Joselu most likely won’t be enough for the attacking line of Real Madrid. Supposing he injury that would take him out of action for weeks or worse, the rest of the season. They would need to be ready to compete healthily against other top clubs foot the title of the champions league cup.
No doubt, he’s a great player but I doubt he would be able to fill the really big shoes left by Benzema leaving the club. I don’t think the club was quite ready for Benzema’s departure from the club.

The Champions League always gives surprises in every season, even now we have seen a row of team names from several respective leagues that will play in the Champions League next season. From the English League there is Manchester city as the defending champion and Arsenal, manchester united and Newcastle united who have been absent from this highest competition for a long time. I think the competition will be more interesting to see the list of teams that will compete in the Champions League next season. Especially Newcastle united they performed quite impressive in the EPL this season where they were able to get rid of big teams to disturb them like Liverpool and Chelsea.  Now, the presence of Newcastle United in the Champions League next season is also believed to make the Champions League even more interesting. Because if Newcastle United is able to maintain the trend of moving forward in every round, chances are that it will be quite difficult for us to predict which team will win the UCL trophy next season. From representatives of Laliga There is Real Madrid which they are highly favored for next season because Real Madrid did a great job in this season transfer window by bringing in some good quality players.

Real Madrid started to seem like they will just make do with Joselu transfer in the attacking line for now. Because they are most likely to sign Mbappe when he is available and they might not want to splurge on any other striker now. But they can actually still sign a much more skilled player for a favourable amount. Because they need to think of the Champions League as well.

I don't feel like Joselu would be enough in the attacking line for being very competitive for the Champions League title. Ancelotti would like to have a reliable attacking line there I assume. As I said before they should think of Vlahovic as an alternative too. He can really be great for the team and Mbappe's arrival also wouldn't put him in a difficult spot in the lineup.

I don't think that this is true. Real Madrid don't recruit and train players. Instead Real Madrid buys made players i.e players that are outstanding. If you are not a superstar forget it,you will never play in Real Madrid. All players that was bought by Real Madrid has already made names before Madrid bought them. For example,Madrid is going for Mbappe who has already made his future very bright and is among the world classic players. We saw how Mabppe performance was superb in the world cup finals. A player might come to Real Madrid for the first time and might not perform well,doesn't mean that he is not a good player. The problem is that he might have not understood Madrid game pattern but the moment he understands then he will perform brilliantly.

The 2020/21 UEFA Champions League final between Manchester City and Chelsea was a very contentious final that both teams never had a breather from the first kick of the ball till the final whistle.
Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea was a very strong side that was delivering fantastic football at that time. They weren't an easy side to play against and I think it's totally disrespectful to Chelsea as a club for anyone to think that they were outplayed in that very match

It does seem Barcelona has acquired the right player to fill in the shoes of Sergio Busquets. I too am anticipating his performance at Barcelona in the upcoming season.
Gundogan is a player with so much experience under his belt and he’s bringing all that to Barcelona. It would be interesting to see in what direction would Barcelona take with Gundogan on board. I think they have a good shot of retaining the La Liga title. I think Gundogan would fit it nicely with the squad.

Every team tries to get one of the best players in the team but the strategy of selecting players is different from team to team and each team selects different categories of players. In this case, Real Madrid selects players in their own strategy.  And in keeping with the rest of their players, they recruit players of the same category and train them to form a strong team. That is why Real Madrid is always a good team and enjoys most of the match with winning

This Barcelona we see is pretty much far from Barcelona in the last years because they don't have any financial stability and they can't hire the players they really need. Instead, Barcelona can only old players like Gudogan for their team, this way they can pay less money and this Barcelona cannot have much hope even for the champions league because simply they don't have enough money to invest in it like other teams do in Manchester City and Real Madrid.

When a new player joins Real Madrid, it must be understood that the player is undoubtedly a very talented player because Real Madrid always values talented players. And whichever player joins Real Madrid, the player's career will go to another stage. Just like Karim Benzema was not the current Karim Benzema when Casemiro joined Real Madrid but Casemiro was not the current Casemiro he was made and Real Madrid made him. That means Real Madrid can produce players. If a player has talent, Real Madrid will surely make him a skilled player. I believe all the budding young stars currently performing at Real Madrid will one day become the best stars in the world.

The beauty about the UEFA Champions League is that it doesnt matter where a team is from or if it low rank or not financially rich. There will be lots of upsets and lots of drama too. Meanwhile the play offs path will commence next week tuesday (JUNE 27,2023).

At this stage I consider that the work done by Barcelona's management in the last transfer season was successful perfectly where they managed to reclaim the Laliga trophy from Real Madrid. Yes, Barcelona's finances were not good enough at that time, but look at the results they got and it was all thanks to the hard work done by Barcelona's management.  So, for next season, maybe Barcelona's target will be bigger, namely in the Champions League where Xavi will change the Barcelona squad in the transfer window by bringing in many star players and one of them is Gundogan, who they have managed to get. Gundogan arrival will have a significant meaning in Barcelona strength in the next season.

Indeed, competition in the Champions League is the toughest thing for every team because every team that competes in the Champions League is the best team in various leagues. I'm sure that Barcelona will probably go further in the Champions League next season.

The latest news confirms that Gundogan has officially joined Barcelona on a two-year contract until June 2025, as seen in the recent post by Gundogan's agent, Fabrizio Romano, on Twitter. This puts an end to the rumors regarding his future destination after failing to reach a contract extension agreement with Manchester City.

It seems that Barcelona has acquired the right player to fill the void left by Busquets, who is reportedly set to join Inter Miami. With the guidance of Xavi, whom Gundogan admires, I am eagerly anticipating his performances at Barcelona in the upcoming season.

Ok now we have an answer to that question. I thought Gudogan would also try to stay at Manchester City because for him personally Barcelona isn't the next step in his career, but it is something new. Maybe that is what he wanted or maybe Manchester City didn't offer him what he wanted. Barcelona still doesn't look very strong to me. They can compete for the La Liga title, but in the Champions League there is still something missing in my opinion. At least Gundogan can become the boss in midfield and contribute with his control and passing. It is not a bad transfer for Barcelona, but let's see whether it was a bad transfer for Gundogan after the first season.

At the moment, the most interesting thing is to find out who will be in which pot before the group stage draw. So far, the compositions of the first two pots are practically known, and the most unpleasant thing for me is that Barcelona and Bayern cannot be in the same group

I don't expect much from the Gunners in the Champions League, especially if their senior players leave. but actually, this team is a team that is quite strong and able to provide resistance to any team that becomes its opponent. after all, the system that Arteta implemented was an offensive system. so, you can be sure that every match they will play will offer an exciting match.
IMO, there are unique things that are actually rarely noticed from Arsenal's playing style. although, we tend to see Arteta not changing his formation with 4-3-3.
but actually, what is shown by Arsenal is very unique with its characteristics. every player rotation, and how they play is a tricky system. the intensity of the Gunner players is very high, we can even see it is not uncommon for Zinchenko to play as a winger or even as a midfielder and Tomiyasu is no exception. these two players, greatly influenced the style of play from Arsenal. The build-up that was built from the back players, was done quickly.

So, at least Arsenal should be able to qualify from the group phase. However, we don't know who will be their opponent yet and we'll have to wait and see after the draw. I just hope that the player Arteta will bring in is an ideal choice for The Gunner's squad. so that whichever team will be their opponent later, Arsenal will still do their job well.

I agree that this is really optimism. Because the work Chelsea did back then wasn't an easy one at all. The probability of it to happen was quite low compared to the biggest title contenders in that season. But Tuchel's tactical choices helped them somehow get a really surprising result. But as I said it isn't easy and not common in the Champions League for years.

Coming back to Barcelona, they aren't in a very promising situation for the Champions League yet before anything else. As long as Xavi doesn't change his system even a bit I don't see Barcelona doing the same thing Chelsea did. Barcelona players are really capable of playing bigger but obviously it won't happen like this just as it didn't for the recent two years.

That's right, remember that Real Madrid practically won everything last year and that they also often win the Champions League (at least in recent years). Honestly I always give her as a favorite as a team because she's solid, a real tank

Real Madrid need a quality striker. Karim Benzema created an important gap that Benzema has been filling for more than 10 years. Many strikers came and went and Benzema remained and continued to score goals. Now that he's gone, Real Madrid need an important striker. If they succeed in this, we can follow the old strong Real Madrid for many years.

Madrid earned their points and merited every trophy they have won in their history and currently. Real Madrid is a premier club with plenty of room for growth and an effective strategy for the future; they don't hesitate to add players if the situation demands it. Karim Benzema is one of Real Madrid's best strikers, however it took him a long time to be recognized and given the Ballon d'Or. His absence from the Los Blancos squad will not have a long-term impact on the club; but, as time passes, things will return to normal and the Los Blancos will be stronger than before.

Unsurprisingly, they are the reigning Champions League kings in history. So even if you are not a fan of them, history will justify this fact. I also admit it even though I am a Barcelona fan.


Real Madrid's dominance in the Champions League could end if other teams, especially Premier League teams, are able to re-form their golden era. Real Madrid have lost a lot of experienced players, they will even lose even more players at the end of next season because their contracts expire. Players like Modric, Benzema and Kroos have been crucial to Real Madrid's success so far in the Champions League, but when they left Real Madrid it was clear the quality of this side would not be the same.

Real Madrid remain the favorites in the Champions League, the same goes for Bayern Munich, PSG and Manchester City. But anyway, none of us know who will be the champions next season, but I tend to believe Manchester City is the best favorite next season.
