In a very realistic view it's not a slap comparing to teams who play in major leagues and are of the elite Cader of their various leagues, Dortmund isn't a small team either, even in the champions league they have a record too, they have gotten to the finals about three times of which they won one even if it's not in this era but then Dortmund isn't a team that can be written off in this manner as they are much better of than the way you seem to have presented them .

Real Madrid is a very tough team with a very good and sound reputation across Europe such that their football prowess is known across Europe and that can't be disputed but if you are to visit the bundesliga just like Madrid will be mentioned amongst the top teams in Spain (la Liga) so will Dortmund be mentioned amongst the top teams in the bundesliga and across Germany, before now, Dortmund has always been the second runner up after Bayern Munich so I think it's even erroneous to think Dortmund is that small probably because they weren't at their best in their domestic league this season but then I believe getting to this point in the champions league is a boost to their confidence and by next season they can do better.

Let's not be surprised if Dortmund eventually gets to be a stumbling block to the Spanish side and making it really difficult for them and possibly getting to take the trophy from them because they are definitely not going to just allow this opportunity to be given off to Madrid without a fight just that Madrid has got a relatively firm depth which is their advantage but for Dortmund they have gotten good strength around their defense with which they can put up good resistance against Madrid so I don't think underestimating them is a good idea.

It's not useful, but it can be the main benchmark in predicting the match, even though in the 2013/14 Quarter-finals Real Madrid lost 2-0 and in the 2012/13 Semi-finals 4-1, even though Real Madrid with past and present players There are indeed many differences, but their fighting spirit to defend this championship can be very big, plus the midfielders that Real Madrid have can be very troublesome, in the final match all clubs will play very competitively because the match schedule is not too busy between both clubs then there is a big chance that it will go as exciting as you predicted..

It will be so dumb if dortmund goes fully offensive against real madrid, which have best attackers in the world. Real madrid is very consistent in UCL. This is my reason why madrid will destroy dortmund in the final.

Real Madrid's Champions League final chances are looking excellent. Check out their season so far! With Jude Bellingham, they're crushing it and looking even stronger. Dortmund could park the bus and play counterattacks, but I dont see it working. With so much firepower up front, Real Madrid can break down defensive teams. Even if Ancelotti sits starters like he did against Villarreal, they could score against Dortmund. The draw was a wake-up call, but I think it will encourage Real to play harder in the final. Real Madrid will win that trophy. They outclass Dortmund.

I agree with some of the points you said, yes, if I have to compare the two teams that will compete in the Champions League final, these two teams have depth and experience that differs based on statistics if we have to compare them. We agree that it is very likely that Edin Terzic's team will play more on the defensive line, I mean Real Madrid will dominate the game more. especially, if we refer to Dortmund's several matches before qualifying for the final round of this competition. One example is when Dortmund played against PSG, whether home or away, Edin Terzic's team played more in their defense. Despite Dortmund being able to score first, Terzic seems more focused on their defense. Moreover, if Dortmund is able to take the lead first. With this scenario, Terzic will better defend his position and get around his team to maximize the opportunities available, especially when counter-attacking.

But as you said, in this Final match everything will be different. Even though Real Madrid is far favorite than Dortmund, what's more, we are also referring to the betting market. But in football anything can happen, because so far we have only talked based on existing data and statistics. Even though it is supported by the available material, this match has not yet been held. which means, before the Champions League final match has not been held. We will not know for sure which team will win the Champions League competition in the 2023-24 season. we'll just have to wait and see, and I hope this match provides a fight worth enjoying.

It is a big match that the whole world awaits to see the outcome of the game, because a lot of fans have been debating and discussing on who will win the league while majority are supporters of Real Madrid because they have always being the favorite when it comes to a game like this. Dortmund is unpredictable and shoukd not be underestimated by Real Madrid players because that is where the problem might come from if that happens.

On the other hand Real Madrid players and coach have being looking forward to see a day like that when they will be in the finals after lat season after they were kicked out of the semifinals by their rivals. Luckily for Real Madrid this season, it was their own payback time and they were able to pass through Manchester City to this stage. This means that they will never let it just be that they played the finals without winning it, that is unlike them because the players and coach are desperate to see their dreams come true this season. I have already concluded that whoever qualifies in that match between Manchester City and Real Madrid will be the winner of this season UCL.

It is not totally useless, it is the fact. Real Madrid is superior against Dortmund in 14 meetings, the stats proves it. We don't favor Real Madrid based on assumption, but it is also based on the data of previous matches. Sure, Dortmund ever defeated Real Madrid but it was when Dortmund in their best squad. Lewandowski is no longer there, now there is no a striker who has a similar quality as Lewandowski. All the strikers of Dortmund are average strikers now, so don't expect the match like in Lewandowski era. 

Real Madrid is in their best shape. And it is clear that Real Madrid has a better squad. Even, Real Madrid has the star player who ever became a mainstay player of Dortmund. Vinicius and Rodrygo are also performing well in this season. If we take a look on the attacking line of both teams, Real Madrid is much better than Dortmund attacking line. So Real Madrid has the chance of scoring more goals over Dortmund. Meanwhile for midfielders, it looks like Real Madrid also has better players. Dortmund only has strong players in defense line, but Ancelotti must have certain tactics to destroy Dortmund defenders. If there is no surprising thing during the match, no doubt Real Madrid will win the trophy.

Even Dortmund players play optimally, I am not sure they have a chance to beat Real Madrid. Moreover, Real Madrid is a team that has a great mentality when they are playing in the final match. They almost win all the final UCL match.

Just because Dortmund haven't won a single trophy doesn't mean they have a better chance win it in the Champions League final than Real Madrid. Moreover, Real Madrid have so much more experience in this tournament that they can play more confidently, although these are just my assumptions. There is no need now to evaluate Real's defense based on the match with Villarreal, because there you need to evaluate the match comprehensively, starting with their squard and ending with motivation. In the final everything will be different, and most likely it will be Dortmund who will play most of the match in defense, unless they concede an early goal and have to win back.

I do agree with you anyways, so much has changed since the last time they won them and also not just Robert Lewandoski, they had, Jurgen Klopp as manager and Mario Gotze world cup finalist goalscorer for Germany and others I can't recall completely.

I feel like it's not a good way to look at the current balance of power. Why? Because Borrussia Dortmund knocked out PSV, aren't they first place on the Dutch League Competition?
What about Paris Saint Germany? Aren't they top of them division in the France League 1 Competition? I just don't agree with you on that but then, We all know Real Madrid are damn superior when it comes to the Champions League Competition.

Yeah, it gladdens me to see that, I take a good look at Arda Guler and he is having a great season already scoring back to back to back goals for Los Blancos side. Maybe he'll get a place to showcase what he can do in the Champions League finals. Not the first half though.

Real Madrid in this season is a good combined team of old, experienced players and young, talented, ambitious players. This combination makes their team are more ambitious because we can break down ambition of their players, between old and young players.

With old and experienced players like Modric, Kroos, Nacho, they will try to shine in very last seasons or last season in Real Madrid and win their last Champions League title. A classic example is Modric, after making a corner kick and Bayern Munich made a counter attack, he run quickly to Real Madrid's box to make a tackle and stop that dangerous counter attack from Bayern Munich. This shows his high ambition even he only played that match as a substitution.

With young and talented players like Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, Camavinga, Tchouameni, they are at very early years of their career and even they already achieved some titles, their ambition is very high as they really want to step on similar successful path of Modric and Kroos, winning many Champions League titles.

The combination of two player generations will help Real Madrid to play this coming final match with very high ambition and motivation to beat Dortmund.

I perfectly understand that Real Madrid is the most successful club in Europe and as the most successful European club, they have that winning mentality which I think is necessary of their biggest weapons as a club but after the result of their game today against Villarreal and how Villarreal were able to come from three goals down draw the game, I became worried of what Real Madrid in the final against a Borussia Dortmund team that's more formidable than Villarreal.
Borussia Dortmund did not win any other trophy and the only way they can finish the season a trophy is by winning the UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid so I expect them to be at their best when facing Madrid. Real Madrid despite their result today against Villarreal is stilly favorite team to win that final but they must definitely be at their best to achieve that against Borussia Dortmund

Real Madrid is undoubtedly the favorite to win, they have every rational reason to be predicted as the winner. However, prediction is just prediction that can go wrong when the result comes out. Dortmund being an underdog won't stop their chance to win the final, in fact, this status can relieve a bit of the pressure of the game.

Despite one team being most favorite and other team being underdog, the final match is still hard to predict. Dortmund have ability to  make a surprise, they have history to beat Real Madrid with a big goals Margin years ago. Real Madrid is just Real Madrid, a club with a long history and winning culture. Their strong mentality in Champions League is a big factor achieve the trophy.   

Dortmund and Madrid are promising and having odds to come out winners but only one will emerge. Borrusia Dortmund are entirely going to do their very best to make sure they win the UEFA Champions League but we should also look on the other side, Real Madrid will not give up anything to missed out on the title. Carlo Ancelotti looking forward to accomplish another magnificent treble season, this is really a thriving season for Los Blancos and they wouldn't give up for anything.

In fact, Dortmund path to reaching the Champions League final was easier than Madrid, where Ancelotti fleet had to work very hard to get rid of the two favorite teams to win, namely City and Bayern. Dortmund indeed had fierce competition when they were in the group phase because they were part of the Hell group, but afterwards the opponents they faced were no tougher than City and Bayern.

The Champions League final match between Madrid and Dortmund this season was almost the same as last season, where City at that time was the top team and Inter was the unseeded team. So predicting who will emerge as champions this season seems a little easy, Madrid is clearly the favorite, but Dortmund certainly shouldn't be underestimated either.

If we are to be as mush honest as we can actually get to be then comparing Dortmund to Madrid is a big slap. We know this is the final and the two finalist will try to be on their best play but Dortmund doesn't stand so firmly to face Madrid and call it a win. Madrid will so deal with Dortmund, just in their previous matches we can see how clubs that are not up to a match for Madrid are defeating them with a good goal differences and we now think they would be a bigger threat to Madrid. If Dortmund should win, we call it luck and even if, might be in a penalty shootout but their assurance of winning this Champions league is extremely full of doubt.

Dortmund is a team full of passion and they have the guts to be the best this season. I certainly didn't expect that because Real Madrid seemed to have prepared well to win the title in the final, maybe it would be easier if one of the Dortmund players made a fatal mistake that resulted in a red card.

Real Madrid is the best team in the Champions League, this is a fact. Even though Dortmund has a defensive and counter-attacking strategy, I believe Real Madrid can force Dortmund players to make mistakes by pressing more until they concede. It's difficult to stop Real Madrid from scoring goals even if you use a defensive strategy, in fact I don't remember if this season Real Madrid has ever had a goalless draw (0-0) in any match.

I wouldn't want to judge Madrid's champions league performance by the one that which they just did in their domestic league because in their domestic league they have already won the league and literally have almost nothing to really play for so that game wasn't a really important one for them so they are not going to loose anything if they don't get to win that game but with the champions league it's totally different.

It's very possible they lost that game in the la Liga and will still get to the champions league and be able to put up a very brilliant and excellent performance such that they may even get to win the trophy by the end of the the game, i'v seen it with most champions league teams how they are able to put up a totally different performance from that which they did in their domestic league whenever they come to the champions league so I still believe that Real Madrid will be able to still do better than they did in the champions league next week.

Obviously it was a strategy to keep their key player strong and still in form against Dortmund in the champions league that's ahead because they already have the la Liga so they would want to add the champions league to the trophies that have won this season knowing how prestigious it means to win the champions league they would do all they can to keep their players fit and be able to win the game.
