It is clear that Liverpool are favourites in the upcoming game, but this does not mean that they will try to take the full three points. They have practically guaranteed themselves a place in the top 8, why should they strain themselves/risk if a draw suits them just fine? There is no difference between 1st or 3rd-4th-5th place. In parallel, every point in the Premier League is worth all the gold, I think that they are focusing primarily on the Premier League now.
Liverpool might be having the best of there season yet, in the FPL and UCL alike as opposed to Real Madrid that are having difficulty in coordinating there play to play more like a team together, I find them(Real Madrid) to be still formidable as ever, Liverpool needs to exercise extreme caution when they face Real Madrid because, they remain the UCL specialist and it doesn’t matter what team they are up against. They just do enough to qualify each time.

It would make a risky bet dwelling in the win 1x2 market. A more goal approach would be best as both teams are supposedly a scoring side. Jude would be looking out for something to prove to the home fans as a visiting team.

Real Madrid's performance has not been as good as last season so far and expecting them to win the Champions League title this season is a bit doubtful. Fans will still hope that Real Madrid is a team capable of defending its title this season, but it would be completely unreasonable to always let this team win the Champions League title instead of another team.

Several teams that have performed well this season have a good chance of winning the title and one of them is Liverpool. Manchester City also doesn't escape my attention, although so far Manchester City has been unstable, but Real Madrid still shouldn't be ignored even though its performance has been inconsistent. Real Madrid has won 15 Champions League titles in history, they are the best team in this competition.
I do not doubt Real Madrid's performance because in the Champions League they will easily turn their performance around to be better. Yes, lately there has been a lot of speculation that Real Madrid will be doubted to become champions this season because they think Real Madrid's performance has declined this season. But in my opinion they are too early to judge Real Madrid's performance because the Champions League still has many stages to go through so judging early is very unreasonable.

Even in terms of strength, Real Madrid has quite good strength with the quality players they have. But so far I have doubted Mbappe's performance because he has had relatively difficulty showing his best performance with Real Madrid. But as time goes by I admit that Real Madrid will be much stronger compared to the current situation.

I know that Liverpool is in their best form and they have not experienced any difficulties since the beginning of the season, doesn't mean that we should underestimate Real Madrid because of the trauma they are experiencing in the club. However, I believe that they might surprise us on that day, but it will not be easy for this to happen, because Liverpool is also ready for them.

There is a lot of challenge and competition in the Champions League this season. Most of the teams are very ready to see they made it to the title of the Champions League this season, but for me, I still have hope in Real Madrid more than other teams, even though I know for now they are still struggling in their performances, but as we all know, when Real Madrid starts having victories in their games, it will be very hard for them to stop. Moreover, we all know that Real Madrid is one of the teams with the best experience in the Champions League, and they also have a good number of talented players that will lead them to victory in this season.
Real Madrid is quite different from the team you mentioned at the top that has won consecutively in the Champions League and the league. Also, there are many competitive teams in Europe this year, the Champions League may not be as easy for them this year as you say. Ancelotti needs to produce something new, to win consecutively as you say. Otherwise, they have a lot of players with good capacity.

Knowing well that Real Madrid's performance is not as good as we expected doesn’t mean that they will continue having the same performance till the end of the season. And we all know that in the Champions League, it is not only about your performance but also experience, and Real Madrid has both in full, so it is something that is worth being considered. Although you have also mentioned that Real Madrid is the only team that has a total of 15 trophies so far in the Champions League, so that still means they have the chance of winning this season still.

There is a belief among fans about Real Madrid being very difficult to beat in the Champions League so far and that is a miracle that no other team has. Real Madrid are often lucky and able to recover from difficult moments in a match, but I don't think so this season. So far, Real Madrid is often referred to as the king of comebacks where they fell behind first but won at the end, but it is true that this season some people have doubted the consistency of their performance.

I tend to agree that Liverpool is more consistent than Real Madrid regarding performance, but on paper Real Madrid is superior in many ways, including squad depth. Ancelotti is an experienced coach compared to Arne Slot, but I really don't want to doubt Arne Slot even though this is his first season for Liverpool.
It is undeniable that for the beginning of this season Liverpool is still more consistent than Madrid and anyone can still see that for now Madrid's performance still has problems that Ancelotti still cannot solve properly until now.

But when talking about luck, mentality and of course the quality of players then everything still looks the same so for the final result I think this will still be difficult to guess even though from the early season performance Liverpool is still better than Madrid.

Madrid's condition cannot be underestimated even though performance and injured players are a problem but they are still Madrid with all the superior forms they have, especially seeing their h2h from several previous matches in the Champions League we can see that Madrid can always beat Liverpool with a large enough score so this can be a consideration that Madrid also has a great chance for this match.

As you said,  even though Madrid is currently in a big problem because they are still struggling to maintain the performance and condition of several players who are injured,  Madrid is still Madrid where they can always show their existence as a big club.  Although the difference now feels quite big where Liverpool is still quite good compared to Madrid but looking at the statistics and h2h matches of these two clubs it is clear Madrid is still quite dominatin for Liverpool .

This could indeed be an opportunity for Liverpool to carry out a revenge mission after in the last few matches they had to lose to Madrid but on the other hand of course this is not an easy thing so I think this match is quite interesting to wait for. I actually still expect the same scheme for Madrid as in the previous few seasons when beating Liverpool but on the other hand this match could be difficult to predict.

However, I believe that they might surprise us on that day, but it will not be easy for this to happen, because Liverpool is also ready for them.
Liverpool started the season playing against some clubs that are not too strong. The only big club they have faced in the Premier League is Chelsea and Arsenal out of the total number of game played this season. In other league i can barely think of any other big club they've played. So i would say it has been quite an easy pass for Liverpool. Soon they will starting meeting stronger teams in all competition. And its obvious that Liverpool will face Real Madrid, Manchester City after winning against Southampton. If they are able to win against this team then i know they are better than their last season. In the end they might end up wit a trophy.

But at least, Liverpool managed to beat Milan at the San Siro with a score of 1-3 but, Real Madrid lost to Milan at the Santiago Bernabeu with a score of 1-3 as well. Indeed, these results cannot be used as a full benchmark but at least, with these results it can also be a consideration to analyze their performance so far this season. Because at least, based on the odds available at this time also that Liverpool have quite favored odds. But even so, that does not mean I underestimate Real Madrid but indeed, at this moment Liverpool clearly has good results in the Premier League and in the Champion League, so it is not surprising that based on the odds that Liverpool is also a favorite team for this match later.

But indeed, it will be a different assessment if we consider about their head to head results as well. Because in fact, Liverpool and Real Madrid also meet quite often in the Champion League, but in fact Real Madrid has a good dominance of victory when playing against Liverpool in the Champion League. With these factors, then of course Real Madrid as the best team in the world will still have a chance to thwart Liverpool at Anfield. But maybe also, with the conditions and situation of Real Madrid like this, maybe it will also make Liverpool will maximize completely to successfully defeat Real Madrid later. Who knows.

So far, Real Madrid is often referred to as the king of comebacks where they fell behind first but won at the end, but it is true that this season some people have doubted the consistency of their performance.
As far as I know, Real Madrid is only very strong when they can reach the final round. When they play in the final round, it is very difficult to defeat them. They can prove it many times, kindly check their final UCL match history. However, before they reach the final, Real Madrid play as common teams. They were often defeated by other teams, too. Well, for this season, I am also not so sure with Real Madrid chance to win it. Real Madrid performance is decreasing a bit, they have some serious problems. If they can't deal with those problems, it is unlikely to reach the final round.

Yep, it is the fact that Liverpool could play more consistently. So far, Liverpool becomes the only team that always wins the match. They got 0 lose, 0 draw. Their stats is 100% win. If they can finish the league phase with 100% win, they are the most candidate for the champion this season. Arne Slot does a great job in his first season. TBH, I really don't expect this, in the early of the season I guessed Slot will get difficulty to continue Klopp's great seasons in Liverpool.

Liverpool 2.07 vs 3.67 Real Madrid.

My choice is Liverpool. They got advantage to play at home. But, I respect Real Madrid as their opponent. The last time they lost against Madrid at Anfield, and it's time to revenge.

We have seen how Liverpool is this season, they're so consistent, clinical, and having good at teamwork. I don't have faith in them to lose against Madrid at Andfield.

Liverpool's odds are tempting. They're at home, with a full, peak squad. I have no reason to bet on Real Madrid in this game.

Let me predict, Liverpool is going to win it with 2-1. A home game doesn't make Liverpool can massacre Madrid, that's why i think the game is gonna end with narrow score.

It is clear that Liverpool are favourites in the upcoming game, but this does not mean that they will try to take the full three points. I also pick Liverpool here.

Real Madrid only have advantage in head to head, they won 7 times, drew 1 time and never lost against Liverpool. But, head to head stats is pointless if their current performance is bad.

Both of them do lost many players, but as long as Liverpool have Diaz and Salah, they will be fine.
Real Madrid is indeed very superior when viewed from head to head. And actually Real Madrid also looks superior if we look at the depth of the Real Madrid squad, although it is not much different from the depth of the Liverpool squad, which also has quality that is not much different. But Real Madrid's inconsistent condition this season makes us hesitate to choose them. So choosing Liverpool is also the choice that many people will choose. And with the record of not losing in the UCL this time, it will make us believe more in Liverpool's superiority. But don't forget that this is Real Madrid. Where they can sometimes bounce back very quickly and beat any opponent no matter how strong.
Hmmm, that's true mate, but you need to understand that this season Real Madrid have lost so many players in the injuries; suspect all of their crucial players got injured. So this point in front of us makes us hesitate about Real Madrid as well their recent inconsistent performance too. Despite on the other side we can clearly see it that Liverpool have just dominated the league as well as the UEFA champions league under their coach Arne Slot. This season Liverpool are at the top of the league table while real Madrid are second on league standings and they are 6 points behind the top.

Indeed real Madrid have a good H2H record against Liverpool but monitoring all these perspectives makes me feel stalled about real Madrid. So I will go for Liverpool because I didn't see any skeptical points in real Madrid depths. But let's see what's happened next...

Clubs such as Manchester United, AC Milan, Bologna, RB Leipzig, Chelsea, and Bayer Leverkusen are not small clubs. These teams have some of the best players and coaches and are also doing well in their various leagues. Liverpool is currently one of the best teams in Europe. Even Real Madrid and Manchester City are not in very good form now. City have lost straight four games while Real Madrid is behind Barcelona in La Liga. And Madrid is facing so many injury problems which has made Carlo Ancelotti have limited players to select from. I will bet on the Reds when they meet the two teams you think will defeat them.

The referee's decision is inviolable although I see where the referee's tendency seems to favor a team, this will be difficult to prove if the referee is cheating.

Even if the referee makes a mistake, they will not admit it now but after a few years or he has retired then he will reveal all his mistakes, this I saw several referees who have retired admitting to making mistakes.
That's the way it is, no referee's decision can be contested even if their mistake is proven at a later time. Even with VAR technology, referees can still make mistakes and this doesn't only happen in matches involving Real Madrid. I don't blame Real Madrid in this situation, but several big teams including Real Madrid and others often benefit from referee decisions that appear to be biased.

You still remember the Barcelons vs Chelsea match - I don't remember the year, but the referee seemed to favor Barcelona.
If you forget, just remember the mistakes made by the referee in the Liverpool vs Real Madrid match in the last few seasons and this is still new compared to the Barcelona vs Chelsea match.

I also think that Real Madrid will have difficulty winning at Liverpool's home in that match with Real Madrid's current condition. Because currently everyone already knows the condition of the Liverpool team which still looks more consistent in winning matches so the level of difficulty that will be felt by Real Madrid will definitely be much greater even though everyone knows that Real Madrid is a team that is often strong in the Champions League.
Madrid and Liverpool currently have very different conditions so that we begin to doubt the capacity possessed by Madrid to beat Liverpool, maybe in terms of achievement and also mentality of course Madrid is superior to Liverpool in the UCL, but currently the poor performance and conditions that befall Madrid are clearly our reason to bet on Liverpool victory in the match,  In my opinion, the match will be very crucial and challenging for Madrid because however they are currently under strong pressure after a series of bad results they got in the UCL and La Liga, although madrid always has the ability to perform exceptionally in big matches, but I think the match will not go as they expected and may make them get their third defeat of the season in the UCL.

I hope the Real Madrid guys will bounce back soon enough to be able to beat Liverpool else with the current performance of Liverpool, the only team I think Liverpool might find it a bit difficult to trash will be Barcelona but they're currently doing very well as far as delivery of goals and winning of matches are concerned. This is both at the domestic league level and in the Champions League too. Liverpool's coach, Jurgen Norbert Klopp have started this season will full energy, ready to face any team that comes right on their way. I don't see them becoming scared of any of these top clubs right now. The chances of Real Madrid beating Liverpool in this situation is pretty much on the low side so Ancelotti needs to put his extra energy to get good results.
Sorry @iBaba, it seems like you are too caught up in the Madrid vs Liverpool match in the past, so you forget that currently the Liverpool coach is Ten Hag and no longer Klopp as you say, besides that when you say that Liverpool can only be defeated by Barcelona, of course you forget that Liverpool has previously been defeated by Nottingham Forest in the EPL.

Real Madrid, Man City, Bayern Munich or Liverpool, they are all strong candidates for UCL this season who have the opportunity to win the title and in my opinion Barcelona is the same with its current condition with Hansi Flick, they deserve to be included in the category of strong candidates accompanying the 4 teams.
And to answer your doubts, let's just leave it to Barcelona, especially Hansi Flick, whether he is able to bring Blaugrana further in this competition or not or other possibilities present a trophy, no one knows. For now, let's just enjoy their competition.
So far Barcelona has proven they can be counted upon to be a strong contender for the trophy but the challenge has always been with consistency, the reason they cannot be immediately be given the credit already is because there are still more games ahead for them to prove consistency and in recent season they haven't shown that experience as much as the other teams considered to be top teams and so it's almost very okay to nurse the doubts around them been able to be regarded as a strong contender just yet but I'm optimistic that by mid season of the UCL we can be able to tell better if they will be able to have a chance at the UCL title.

I agree with you, but there is one other thing that may be difficult to say about Real Madrid. In my opinion, Real Madrid is the most influential big team in Europe, I mean sometimes referees tend to make decisions that favor Real Madrid over their opponents and this is the part that is most difficult for most people to admit. Only those who are neutral will admit it, while others will likely deny it.

I know that referees are human beings who cannot fail to make mistakes, but sometimes their leadership in matches involving Real Madrid is very unfavorable for the opposing team. There are some decisions that can be controversial at times, these are the influences I mentioned earlier.

Mentality is the main capital that Real Madrid brings to the Champions League, they have repeatedly been in situations where they will lose, but at the same time they have also managed to turn things around and they have become winners in the match, especially in the knockout round and also in the second leg. This is a very good thing that Real Madrid has, and I also agree that so far they are the best club when it comes to mentality in the match. Well, whoever will be their opponent must be careful, because the bad results they experienced before will not make them give up easily.
