from Laliga, Barcelona lost and failed to advance to the semifinals, as well as Atletico Madrid failed to advance to the semifinals. Now the hope team from Laliga is Real Madrid. Of course, if for example Real Madrid lost, of course not a single representative from Laliga would qualify for the semifinals. and honestly I can't wait to see Ancelotti's troops play against Pep Guardiola's troops and of course it won't be long before Manchester City's match against Madrid in the Champions League.
but I predict Manchester City will win against Madrid. and I want to bet on Manchester city winning
The results of the Barcelona and Atletico match were really beyond my expectations. Barcelona and Atletico played in the second leg with a win in the first leg. Both are also favorites to win. PSG is indeed a strong team but many doubt them because Barcelona has long experience in the UCL. Nobody thought Dortmund would be able to beat Atletico. I thought Dortmund were underdogs in the quarterfinals and surprisingly they made it through to the semifinals.

This of course makes me really look forward to tonight's match between City vs Madrid. Many said City would lose because in the previous two matches the favorite team surprisingly lost. But I think City and Madrid are at the same level. I don't put Madrid on a par with Dortmund and PSG, but I think Barca, Atletico, City and Madrid do have the same quality. So I think tonight's match will be unpredictable. I don't even know which one to choose tonight.

I was rooting for the Spaniards and was convinced that we would see Barcelona Athletic Madrid and Real Madrid in the semifinals, but Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint Germain were able to turn the situation around and now find themselves competing in the semifinals, both teams come from the same group and now aspire to gain a pass to the final.
If Madrid fails today and is defeated by Manchester City, it is clear that there will be no representatives from the Spanish team in the UCL anymore, because Atletico Madrid and Barcelona have failed because they came back in the second leg, this will be valuable experience for them to compete again next season, no Some people think PSG can qualify for the semi-finals and Dortmund can also succeed in beating Atletico Madrid. I wouldn't be surprised if Dortmund makes it to the UCL semi-finals because they have experience with that because they play quite consistently.

Today is an important day where the team from England will determine who will qualify for the next round, the UCL semi-finals this time will be great because there are different teams this season, I admit that no one expected PSG to succeed in coming back in the match this second leg. but this is football, nothing is impossible for us to see, Manchester City will play at the Etihad Stadium and I hope Madrid doesn't make a comeback in this second leg, I hope Manchester City will qualify for the UCL semi-finals as will Munich, lol at least there will be an English representative who made it to the final.  Grin

Barcelona was eliminated, Atletico Madrid was eliminated, is it Real Madrid's turn? Dortmund played the most amazing game of this year. Atletico could do nothing but defend desperately. It was a deserved victory and a deserved victory. The Germans do this job great. If Bayern eliminates Arsenal, there may be two German finals.
I'm not talking about the club's that will make it to the finals. Let's focus on the present. Barcelona was home and also seen as an advantage to qualify but their outcome turned out to be against them. I think the referee, Istvan Kovacs was been faired towards both sides. Barcelona was leading, not until Araujo was issued a red card for tackling his opponent in the 18 yard box, it's been really a tough moment but the winning team will always prevail no matter what. The former and current Barcelona boss, Luis Enrique saw this epic comeback and grabbed it within his reach.
Luis Enrique is one of those who know the Spanish team best. Of course, this was an advantage for Paris Saint Germain. When Raphael scored the first goal, I thought things were over for PSG, but the changing game balance with a red card enabled PSG to pass the round. PSG advanced to the round and unfortunately Barcelona had to be eliminated with this defeat. In football, sometimes one mistake can destroy the entire team. Just like the red card that is deemed unnecessary.
Sure the red card broke the game and perhaps the suspension was too harsh a punishment, but the foul was there and Araujo is an experienced enough player not to make such mistakes. It is also unclear why Xavi was sent off, which further weakened Barcelona.
It should be noted that Barcelona fought to the end, especially Rafinha, but no one could score, although Gundogan and Rafinha had chances.
Barcelona have not reached the 1\2 finals of the Champions League for a long time, it's been 5 years since 2019 and this year's exit would have been a serious achievement for them, but unfortunately for Barcelona, the game was decided by the removal of Araujo and PSG stars Mbappe and Dembele.

It is a pity that Real and Manchester City will not play in the final, unfortunately with today will have to say goodbye to one of the teams. I believe in the victory of Manchester City, as the game will be played in England. I think both teams will play very cautiously in the return match and we will not see more than three goals scored.

However, just as I said that Barcelona could win, there's nothing to stop PSG winning the next game
...

I bet on Barcelona in the first game, in France, and managed to win the bet, even though everyone believed in PSG
Yesterday I didn't place any bets, I had too many doubts, and if I had placed bets, it would have been on Barcelona

I consider it a victory for me that I didn't bet hehe, sometimes it's better to do nothing, and I didn't lose the bet

I don't even have much to say, I was really surprised by this win, along with Mbapeé, who I thought was already discouraged with PSG and not playing his best
Barcelona missed their best chance of the year

Barcelona were very unlucky, they started the match quite well but something unexpected happened, namely one of their players received a red card, which made the game change drastically.
And I think that's a common thing that happens in football and PSG was able to take advantage of the moment to turn things around.

And what is quite a shame is Atletico Madrid's defeat against Dprtmund even though they already had significant capital after winning in the first leg, but Atletico Madrid's performance declined significantly in this match.

Tonight we will again watch the second leg of Bayern vs Arsenal and Man City vs Real Madrid, these two matches will also be fierce I think and I hope there will be more surprises.

In terms of Barcelona and PSG it was very sad for Barcelona because they never expected that things would turn around this way for them, actually with the kind of force they have on that match if they were not issued the red card they would beating PSG but however that's a game of football for you because a little mistake can cost a lot and that's exactly what disorganised Barcelona. However to night holds four of the toughest clubs on this champions League and from their last meetings knowing what will happen on this match could be hard but one thing is possible that they may no longer end in draw this time around.

Savage night of Champions League entertainment at the Westfalen Stadium: the colours vivid, the sounds ear-shattering, the defences in utter disarray. What a game! Pure chaos, pure theatre. It was a very entertaining game with many goals too.Having lost the first leg 2-1 in Madrid, Borussia Dortmund reached their first Champions League semi-final in 11 years to beat Atletico Madrid 5-4 on aggregate.

Of a truth, I actually thought it is over for this psg side as Barcelona took the lead, but a quick turn of events change everything about the match, and into the favour of psg, though the Barcelona fan would be feeling hard done by the red card,  but to me it's deserving because he was the last man, but a big congrats to psg for qualifying for the semi final of the competition.

And as for atletico madrid, I just don't know what transpired behind closed doors that makes them performed so badly yesterday that got them eliminated, because after the first leg, everyone believe that they are going to progress to the next stage of the competition due to their record of having the ability to hold on to their leads, but that wasn't the case yesterday, and they paid for it dearly.
I think Barcelona have lost their way since getting the red card, this is what makes PSG more confident with the advantage of 1 player, they are actually enthusiastic or ambitious to win at Barcelona's home ground. Yes, of course the supporters were very disappointed with the result, I thought Barcelona had shown their best game but fate said otherwise, I saw that PSG was ready technically and their players were on fire in last night's match. I was quite surprised by Dortmund's achievements, Indeed, they are not very superior, but they are confident because they are playing at home, every pass they make remains targeted at their players and their players do not waste the opportunities in front of them.

Playing with ten players against PSG was disastrous for Barcelona. The red card is the key that broke Barcelona's focus and it was working caused by mbappe has none who guard him and cubarsi is nothing in this game, he needs to learn a lot. Many people have discussed this, and the referee's decision was completely correct in that since it was PSG's last player and araujo was doing something bad for the club, he has successfully made its opponents get very big advantage caused by barcelona must have plaed with 10 players only. PSG got so many opportunities to score.
Barcelona deserves it, and it's still unclear whether Xavi will stay or leave the club. Xavi is a terrible coach because he is inconsistent with his statements. It appeared to me that failure in UCL would also push him to leave the club.
Come on, xavi! The better if you leave the club and join a good club that can provide good financial opportunities, such as Newcastle. I strongly believe Xavi will join the EPL in the coming season. Laporta may be having difficulty finding a new coach willing to take on such high pressure.
Barcelona loses in the UCL, which means that the opportunity to raise additional funds to assist the club's finances has already passed.

The red card obtained by Barcelona changed the course of the game of both teams, before the red card was obtained by Araujo of course we could see how aggressive Barcelona's attack was and even they could score in the 12th minute to make Barcelona move further away from PSG, I think in that match Barcelona could have even dominated to beat PSG if they had not lost Araujo and even when Barcelona played with 10 men,  PSG had to wait for 28 minutes to be able to score and equalize the score in the match.

When the second half started, Barcelona started trying to relax their attack and try to defend to be able to maintain their lead but I think the superior number of players certainly made PSG more dominant in attacking, PSG who were superior in number of players certainly did not waste the opportunity to beat Barcelona in the game and I think if Ter Stegen was not able to block many shots from PSG attackers of course they Conceding quite a lot and a Fantastic save when Mbappe took a long-range shot made me take my hat off for Ter Stegen, Barcelona actually still continued to catch up with them including when Lewandowski who had a chance to score wasted a that the chance in vain after he ego not to pass to another player who was free when right in front of the PSG goal.
I think it was just that Red card that disorganized Barcelona players in that game because at the beginning of the match Barcelona term where playing very well and they first score PSG, it was the red card that makes PSG players to dominate the game in the second half if not for that red card I think the game would been a though one for PSG yesterday.

Unfortunately, Barcelona destroyed everything, they had the chance to win with the advantage they had but in the end they had to be beaten by PSG with truly embarrassing score.
Competing at home and this is good opportunity but if it is wasted, I think Xavi will really end up as Barcelona coach and he will get an early retirement.

Due to their victory against Barcelona, PSG is now in the semifinals against Dortmund, who previously won over Atletico Madrid, if PSG can be consistent with their good performance then they have the opportunity to enter the final.
But for the semifinals, it looks like Dortmund will also show their best strength because the struggle has really almost reached the peak for the UCL competition.
It just that for these two team I tend to still believe in making PSG the favorite even though it not certain that they can actually win and qualify for the final.

Today the big match that determines the two giants will take place and we can see who between Manchester City or Real Madrid is the strongest to be worthy of fighting for the UCL title.
Manchester City appear more confident with the advantage of home games, this can put pressure on Real Madrid because Manchester City playing at home is very satisfying.

I don't know why Xavi was so furious about Araujo's red card. The situation was clearly a 100% red card for Araujo.
Sometimes a football player makes a mistake, which determines the end result of the football match. There are football teams, that start playing better with 10 players on the field. Barcelona obviously isn't one of those teams. PSG played really well, but Mbape didn't show his best performance.
Great game for Dortmund against a strong opponent like Atletico Madrid. I supported the Spanish team, but Dortmund clearly deserved to reach the semi finals.
I really hope that Real Madrid and Arsenal will be the next two teams, that are joining the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League.
It’s clear why, Xavi understood that if Barcelona had to remain in the minority against PSG, they would lose. For Barcelona, everything started exelent, they scored first and at first it seemed that everything was over for PSG, but Araujo's red card destroyed everything that Barcelona had achieved so far. Xavi's reaction was understandable because the outcome was not difficult to predict.

I can’t say which of these teams was stronger or weaker, Barcelona simply used the chances better in the first match, but a red card is a force majeure that is impossible to predict and PSG were simply luckier in this match. It’s surprising how Enrique reached the semi-finals, now they have to play with Dortmund, they already beat them once.

Yesterday's UEFA Champions League result surprised me. I never thought that PSG would go to Camp Nou and beat Barcelona 1-4 to reach this season's UEFA Champions League semi-final. Borussia Dortmund overturned the 2-1 defeat they conceded in Athletico Madrid's home to beat Athletico Madrid 4-2 and also qualified for this season's UEFA Champions semi-final.

Barcelona have never been known to lose at home especially in home and away fixtures but with how things are at the moment with them being one man down and PSG gaining confidence after they managed to come from behind to take the lead in the game, can they hold the game down or will this be where they miss out on an opportunity to go the next round?
PSG has just turned the tables around with that penalty awarded them by Dembele and has put a lot of pressure on Barcelona. I wonder what will be the outcome of this game.
Football is really unpredictable sometimes, I'm asking myself is these the same PSG that lost at home to Barcelona, and now they are currently leading Barcelona 3-1 in camp nou, making the aggregate 4-5 in favour of PSG. Though that one man down has really affected Barcelona considering the fact that the way PSG are playing, it's as if they came for a revenge mission, so if Barcelona where complete in their squad maybe it would have been a different ball game. Going by history too in 2017, Barcelona had similar kind of come back against PSG, maybe it is safe to say, this is history repeating itself in a reverse way.

This thing is still finding space to set in my brain because this is too much for Barcelona. seriously, PSG lost against Barcelona at home in their first leg, and this makes everyone think that the same thing will happen if they come to Barcelona home today, which is not what we think. In fact, I was expecting Barcelona to even score more than they did at home when they played there, which didn’t happen that way today. However, the referee was bad in his decision, making me think that there are things that he was doing that make me think somehow.

So this is really bad for Barcelona tonight because they went to their home and won, so definitely they will win today's match again because I was expecting the motivation of being at home to be with them and they will find it easy to win, although PSG came with a high temper about what happened in their home in the first leg, which is why they didn’t take this as a joke; they really dominate this match.
It should not sound so shocking to you because yesterday was a night packed with surprises. The tables really turned around and to be honest I didn't expect that Dortmund would make it to the semi's just as I didn't see PSG going far but I guess the best man won. This semi's will be the fourth time PSG will play Dortmund and this will be an opportunity for either side to do things right where they didn't have the chance to.

UEFA have released the ticket prices for the Champions League final this season at Wembley.
£2,900 for the most expensive 'Prime Seats'.

Source: https://x.com/DeadlineDayLive/status/1777726519474848078

OK, is it just me or does anyone else think that the prices of the tickets make me feel like brokie?

I mean of course some people are going to say that it is not that bad. But right now I think watching important football matches in the stadium is definitely a luxury that not everyone can afford. Now of course an argument could be made that we do not need to get the prime seat. we could just get the regular. But I think even then it is a little too much, isn’t it?

I mean people who are going to buy prime seats can afford almost anything in the world. The problem comes from the middle class or the lower class people.

Just a thought.

I think that it's not true. You can compare it with the ticket price of UCL final last season. The current price is even cheaper compared to the last season.

Quote
Category 1: €690 ($740)
Category 2: €490 ($525)
Category 3: €180 ($190)
Category 4: €70 ($75)
Accessibility: €70 ($75) plus companion for free
https://en.as.com/soccer/how-much-do-2023-champions-league-final-tickets-cost-n/

It's obvious that prime seats are reserved for people who want to watch the game in the priority seats and obviously have a lot of money to spend on those seats and im not even thinking people who can't afford it would be willing to buy that seats to watch final of UCL. The price has dropped significantly compared to last season. This is the standard price for UCL final.

You forgot if it was for the UCL final. This is not for a league match.

Atletico Madrid also had to accept the bitter reality, the final aggregate of 5-4 which made Dortmund qualify for the semi-finals. This is ridiculous.

Atletico Madrid gave it their all to go to the next round, but the pressure from Dortmund was too much for them, and they couldn't hold on for the whole 90 minutes. Sabitzer is the only Dortmund player who ended Atletico Madrid journey in the Champions League, one goal with two assists. The two La Liga teams have been eliminated from the Champions League, with Real Madrid remaining, and we have no idea what will happen tonight.  Sad

In the home match we saw a very composed performance from the Atletico Madrid players. The team played brilliantly. But I didn't think Atletico Madrid would perform so badly in the away match. Atlético Madrid have been able to perform well in almost every home match this season. But the performance of this team in away matches is quite weak. I don't know why this is happening. The coach should have been more careful in choosing his match strategy. Atletico Madrid team lost in this match due to bad defense.

This thing is still finding space to set in my brain because this is too much for Barcelona. seriously, PSG lost against Barcelona at home in their first leg, and this makes everyone think that the same thing will happen if they come to Barcelona home today, which is not what we think. However, the referee was bad in his decision, making me think that there are things that he was doing that make me think somehow.
Barcelona won the first leg, and they has a better opportunity to win the second game at home. I did not think that Barcelona would be playing at home, instead, I took the chance to bet on PSG to win since it is possible to make a comeback, and they won as i predicted. Barcelona dominated the game before Araujo was sent off, after Barcelona lead by one goal, I don't see a chance for PSG winning the match again because they lost at home, and they were down with one goal, i thought the same thing would happen. The referee destroyed Barcelona's game with a red card, PSG got advantage to eliminate them. If not for the red card, Barcelona will surely qualify.

It was a completely unexpected result that Barcelona would concede a defeat at home. We knew that the teams were strong in home matches. Despite the win in the away match, the massive 4-1 defeat in the home match was completely unexpected.
The main turning point of this match was Ronald Araujo's red card. Until then, the Barcelona players were able to perform very well. And was leading 1-0. PSG equalized at Dembele after Ronald Araujo received a red card. Vitinha and Mbappe scored twice in the second half to give PSG a 4-1 victory.
