is a well-appreciated and decorated player and Pep Guardiola always speaks highly of him. As a free agent from the end of this month, any club that buys him will surely enjoy the benefits but I do not see a year contract as the issue here, it might be but I can't find a resource for that. It might be the issue of salary increase which is usual among players.

Regardless, many clubs are bidding for him now including Arteta's side, nonetheless, the two main choices are whether he to stay in Man City or move to Barcelona. Any of the options he chooses can't be a bad for the German guy.
Yes, you are right. It seems that Pep Guardiola will actually bless Ilkay Gundogan to Barcelona in the next transfer market, even though Manchester City are trying to retain the player. Until now, Manchester City is still adamant about keeping Ilkay Gundogan. Meanwhile, Barcelona has not given up on getting the midfielder with the German passport to move closer to the Spanish league.

As we know because Ilkay Gundogan's contract with Manchester City will end in a matter of days on the 30th of June. However, Gundogan has yet to extend his contract with Man City. Thus, Barcelona sees that there is still a big opportunity. Even though he is over 30 years old, Ilkay Gundogan is considered to still have good playing qualities. that's why he became the target of several big clubs.

In the champions league, Real Madrid got 14 titles so far which is much more than other teams, the second team on the list is Ac Milan they got only 7 titles and they have a long way ahead to reach Real Madrid we know the Champions League is the first priority for Real Madrid and they even sometimes save some players from La Liga to have better performance in this tournament which is more important for them.
Even in the next Champions League because of the better players and potential they have, Real Madrid can have much chance to compared to other teams. Even Manchester City with Guardiola while there in their good from will have problems against Real Madrid.

The nickname of the King of Europe is indeed not mere boasting. They have proven it by entering the final eight times since 1998, and eight times they have won. And until now, if Real Madrid had passed the semifinals and then entered the final, they would be the champions. Luckily this season Man City can defeat Real Madrid in the semifinals, otherwise Real Madrid will definitely win the 15th UCL trophy.

But whatever it is, Real Madrid this season is indeed very weak. It was clear that against Man City in the semi-finals, even in the first round, Real Madrid couldn't do much. I'm sure Real Madrid will learn from this season and now they are building a luxurious squad for next season, with the arrival of Jude and several other players this is proof that Real Madrid is serious about competing in the UCL next season.

I find it a bit weird that Pep Guardiola says that sentence. I thought Guardiola will try even harder to keep him after he has played such an excellent season. Is it really about the issue that Gundogan wants two years contract and Manchester City will only give him one year? If he can preserve that level I would immediately give him a two year contract if I were the manager. Guardiola often emphasizes how much he likes Gudogan, but I think by now he says that about everyone but is still willing to let them go if the negotiations don't go in favor of the club. But again I think that Gundogan improved even further and he is so reliable during the game, he is not making mistakes and he increased his striking as well. If Gudogan leaves Manchester City and joins Barcelona then the Champions League title in 20"§ was the last one for him.

Pep said that caused by he knew that if the come of gundogan to the barcelona will be adding lots of power to the barcelona. Gundogan is now a sensational player. The fact that if pep has been also releasing the new statement he is wanna fighting against barcelona to keep gundogan in manchester city. The contract extension was already prepared by manchester city for him. I hope that if city will fulfil what gundogan wanted from the club. Barcelona sees him as a player that can push the club to be even better for the upcoming season since busquets has been leaving as free agent.
I hope he will always stay in manchester city yet gundogan has said if he is not yet deciding his future. I hope he will agree with the contract extension offered by city soon.
Pep really wants him to stay longer in the club.
Pep Guardiola is just protecting the future of the club, he is not a kind of coach that built for just two or three seasons their in charge. Pep Guardiola wants to bring in Young stars that is why he will not allow Manchester city to give Gundogan a two years contract, if he don't accept the one year, Pep Guardiola will open the door for him to exit. Gundogan has won everything for the club and captain,he has proven to be world class, every team will buy him, because his price has increased in the market after the champions league and the treble they won this year.
Manchester city has Gundogan replacement in the team already so he won't be a problem to pep Guardiola if he leaves.

There is hope for Real Madrid to maintain that consistent winning of champions league title from next season, because their management are trying their possible best to bring in talented players that can make the team function well again like the 14 time they won the champion league title. Based on the potential players the management is planning to sign into the team this summer will really bring positive change that will make the players shine in any competition to maintain highest points through out the tournament. I don't think, Real Madrid will allow any team to take the title from them than to apply all the strategies that will make them champions at the end of the tournament.
The 4-0 defeat in the second leg of the UCL semi-final last season was a very embarrassing blow for Real Madrid, they have always been the favorites in this competition but Manchester City threw mud at Real Madrid face. It's hard to forget how a team like Real Madrid was defeated with a crushing score in the semifinals. Real Madrid will try to do anything next season to add to their collection of UCL trophies that they failed to achieve last season.

The big name that Real Madrid has is very easy to bring in quality players, Bellingham has been successfully brought in with great value. Real Madrid are still not satisfied with Bellingham arrival, they are looking for a striker who can be relied on to make their front line even sharper and more dangerous. I hope Mbappe will join Real Madrid next season, at Real Madrid it is easier for him to win the UCL trophy than the team he is currently defending.

After all, even though Real Madrid is the king of Europe because they have won 14 Champions League titles, but that doesn't mean they have to continue to win consecutive Champions League titles. Because after all, Real Madrid won the Champions League 14 times and I can say it was obtained in stages. That means, it would be natural if in a few seasons Real Madrid failed to win the Champions League title. Because after all, even though Real Madrid failed to win the Champions League title in several seasons it also would not make Real Madrid look weak.

In terms of probability it is clearly different but in terms of opportunity it is certainly the same, even though the conditions for a big club clearly have more advantages over the favorite but they still can't make it seem like the small club isn't there.
Now for the Champions League there could be some unexpected forces. Newcastle with the power of money and their passion to be better or even another club that is not really a favorite there could be several conditions like that during the 2021/22 season for Villarreal and last season for 3 Serie A clubs which were even surprising in the quarter final .
Even though the championship is still about how pots and clubs subscribe in terms of probability but still in terms of surprises for the Champions League, clubs like this with ordinary strength often do it.

If we see it like a team have the chance to become the Champions League champions as long as they haven't been eliminated yet then yes. In this situation we can see it like even the weakest team of the tournament have an opportunity. However I don't think the majority of people would think in this way while assessing the teams that can win the title.

People always look at how strong these teams are. Then they classify what teams can really win this title considering the strength and success factors. Of course not all the time the biggest title contenders win the title. For example Chelsea won the Champions League title in the 2020/2021 season while not many people were giving them a chance. Of course Chelsea are also a top team but they were trailing behind many others you know.

But when we look at the general history of the tournament the champions are nearly always the most performing teams with quality players.
Clubs that are considered to be favorites cannot be said that they will become champions, and small clubs that are considered only dark horse clubs have the opportunity to surprise, as in a football match.
The things that might factor into how we classify them as you said obviously are a consideration of what results we analyze about what will happen in the competition.
All clubs have a chance, it's just how many percent we will give them chances, like for example We will definitely give Manchester City big chances the same as we will give chances to weaker clubs, but the difference is how many points we will give to rate them.

What do you think about it?
Yes, maybe you are not in a hurry to update about the teams that have qualified for the 2023/2024 UEFA Champions League group phase, even though currently there are 26 teams that have passed out of the total that must be completed 32 teams, we still have plenty of time until Next August to complete the 6the team fills the remaining slots.

Maybe we have to wait again for the division of the Group Phase based on the draw, but I saw several teams from various countries that were declared to have qualified for the 2023/2024 Champions League.
Example:
Quote
England: Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United, Newcastle.
Espanyol: Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Real Sociedad, Sevilla (2022/2023 Europa League Champions).
Italy: Napoli, Lazio, Inter Milan, AC Milan.
Germany: Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Union Berlin.
France: Paris Saint-Germain, RC Lens
Portugal: Benfica, Porto.
Netherlands: Feyenoord.
Austria: Red Bull Salzburg.
Scotland: Celtic.
Serbia: Red Star Belgrade.
Ukraine: Shakhtar Donetsk.

We can probably wait for the team's further updates about the 2023/2024 Champions League.

It's no wonder that Real Madrid is the greatest team in the world and they prove it with many superior statistics in every existing category. The number of 14 UCL trophies will definitely be a source of pride for every player and fan. I think next season is the right time for Real Madrid to be able to regain control of Europe and the previous defeat in the semi-final against Manchester City will be one of the high motivations to win back the title that should be in the king's seat.

Even if later Manchester city meets Real Madrid, whether it's in one preliminary group or another round, of course they will always be alert and try to avoid problems when dealing with the king of the champions league.
I believe that next season will be a very serious season for Real Madrid because this season was a mess for them, and they didn't win any significant title. Real Madrid will love to win back the UCL title again next season to show the world that they still remains the league favorite.

I have always noticed that winning their domestic league don't use to be more of their concern but the UCL is what really matters to Real Madrid and this is the reasons why they are always buying the best players in the world to carry out the job. It is a big slap on their face as Manchester city defeated by with that amount of goals in the second leg semifinals and Real Madrid will do everything possible to overcome that shame next season.

I think Barcelona will be a strong contender in the Champions League next year and one thing is sure in my opinion and that is they are going to get out of the group stage pretty easily this time.I think so because they have improved a lot as a team during Xavi management and their focus was La Liga this year which they won and they celebrated like they should, now I think their main focus will be to do well in the Champions League as I am sure the Barcelona fans will be hoping for such a trophy as there is years they miss it.Barcelona is already strong like they are but of course when they get new caliber players is only natural that they will become even stronger.

Small clubs must have the same opportunities as big clubs, even though the competition is indeed lower, but at least it is a stage for them to be able to show that they can actually develop even though they cannot compete with the big clubs yet, so I agree with you.

The Conference League was created to give clubs who are finding it extremely difficult to qualify for the Europa League or Champions League a chance to experience the atmosphere of European matches. This also gives them a very big opportunity when they become champions, because they get a place to compete in the Europa League for the following season.

How the small teams like Sevilla or Newcastle or other teams can have the same chance as Real Madrid and Manchester City? Just the market value for these two teams and you understand how strong they are and the players they are not comparable with other teams, since they had more investment in there they will obviously get better results too.

In terms of probability it is clearly different but in terms of opportunity it is certainly the same, even though the conditions for a big club clearly have more advantages over the favorite but they still can't make it seem like the small club isn't there.

Ancelotti is even saying if he is staying in madrid this season but not for the next season. Ancelotti puts real madrid as its main priority rather than try to go to the brazil asap. That's why you will still see ancelotti coaching real madrid right now caused by ancelotti already confirmed that if he will not go to the brazil before upcoming season will be passed. Ancelotti is also trying to rebuild the team again slowly but surely after it has got big loss against manchester city in the UCL.
Ancelotti has a mission to do revenge right now. Don't worry, ancelotti will stay for another season. It's already confirmed by ancelotti itself.
So many news published his statement regarding the rumor of him linked to the brazil national team.
Ancelotti will definitely work out this season, which he has already explicitly announced several times. I see no reason not to believe a person who speaks directly about it. But about the fact that Ancelotti said some time ago that he was ready to end his career at Real Madrid, I would treat these words with much more caution. There are rumors that in 2024 he will announce his departure from the club to the management and the club already seems to be mentally ready for this and it is possible that Ancelotti will still decide to work with the Brazilian national team in the future.
As long as it's next year and i have no problem with it but real madrid is not preparing a new candidate to be a coach if ancelotti will leve this season. Im very happy ancelotti is staying for another season in real madrid.
Winning la liga and UCL gonna be another good gift for ancelotti before he will be leaving from club next year. I have been hearing same like as you said that if he will leave from real madrid next season.
Real madrid is still trusting. No reason to rush and join in the brazil national team. Ancelotti has been making a very wise decision. He is also very old now.

I hope that he can rebuild another great team again like a few years ago when ronaldo was still there. Real madrid may start to hunt some strong candidates to replace him next season.
Im thinking about real madrid will bring back zidane again next year.

Barcelona play well but not on the same level with the other teams that have been identified as teams that can win the champions league next season . They have a good team that has just been rebuilt, but they are not yet as strong as the Barcelona of before. If Barcelona is not in a tough group and can somehow avoid the very tough teams known for eliminating big teams, they can go far in the competition next season. But if they find themselves in a tough group, they will be eliminated. They are a strong team, but there are stronger teams currently.
It would have been much better if you had mentioned the teams that have been identified to win the champions league next season because the teams I have in mind to win the champions league won't be the same as yours. Many of us could predict that Manchester City tends to win the UEFA title again while many would disagree with that assumption.

What am trying to point out is that teams that qualify for the champions league are tough in their various leagues. They will come prepared with the new players they have signed into their teams that will boost their confidence in winning any of their champions league matches.

The fate of Barcelona in the champions league groups can be defined based on their previous season's performance because we're yet to know what they are building behind our backs this upcoming season. Whether they are to be fully prepared to face off any tough team without fear or not

@JoyMarsha Barcelona are definitely going to do well in the La Liga but in the champions league I doubt that they’ll fare well because they lack the depth and quality of player’s to win the champions league. Furthermore to compete in the champions league they need to spend lots of money on new player’s but as we know with their financial difficulties it won’t happen hence I feel that they’ll crash out of the champions league at a pretty early stage.

The main question is who is going to manage Real Madrid in the next champions league because I saw some news about Ancelotti leaving this team for Brazil and if this happened they are going to have a challenge with choosing a coach.
