Useless historical statistics. Are there many players left on the teams from the last time they met? If I remember correctly, Dortmund beat Real even when Lewandowski was in their lineup  The current balance of power is clear: Real is first in La Liga and Dortmund is fifth in the Bundesliga. I think that the top teams from La Liga are obviously stronger than the top teams from the Bundesliga (although this question becomes more and more interesting against the backdrop of Bayer's rise). Real Madrid are playing their last games with a reserve squad, the final will be crazy, the players will be in optimal shape.

They already know the chance for Real Madrid is much higher than Dortmund normally because the performance of Real Madrid has been amazing so far during this season and they got improved a lot especially after they hired Jude Bellingham for their team. Even if they win the La Liga title. Also, Real Madrid is the best team in the Champions League and is not on the same level as a team like Dortmund.
While I guess Dortmund is going to play full defensive to not give Real Madrid the chance to score goals and then they can hope for the counterattacks.

Talking about the UCL next season, you can already begin to imagine how many undersogs we will be having in the competition next season. Yes in the Ligue 1, we’re still expecting Brest to be able to grab win in their last game and get a ticket to the UCL then we know how much fun we are in for. ⁠We already have Bayer Leverkusen and Girona who have gotten tickets and are seen as underdogs based on UCL presence or experience.

 Well I don’t think Bayer Leverkusen will be seen as underdogs after getting the league for the 1st time in the club’s history and going invincible through the season. That’s really a lot and I think that achievement won’t be overlooked by any of the club’s they meet in UCL next season. They have a better squad and i think 90% of the players will still be remaining till next season, so you see why they will still be a feared team rather than being an underdog in the UCL.

 ⁠Girona too with good investments, you can see how much they have become and you can only imagine the players they will be able to attract in the summer. This will make the UCL very thrilling and Im am already eager to watch how the competition goes as underdogs are always having a say in every UCL season; so let’s see who have the loudest bark next seaso.

Of course it wasn't Real's best match, but the first half was excellent. Perhaps at some point Real decided that the match was in their hands, since their advantage was very significant and they had nothing to worry about. In the second half, there was simply an underestimation of the opponent, and in fact, Ancelotti don't needed this victory, since for Real there was only one goal left this season, and that was winning the Champions League final. All other matches cannot be taken too seriously, since Real have already secured the championship for themselves a long time ago and they can even lose all the remaining games without damage to the team.

What was your expectation.....
I didn't expect  more they already secured the league  playing  with few regular starters is just a reservation for UCL Final

I want to believe this is still ideal for Real Madrid but I'm not impressed with what they played today but the main squad would have done it differently, these ones doesn't look to rugged, hungry and stubborn. Vinicious would have handle them very well but I think there is nothing here worth fighting for, the domestic league has finish. Their main focus is Champions League and that's all that matters now and I don't think Dortmund will do anything new.


Anceloti will not start Joselu, that guy will remain a back up but perhaps next season he is going to start. He will not make any complications, just keep it simple except for Lunin that will not be stopping. He was to open in their encounter against Villarreal, I support the motion of been bench so Courtois can actually start since he is a bit experienced and okay to fit in for the team.

Most definitely till the end of the game, it still stands that both team are having equal chances of winning the trophy this season unlike the domestic leagues where a team can win the league title already even before the end do the season probably by virtue of them having very high points such that it will be seen that even if the rest of the games remaining are won by the teams behind them, they will still not be able to get ahead of them.

I wouldn't want to underestimate either of both teams because they are both good except thst Madrid has been known for their champions league records and their strength they have established in the champions league over the years, they have aswell had more champions league finals than don Dortmund but then seeing how well Dortmund has performed in their last champions league fixtures that got them to the finals, you will understand thst they have aswell been a good team that may trouble Madrid and may deni them of the trophy if they aren't brilliant enough.

Real Madrid actually had won the la Liga trophy so already they have gotten something they are taking home by the end of the season but the. Dortmund is yet to get any which happens to be more reason they will definitely want to give in their very best and make sure they are able to get as much as they can get form the champions league and hope they be the Lucky one so it turens out to be a big win for them.

As a Real Madrid fan, I'm worried because of how the club conceded three quick second half goals against Villarreal when they have a UEFA Champions League final game to play against a much stronger team than Villarreal in Borussia Dortmund. Of a truth, Real Madrid didn't start the game with the clubs regular starting XI but that I don't think should be the reason why they should concede four goals against an average team like Villarreal

Luck always stand with braves and Borussia Dortmund done impressive job while they were facing Atlético Madrid and PSG which give them good success and chance to play against Real Madrid into final of the Real Madrid things are really amazing while they are having good defensive strategy and their players are also having good quality which were needed for having wins against big names in this competition now it's all on them how they will be prepared themselves for the final.

Real Madrid is currently complete package which is having good players and their coach is also having legendary career which understand how to fix opponents in these pressure games but no doubt in case of win for the Borussia Dortmund this could be huge upset while they were not even into top eight for the win in this season.

This is an assumption I think is wrong because Borussia Dortmund have fans that are excited to see them in the final and who expectations is that they will be coming back home with the trophy. There is no team that will reach the final that will not want to win so assuming that Dortmund will be relax is like saying that they will feel defeated when the match have not even started.

You will be surprised that Borussia Dortmund will even be more serious to win the match than Real Madrid because they need the trophy more than Madrid that have won it many times. It will be a beautiful final and I have the feeling that any team that losses will not be too depressed about it.

I do agree that Real Madrid look like the big favourites, and Dortmund probably doesn't even feel like they have a chance to be fair. If they know what they are going against, they are aware that they need a lot of luck to make this game work.

Not only they need to find a score, which would be hard enough, but also they will need to make sure that they are seeing it get different in the end, we should consider how we could also stop Real and they know it would be very difficult for that to happen. Sure they did defended very well before, but they will not be able to do that to Real most likely. This is why I believe that they are on the wrong path, and should consider what they could do, but even the finals is quite good achievement.

In this season, we are having many interesting results in different leagues with many teams are going to be had new lifeline and many are going to be had back to their normal life with they are not capable of competing at this level there is no doubt we are having few teams which are going to be created history but still it's never been easy to predict about any result Aston Villa done historic achievement in Premier League and now fans are waiting for them to have their performance in next season which Champions League could be huge pressure same going to happen with Bologna and Girona while we are having Bayer Leverkusen and Stuttgart at some better level because they are having good strength.

Many big names are coming back into competition with Liverpool, Juventus and Monaco which are having good record but now it's completely new format with new competitors.

I don't see that as anything. They will not have any pressure on that day, because it is not something new to them and the coach is not the type that is just experiencing UCL finals for the first time. Real Madrid club is built for the champions league trophy so I believe that they are use to winning the finals.

Dortmund on the other hand will be the club on pressure, because they have not smelled the finals but just once and that was a very long time ago. Dortmund will be filled anxiety and might get confused on the pitch of Real Madrid scores first before them, but Real Madrid is used to winning a match from one goal down.

One of the good aspects of not being the favorite to win the UCL is that Borussia Dortmund will have no pressure at all over their shoulders and they will be able to display their skills to their fullest, Real Madrid players on the other hand will have a huge amount of pressure as they are the clear favorites by the fans, and their history of long term success on the UCL will not help to alleviate that pressure at all, so it is entirely possible the match could be a lot closer than what some experts predict.

It doesn't matter if there will be more Real Madrid or Dortmund supporters in the stands because it is clear, basically Real Madrid has a very good winning mentality. Therefore, even though for example there will be more Dortmund supporters in the stands but still, Real Madrid will still be able to play well. However, that doesn't mean I underestimate Dortmund,  but in reality Real Madrid has better quality. Therefore, of course it is not surprising that in reality Real Madrid is also the favorite team to win, but of course Dortmund will also do their best, and so any team it will still not be easy to win in a final match like this.

I agree with you. The best club in the Champions League is Real Madrid. And Madrid's dominance in the Champions League is palpable. Madrid have won the Champions League title 14 times in total and finished as runners-up 3 times. Madrid have won the title most times since qualifying for the final. On the other hand, the Dortmund team has won the title only once. The team won the title in 1997. And runners up only once. So naturally, Real Madrid is considered the favorite for the Champions League final.

Real Madrid is in very good form this season as well. Madrid have a very experienced coach and a stable squad. However, Dortmund's defense is also very strong. And I would say the team qualified for the finals because of the strong defense. I look forward to seeing Ancelotti step up to break down this strong defence.

There is no doubt that they are the best team in the Champions League, with their success in recording 14 titles, making them the team that has won the most Champions League titles, and even this title is very far compared to other teams. Now they have a big chance of increasing their Champions League trophy tally to 15, if they manage to win in the final, and it looks like that will happen.
Even though they are young players, Real Madrid's young players managed to show excellent play, so they became a real threat to Borussia Dortmund's defense. Now Borussia Dortmund must focus on defense, because there are many Real Madrid players who can break into their defensive area. If they have just a little gap, then Real Madrid players can really exploit it. However, I also hope that Borussia Dortmund don't just play defensively, I hope they also use an attacking game, because if they defend maybe it will make the match monotonous. But on the other hand I also think that maybe they want to take the game to a penalty shootout.

Madrid is the best club in the UCL, they know how they will end the season by winning the UCL title, especially with the opponent they are facing, in my opinion it is not that tough when compared to Man City or Bayern Munich, I see that Borussia Dortmund is not a club that can beat Madrid but It's true, as you said, anything can happen even though the possibility of winning is only small because Madrid is strong enough to knock out their opponents when they are in the final.

Don't forget Bellingham and Rodrygo who will keep Borussia Dortmund's defense system busy and maybe Anceloti will use Joselu if needed when Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo have difficulty scoring goals. Anceloti always has a way to play strategy in the UCL. He is a coach who is good at making decisions even in Even though times are difficult, I can't wait for Madrid to win the UCL title again this season.
