I only watched until the 60'. At that time I thought that Inter Milan would be the Serie A team that would qualify for the next round. They shocked the world yesterday by defeating the best team in the Italian Seria A side Inter Milan.
No one expected Atletico Madrid to qualify to the quarter finals ahead of Inter because of how good inter is in all competitions and the fact that Inter won the first leg; nevertheless, Atletico Madrid qualified to the quarter finals, but this might be their last stage they can attend this season because we see how good other teams are compared to them.

That's good to see that you were putting separate bets for these matches. It's hard to believe that Intermilan was losing in this game, considering that many people talked about the superiority owned by Intermilan, but it can be broken by Atletico Madrid with its very consistent club. Intermilan did some mistakes and i must admit that if intermilan is not having good skills to execute penalty properly. The chance for Intermilan to get a lot of trophies at the same time has vanished with the loss against Atletico Madrid last night. Unbelievable result to see that how intermilan was under perform. Atletico madrid deserved it to win the penalty since intermilan bottled some shoots.

Never expect intermilan to play like shit against atletico madrid, i lost my bet and yeah this sucks. I never think intermilan changed its gameplay a lot. It seems like that whole of intermilan's players should have trined how to execute the penalties properly.
They are playing so damn good in scoring through open play but they are all flopp in executing the penalty which is very bad for the club when it comes to a fierce battle like this. Diego simeone should have learned a lot from this.

I no that Atletico Madrid will not reach quarter final if you check their position in the Italy serie A and, it will be difficult for such team to withstand premier league teams and any team that will win this trophy will surely be from premier league team.

Inter really struggled throughout the second leg, I even dare say they were lucky to get through to extra time because Atletico Madrid failed to convert their last chance at the end of the second half. In the end, Atletico Madrid managed to qualify for the quarter-finals after fighting hard throughout the match, but the penalty shootout was 50/50 for both of them and they were really able to make the most of it.

This season 3 La Liga teams dominate the quarter finals where Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have secured their places.  In the match between Arsenal and FC Porto, little did we expect that match to go to extra time especially as so many of us thought Arsenal will be thrashing out Porto with some huge number of goals. Well Arteta boys got the win at 90 minutes but that wasn’t enough to end the game there. Porto too performed better than they did at their home as they came to give Arsenal a run for their money and that was one of the major reasons why we saw this match going to extra time and even to the penalty shoot out.

 Arsenal need to be grateful to Raya who was able to pull up some saves in the match and also during the shoot out because him not being there could have been a different story already for the Gunners. Now they’re through to the last 8 and I think this is the first in over 14-15 years and you can see the joy from the fans. Well, I think the attack needs to be more productive in this phase cause now we’ve got the competition getting more stronger and top teams still remaining and ready to battle it. Congratulations to Arsenal for still staying top of the league and on their Quater Final Spot.

I already suspected that at Atletico Madrid's home ground, Inter Milan would have difficulty winning, even though they won because of the penalty shootout, this is the place to find out who is experienced and has a winning mentality, Atletico Madrid was able to handle the penalty shootout well, Martinez's failure to execute the penalty made all the fans regret it. That's what ultimately prevented Inter Milan from qualifying for the next round and going home first. Inter Milan must focus on the domestic league after this because their failure in the UCL was certainly very disappointing.

But Martinez has given his best performance so I think it's not a mistake that should be brought up either because of him Inter Milan can win the title in the Italian league this season too and played very consistently this season even though they failed in the UCL, Inter Milan need to learn a lot after this and I am sure that next season they will reach an important round, I really regret those who support Inter Milan and feel confident of getting to the final again, even though their path was smooth last season, they got an easy opponent compared to Manchester City to reach the UCL final. Coincidentally, Inter Milan got a similar opponent, namely Atletico Madrid and that has proven that Inter Milan is not ready to win the UCL title this season.  

Not really my man, everybody wants to qualify for the Champions League Competition next season you see, infact Atletico Madrid was just the club that lost during the weekend to Cadiz as th y went ahead to beat them two goals to nothing.

And as for Inter Milan, they're not not just very strong, they're by far the best attacking side in all of Seria A as they go on with twelve points chasing and figuring out means to win the Scudetto League Competition by the end of this very season. They're the strongest and they couldn't beat Atletico Madrid? I'm also tipping the name Napoli to beat them come weekend as they travel to San Siro to face them.

And why do I feel like Arsenal would get the Champions League finals? Do you also think Mikel Arteta has got this one? I can vouch for gunners in the Premier League Competition a hundred percent but absolutely not the Champions League Competition.

I think Inter did not give their best performance last night, I saw them very tired. Inzaghi has changed the starting line-up a few times this year and now the fitness is suffering. I think the importance of maintaining harmony between players can be one of the keys to a club's success and here Dortmund still has quite a long way to go.

Atletico Madrid victory made me lose the bet because Inter failed to qualify, Atletico Madrid performance was quite impressive since the first half started and the difference in strength was very clear. Congratulations to Atletico Madrid for qualifying for the last 8 and they deserve it. Didn't expect to have to shoot each other on penalties.

The draw for the top 8 is highly anticipated, is this fair enough considering their respective strengths, because Dortmund is also the second team to successfully represent the Bundesliga. IMO, Dortmund was lucky to take the lead with a quick goal scored by Jadon Sancho in the 3rd minute. however, if Dortmund doesn't score quickly, it's likely that this match will be quite tough. but actually it seems like this match was quite exciting if you refer to statistics, because PSV put up quite an exciting match in this match. they dominated ball possession, had 17 shots, 7 of which were on target, 2 big chances, 1 shot hit the post. Likewise referring to tactical reasons, PSV is slightly better than the home team. overall, Peter Bosz's squad put in a strong performance. however, the efforts they made were unable to produce a goal in this match.

On the other hand, this match is also as I predicted. if Ezin Terzic's squad will win this match. and yeah, Dortmund played well in this match. unfortunately, this victory seems to have come at a high price. because, it seems that Jardon Sancho had problems with injuries in last night's match. however, the player who became the Man of the Match in this match was Gregor Kobel, the Dortmund goalkeeper who did a very brilliant performance. He made 7 saves which made it difficult for PSV to break into Dortmund's goal. Finally, Dortmund deserves to advance to the next phase. in the next round, Dortmund will play against a tough team.

I watched this match and it must be admitted that the mentality of the Atletico Madrid team is very strong, they did not waver and the factor of playing at home made the Atletico Madrid team's confidence better.

I am quite pleased with the way two teams qualified from the different leagues to the quater final,Mancity and Arsenal from England,Dortmund and Bayern from Germany,Barca and Athletico from Spain.The round of draw will be very interesting,and I wish they don't make teams from thesame league to meet at this stage of the tournament,it should be final or semi final.

Atletico Madrid taught Inter a valuable lesson in today's match, showing the attitude and mentality that must continue to be fought for. Depay should be appreciated because when he saw him as the first kicker he looked confident and succeeded in paving the way for all the Atletico Madrid players. Its amazing how they stopped Inter. To his credit, Simeone knows how to motivate his team when it counts. Their mental toughness shows in their capacity to endure penalties.

Atletico's quarterfinal road looks good to me. They've proven they're here to compete, not just participate. They could go further with Simeone at the helm. Watching it will be thrilling. This performance proves they can beat anyone, no matter how strong.

Quite the day in UCL last night right ?

Personally , I had PSV to qualify over Dortmund as I really can't see German football being in top3 right now but I got it wrong and both Bayern and Dortmund are present in last top 8.

Inter , who last year played the finals , managed to get eliminated by ATL.Madrid and overall , Madrid really deserved to qualify because they played way better than Inter last night but also Simmeone found a way to make actually block Inzaghi and his style.

On the last place , Oblak is indeed a great keeper and it's always a tradition for ATL.Madrid to actually have top goalkeepers in their team.
